5:50:23 PM
In the vicinity and most guarded stronghold, there was a man imprisoned inside the most secured floor located in the deepest part. His arms and feet were all chained by heavy metal canone and he appeared to be in his teenage years despite his long yet messy appearance. He was topless and only his pants was his own property carried. The guards gave his dinner but with appetizer of their feces and a cup of their pee. They were laughing as they gave him without remorse.
“Eat your dinner, you punk.”
“You haven’t even eaten your breakfast and your lunch as well. You’re going to regret not eating this food that we serve to you, prisoner. Or else, you’ll be like the little girl that will become the meat dinner for the Quoe monsters, lol.”
They leave his cell and closed it. He took a glance at the content of the plate and gently pushed it away from his face. He let the rats ate it as it wasn’t healthy for him to take. He sighed and looked up at the ceiling. He recalled his younger sister and his friends. A shed of tears came out from his eyes and hoped that one day he would be able to return to his homeland someday - to take revenge for what they did to him.
Two years ago, he was a former Yakuza boss in his own domain. He was the youngest of his generation to rule his land. It was located in the Saardineos. However, it had changed when a coup de ta occured. He could easily fight them on but the people who set a civil war was the people he trusted so much. He was betrayed and stabbed to death by his former friends and the only family he cared did the same thing. His younger sister named Yuikita, tried to poison him by her own magic. When the time he escaped death, he ran away from his own hometown. His status, peer, and happy life had been ruined in a single night and had lost from his own hands. Another unfortunate event happened to him when he got captured by the Verdugo family when he hailed in the eastern part of island. He was treated like an animal for their experiment. He hadn’t eaten a single meal since he became a prisoner.
His tears in the ground had been drink by the rats who was watching him crying in sorrow. He regretted of not doing anything to his entire life. He wished to be able to find someone who could he share this burden to his life. He closed his eyes and kneeled.
I don’t want to become a burden and a prisoner of this place anymore. Oh God, hear my prayers. If you’re true and benevolent, please lend me your ears to hear this one. For the time when you finally open your heart to this lowly being, I do hope you forgive all my sins. Here my prayer, oh lord. Please kindly find me a suitable master to lend me his strength, influence and power. I’ll promise that I’ll give everything I can to serve and protect that man or woman. I’ll neither wish for higher status nor a meal for the time being. I pray for one day you to let me become useful servant even he treats me like a fool and toy. A toy machine…. to destroy his enemies and a fool…. who will give my life in order to fulfill my duty as a guard.
If you hear this prayer, Oh God, please let me be someone who can spread my wrath to anyone. To slice their throat and take vengeance to the people who I thought could be trusted but easily tossed me aside to take power from my previous land. Oh lord, have mercy on me. When the time has come, I wish that my master is different from the others. A kind of cruel man who wish to change his faith and bring justice to victims who suffered a heavy defeat and sorrow. Who will save me one day from this chains of despair and let me fly once again. Till my death, my lord. This is what I pray. Thank you, God.”

Suddenly, the two guards were running but got caught by the rocks. There eyes and mouth except their nose were covered while their hands and feet were tied by cements.
What’s going on? the prisoner asked, listening in the sounds occured in the other side. I can hear three footsteps, two were have a slender walk, it could be women. The other has a rough one, could it be a man? Listening to their conversation, my hearings and conclusion were right.
He tried to stand up and moved closer to the hard and cold metal cell. He looked at the right side and saw an upcoming three shadows enlightened by the light of the torch.
“Hey, little Wendy. Are you sure this is the right path?” an unknown voice of man waving the torch to the right side to view the way in their direction.
“I’m not sure, sir. But I have an intuition that we must go in here.” an unfamiliar voice of a young girl replied, following the young man’s back.
“Intuition? Seriously, people who follows that kind of logic will meet their death in an instant. Should we really trust that kind of way of living?” The young man in a mask said, looking half-faced to the girl.
“Mr. Aljen, we should trust her. There’s no other people we could rely on. She has been a prisoner of this place for such -”
“-such a short time. Seriously, I’m actually doubt that this little is useful in terms of direction.”
“Umm, haha~,” a slight smile was her only replied when she recalled the moment when they saved the girl.
“It’s not what you think, sir. Even though I accidentally pointed out to go to the wrong path where there are so many ‘worms’ living and we ended up losing the three hostages, it’s totally worth it though.” she immediately interrupted, pointing her point of view and denying the mistake she made.
“Screw that, little Wendy. Because of you, we lost our chance to have a good reason of letting us to go. We could use those people as our meatshield though. Damn, I still recall the horrible karma of those three. Eating by a big Quoe is too much for me to handle.”
“Karma?” the young blonde girl asked, she was wearing a maid outfit.
“Aah, nothing.”
“What’s the quie?”
“Idiot, a Qu-o-e. Quoe - the monsters we met earlier. The big worm living under the tunnel.”
“Mr. Aljen,” the young maid covered the ears of the little girl. “Language, please.”
The young man clicked his tongue and turned around. He continued to walk and followed the path. “Gosh, forget ‘bout it. Let’s go. Watch your steps. We don’t even know when and where the guards will appear.”
“Right.”
“Ms. Zairena, thank you very much.” the little girl appeared upset at what he said earlier.
“Don’t worry about it. He appears to be too worried about us. Boys don’t show it in their face but deep inside to us, we can concluded that they just get angry whenever they feel worry to our condition.”
The little girl covered her eyes and wiped out her tears. “Really?”
“Yes, and once you reach the right age. You’ll soon understand the logic behind it.” the young maid smiled after she said it and she patted the little girl’s head to ease her stress.
“Let’s go now or else, we will be scolded again.”
“Right.”
The prisoner saw the light of the torch and he tried to say something to call their attention. But no voice came out from his mouth but only “Gae co gos”. It only sounds like a man who had been deaf for such a long time. Because of his two years imprisonment and tormented by several months and no other humans to be mingle except the guards, he lose his ability to talk much. As the light has slightly faded out in his sight, he had losing hope to be save by anyone. He classified to his mind that those three people who were conversing earlier were good people. Thus, he needed to speak up before it’s too late. They are the only his chance to escape the prison.

He tried one more time to speak and call for their help but his word won’t come out. He tried to scream but only weak tone had sound. His eyes almost dropped a lot of tears as he was losing hope of being save.
Please anyone. Anyone who can hear me. Please…. Please someone…. Please anybody. Please save me.
In one moment, his eyes was blinded by light, the flame of the torch enlightened the whole cell, giving an essence of hope and liberty to his mind and soul. In the middle of two shadows, one man stepped forward and opened the door of the cell using the keys.
An angel of justice
The man bend down his upper part and raised his hands to him. “Finally, found you. Never thought you’re in this disgusting scene.”
“Gah goh ssooe dho.” he wanted to say, ‘My angel of justice.’
“What?”
The prisoner’s eyes had finally saw his face, a young man around between 14 to 15 years of age. He wore a white sleeves and a mask in his face who appeared too young to wear such thing.
“Shit, you’re not him!” the young man got mad when he scanned his face. “Damn it, this is not him. You got a wrong man, little Wendy.”
“Goh?”
“Mr. Aljen, is he not the one you’re looking for?” the young maid asked, who appeared the same age as the young man. She was holding the torch and beside her, was a little girl.
She might be a prisoner just like me.
“My apologies, sir. I thought you said earlier that you’re looking for a young man who appears to be in his late 20’s so I ended up to conclude that this man you’re looking for and also an identical twins who is the same age as mine.” the little girl lowered head in apology, begging to be spare from another cruel words. She covered her ears in order to prevent him to produce more harsh words against her.
Wendy? So she’s the girl who was being dragged down in the deepest part of the prison to be eaten by the worms.
“Gosh, “ the young man scratched his head and turned his attention to the prisoner. “Hey buddy, do you know a man who’s name Justin. He has a black hair just like you.”
The prisoner swayed his head of denial.
“Oh shit, we went to this place for nothing. We should go to the next floor.” When the young man took a step away from him, the prisoner grabbed his arm’s sleeve.
“What do you want?” the young man stared at him in anger. “If you don’t have anything to say, let go of my sleeve. You’re just ruining it.”
“P-please… listen…. To…. me..” the prisoner’s first words finally came out. After several errors and trials to speak, he finally spoke something lenient yet still need more improvement.
“Are you a deaf or mute? I said let go of me. Speak now or else you’ll get a one kick to hell.”
“Mr. Aljen, I think he wants to say something to you. You should listen to his words first.” the young maid said. “Little Wendy, please hold this for me.” she transferred the torch to the little girl and she quickly moved to the prisoner and helped him to stand up.
“Huh? Hey, can you just stop th-”
“Mr. Aljen, this man appears to be unable to pronounce some words but he is still trying his best to speak one phrase. Looking at his current condition, he must been long to be silenced in this place.”
The prisoner looked at her and she gave him a smile that he had nothing to worry about. She would give him a hand to help him to say his words.
Thank you, Madam. You’re an Angel of Kindness.
He wiped out his tears and tried to speak.
“Please… listen… to… what… I … want… to … say.”
“Sure why not. This is a democratic nation though.”
Haha, sarcastic. It’s even more like a demagogue state of nation.
“Thank…. You...”
“So what do you want to tell to me then?” the young man folded his arms near his chest and looked at him. “Speak.”
“I… serve… you. Please… let… me… come… with… you.”
“Jeez,” the young man scratched his head and stomped the ground twice out of anger. “Seriously, that’s all you want to tell me? In return of saving your ass, you want to serve me ? For fuck sake, I don’t even know you. Why should I?”
“Mr. Aljen, your language. There’s a kid behind you.”
The young man named Aljen clicked his tongue.
“Please...” the prisoner lowered his head.
“Mr. Aljen, we should help him.” the young maid gave him a pitiful eyes, making the young man to feel unease.
“Damn it, it’s not I don’t want to help this guy. I just don’t care, idiot.”
“So… then..” the prisoner opened wide his eyes full of hope.
“Alright, what is your name then, prisoner?”
“I’m… Kuro -”
“Kuro, okay.”
“-saki”
“Huh?” a loud yelled in surprise when the young man heard his name as Kurosaki. He began to sweat a lot in his face and his legs shook. “Seriously, you’re that man?” He bite his lips and moved to the wall. “You’re that man?” His eyes began to feel fear.
“Mr. Aljen, is something wrong?”
The young maid, Kurosaki and little Wendy tilted their heads when they witnessed his surprise face. The young man took a cough and returned to his senses.
“Ms. Zairena, use your magic to untie this man. We will help to escape this prison.”
“Yes, Mr. Aljen.” She gave him a salute and obediently followed his order.
“Thank… you… very much.” the prisoner smiled as he finally grasped the freedom he was asking for.
Thank you, God. For giving me an opportunity and you answer my prayer out of my expectation.

Blaze
The story of a fire elemental's life in a world dominated by mages. He will have to learn how to manage betrayals, treachery, and maybe even love as he goes on adventures to find a meaning to it all. From dark, humble beginnings he will rise... or fall, devastating amounts in his journey across the world. Hello, Author here! I am, unfortunately, rather terrible at coming up with descriptions that seem to have the right amount of decorum and yet actually serve their function of adequately describing the story, so here's the coursenotes. - The story follows a fire elemental. (As you can tell from that, it is heavily besed on fantasy with mages and the like. Technology will not feature prominently) -As mentioned in the tags, this will have game-like aspects. (E.G. levels, stats. I will be trying to put my own twist on this notion however, so bear with me if the premise intrests you but you despise LitRpg) -It'll get rather dark, but not devastatingly so. (I'm trying to write a more complex story so it will have its dark moments, the prologue being one of them. Rest assured the whole story will not be this dark, though I'll make sure that no-one is a saint either) -The protagonist/protagonists will not be a Mary-Sue. (The plural will be understood when I'm further into the story. They also won't be impossiby unlikeable such as those in many Light novels.) -There is no prophecy (Anyone who says there is, is lying, trust me.)
