Wang Yiheng showed Bai Yuan the letter and said in a calm voice, "Mo-er has sent a letter saying that she can't travel to the palace but she wants us to visit her instead."

Bai Yuan gave him a confused look, "Mo-er? Who's she? Your side chick?"

Wang Yiheng was at a loss for words, "Wife, did you forget, she's my sister?"

Bai Yuan counterattacked, "You also forgot that I 'suggested' you not to call me wife."

Yiheng blinked at him helplessly, "B-But you are my WIFE."

"Oh, yeah? Sorry, I forgot," Bai Yuan played with Yeye and didn't look at him, "So, why can't she come here?"

How am I supposed to remember when I have no memories of the original?

Yiheng let a low sigh and opened the letter, "She wrote that her belly is now as big as a watermelon, the roads are bumpy and she's afraid to travel at such a time with her baby. But she misses us."

"Don't lie, she obviously wrote she missed 'You'." Bai Yuan jerked his head with a style, gesturing that he knew what was written there.

Yiheng protested and turned the letter towards him, "I'm not lying, she wrote 'I really miss you and sister-in-law, don't forget to bring Yeye! Kai wants to meet his brother'."

Bai Yuan bit his lips, "I see, by the way.... how old is she?"

Yiheng replied with his usually calm voice, as he kept the letter aside, "She's probably 22 right now." He got up and moved closer to Bai Yuan and Yeye, "Kai would be happy to meet our Yeye."

Bai Yuan thought for a while, I guess, it would be better to change the weather once in a while. He grabbed Yeye's arms and gently threw them in the air, exclaiming, "Lessgoo on a trip, baby!"

Yeye giggled and joined his mother, "Lessgoo!"

Xu Ying observed them from the roof while being hidden, the scene made him happy for some reason.

The next day

Bai Yuan happily entered the carriage that was supposed to take them to Wang Mo-er's palace. Wang Mo-er, age 22, is known as the only princess and sister of the two princes (One is now the Emperor though). For another political marriage, like all other princesses in history, she was married off to the neighboring Empire's Crown prince. It was the empire from which once Feng Mian came to Wang Jinrei's Empire as an envoy. Feng Mian's father was one of the most dedicated ministers and so to honor him and the relationship between the two mighty Empires, while in reign, Queen Dowager, Qian Shiyu, decided to tie the knot between Wang Mo-er and Shen Haixiong. But, rumors said that the couple was madly in love with each other even though it was a marriage without their consent. Wondering, how was everyone so sure of their love? That's really simple to notice. The lovely royal love birds had 3 eggs consecutively in just 4 years after their marriage. After hatching, the first and oldest egg was named Shen Haiying(4 years old), the second one which was recently hatched was named Shen Ming(2.5 years) and the third one was still to be hatched.

Yeye's nanny previously provided him with a huge amount of information about Wang Mo-er, since she's the oldest one in the Blue Sky Manor at the moment. Truly, her sources were amazing. Learning about Mo-er, Yuan was greatly amazed, " 3 kids in 4 years, damn girl. You're really something."

One thing was sure, Wang Mo-er loved kids. Her letter already expressed a little bit of her playfulness, otherwise who would write so casually to the emperor, saying her belly was now as big as a watermelon? Remembering those funny remarks, Bai Yuan chuckled and took a seat in the carriage. His curious gaze followed the whole carriage from inside. "Wow, it's so much bigger and spacious than the one I used before."

Following him, Yeye jumped inside the carriage and secured his comfortable seat, climbing up on Bai Yuan's lap. He looked content and quite comfortable in his soft seat. Bai Yuan noticed that joyful expression and pretending to be an automatic seatbelt, clasped his arms around Yeye's fluffy torso, "Let's buckle up!"

Yeye didn't get the meaning at all, but he broke into laughter and wiggled inside the firm grip, "Hahaha, mommy, it tickles! Stop!"

Everything was going so funny and fluffy until someone came inside the carriage and took a seat right beside Bai Yuan. Bai Yuan's mouth twitched, "Your majesty, the carriage is so large to carry 10 people at once."

Wang Yiheng nodded and played with Yeye's small hands without making any eye contact with Bai Yuan.

"May I ask, then why did you sit here, making the seat all cramped?"

"Because I like this place better.."

Huh, look at this man! Lying so brazenly….

"Then, I'll just go to the other side, enjoy your seat." Saying that Bai Yuan was about to stand up, however, the sudden movement of the carriage resulted in staggering. Also adding the load in his arms he couldn't help losing his balance and falling on the person beside him.

Wang Yiheng finally was looking right into Bai Yuan's bright azure eyes. They were as captivating as sitting beside a seashore, watching the bright blue waves crash onto each other and shimmer under the bright sun. On the other hand, Bai Yuan also seemed to be getting lost in the depth of gold. As if many nuclear fusion reactions were continuously happening inside, the glow was blinding but mesmerizing at the same time. If not for Xu Ying's interruption, God knows how long the two of them would've taken to break away from the illusion of their eyes.

Bai Yuan's heart hammered crazily inside his ribcage when he noticed that he was sitting on Wang Yiheng's lap. Yeye was closely listening, leaning on Bai Yuan's chest, "Mommy, something is jumping inside."

Bai Yuan with swift hands closed the sharp ears of his little baby and secretly shushed him.

From the outside, Xu Ying coughed, "My apologies, your highnesses. The horses became restless for a while when we were attaching them to the carriage."

Wang Yiheng hid his face from Bai Yuan and replied, "How long will it take?"

"We can begin the ride anytime, master."

Finding the chance, Bai Yuan got down from Yiheng's lap and took a seat beside him instead. God, please don't let this man see my face right now!

The path was long and distant since Wang Mo-er lived in the neighboring Empire's capital. Calculating all circumstances that could happen during the journey, it was probably going to take them 2 days and one night. Bai Yuan, Wang Yiheng, Yeye, and Xu Ying were traveling together. The Royal trio was in the carriage and Xu Ying was on his horse. On their way, Bai Yuan saw many people and their daily activities. Everyone was working hard and seemed content with their lives. When they were passing by the capital's market, it was so lively and bustling that Bai Yuan couldn't push back his urge to take a look inside.

He called Xu Ying beside his window, to stop the carriage and asked curiously, "Will it be okay to go to the market for a while?"

Xu Ying nervously replied, "Your highness, this question is not for me to answer."

Xu Ying and Bai Yuan heard a low but distinct cough. Bai Yuan turned his head toward the source of the noise.

He asked with a broad smile, "Looks like your majesty has a sore throat, I'll quickly go to market, buy the medicine and come back at the speed of light, okay?" No sooner had he spoken the words, he gave Yeye to Wang Yiheng and dashed outside of the carriage.

Wang Yiheng was at a loss for words. But Xu Ying was truly enjoying his master's helplessness, the master who was undefeatable on the battlefield, the one every enemy is so scared of. He was now helplessly following his wife.

"Pfft-"

Wang Yiheng glared with a raised eyebrow, "Xu Ying, did you just laugh?"

Xu Ying gulped and replied in a low voice, "Absolutely not, master."

The next moment, Yeye was in his arms and blinking at him with his big cherry blossom azure eyes. He looked around but, sighs, Wang Yiheng had already disappeared into the crowd like Bai Yuan.

He let out a loud sigh, "Prince, let's wait here for a while."

Yeye looked with puppy eyes and lightly tugged on Xu Ying's arm, "Ge, I want to pee."

Xu Ying, "... Let's hurry up!"
