District 4 - West part (Verdugo - Occupied area)
11:55:12 PM
Blood and pieces of death meat lay scattered in the place. The heat of the sun dried the land of the corpse in instant. The exchanging of bullets from the rifles were escalated in the combat field. The scream of the injured personnel and the cries of the friends lose their friends from the battle overwhelmed in the place. Sweat coming out from their faces, injured personnel dragged away from the battlefield and innocent people forcefully became a collateral damages. Some notable buildings were collapsing from the bomb of each sides released and burning shelters were in the scene.
The 5th Verdugo troops had already breached the gate of the District 4. Thanks for the great effort gave by their leader named Patioche Woale, the 5th Caporegime of Verdugo family. Because of him, they easily occupied half of the place. His men were shooting down the village guards that were trying to retake the western side of the district and pushed away the troops outside the District.
While the Verdugo troops advanced in the eastern side of District 4, Rafel Uno, representative of District 1 arrived in the battlefield. He wore his combat suit, a blue light-armored made of mythril elements and a mythril helmet. Behind his back was a well-made silver shotgun and a sword in his left waist. He was now taking charge of commanding the troops against the enemies. Few minutes ago, he received a report from the guards hailed that the western part of this district had been occupied, killing their captain by a strong opponent in black suit. When he heard about it, he went immediately to the place and found the reports to be true. Anger and tempted to take avenge the lost ones, he confronted the commander in charge of the district and forcefully took the leadership from him. If he didn’t take the first step, he didn’t know how many lives will lost.
One messenger came in and saluted their commander.
“Sir Uno, the enemies in the right side of Western District 4 were advancing. The captain of the desired place were asking for reinforcement.”
“Send three squads in that place.”
“Yes, sir.”
“Commander, the enemies in the left side wiped out all our troops.”
He clicked his tongue and replied, “Send more troops in that place. We can’t lose that one!”
“But sir, we don’t have any replacement. We’re -”

“Send some forces in that place immediately. Use the one third from troops of the center peak.”
“Sir, that’s impossible to do. If we send them in that place, we’re going to lost some guards in that place. The enemies will going to breakthrough to our defense in the center peak. It is almost near to our site.”
“Then do it.”
“Sir!”
“No buts! Send them to that place immediately! Retake that place. Whatever you do, don’t hesitate!”
“Y-y-yes sir.”
The messenger saluted and stepped backward, leaving the headquarters. Rafel folded his arms while tapping his right foot in anger. Despite his efforts to delay the enemies spearhead attack, they were still unable to stop their movements. His men were efficiently pushed back from their position. He clicked his tongue as he realized how his men were lacked in training in term of modern warfare. He put his right arm under his chin and thought for a counter offensive. In each side, he placed 150 men in left and right side whilst only 100 were sent to defend the center peak, approximately in total of four hundred troops were bravely defending the entire eastern part of District 4.
Another messenger came in and reported the situation. According to his message, around 1,000 troops coming from the North-Southern part of District 2 were approaching. Rafel’s face became pale and pushed his chest to ease his shock.
“What the fuck? Are you telling me we’re now dealing another surprised offensive? Damn it,” he hammered his table by his right hand and highly didn’t anticipate the attack. “Send a message to my captains to take command in that place immediately. We can let them take the District 1 while we’re dealing the upcoming troops of this morons.”
“Sir, there’s no need to worry. The District 1 has a commander?”
“Who’s in-charge of protecting that District?”
“Uh, eh, uh..” the messenger was unable to answer. Not because he didn’t know but he knew his current mood would definitely became worse than ever once he told him who’s taking the command of that area.
“Speak now! Do you want me to burn your face and send it into the ground?”
“Iiieh! It’s Ms. Ylla, sir!”
“What?” he pushed his table away from him and walked closer to the messenger. He grabbed his collar.. A lot of sweat dropped out from his face as his commander’s face became closer to him. “Why’d the little bitch take the command there? She was together with the council members, right? Why did she take that post?”

“My apologies, commander. I don’t know the answer.”
In his disappointment, he pushed him out from the headquarters and kicked the table out of his face.
Meanwhile, the Verdugo troops that had already occupied the left side of the Eastern District 4 had been surprised from the upcoming wave of troops from their enemies.
“Don’t be afraid from their attack. They’re weak and pitiful. Kill as much as you want. Waste your bullets until the last drop of your magazines.” said Captain, raising his sword towards the upcoming Village guards.
“Sir, yes, sir!”
“Charge!”
All of the brave soldiers of Verdugo left flank battalion in numbers of around 88 men raised their weapons and engaged the outnumbered men of Villager guards. The rate of casualties increased as the blood flowed in the field of the battlefield. Sweat and tears, blood and iron. Nothing had been done good in this war between two opponents. How long such cruel fate of these people stop this conflict? Will God forsake the death whether good or bad people?
In the end, the charge of each sides resulted to a more pinched of cutting each parts of their bodies as their blades approached each others. Two to three people lost their arms, cut their stomach, opening their abdomen, others lost their eyes whilst the unfateful individuals lost their important private part of their lower body.
“Don’t lose hope! Don’t let them outflank you!”
“Outflank them!”
“Reload!”
“Don’t let them to escape!”
“Die you bastards!”
“Die! For Lady Verdugo!”
Moving to the center peak, they had only 40 men defending the area. Almost 10 percent had died while 50 percent were forcefully sent to aid the left side. The Verdugo troops had three hundred men and readied to spearhead. After less than 15 minutes, the Verdugo won in the end. Those who survived the clash in the villagers were brutally shot in the head. No one had been shown mercy.
“Sir, we’ve captured the left flank. What’s your next order?” the captain asked, using a radio communicator behind his back.
“Good. Very good. Now use the chance to take out the center peak’s defenders and aid our comrades.” 5th Capo Woale replied, grinning in good news.
“Copy that. The leader wants us to approach the center peak and reinforces our friends in the field. Some of you will going to carry our injured comrades to the clinic while the remaining were going to follow me. Move faster, copy?”
“Yeah!” The survivors replied in unison.
After several minutes, the reinforcement came from the left flank had successfully wiped out the defenders of the center peak and occupied the area. The troops of the center peak - Verdugo troops had joined together with left flank - Verdugo battalion to move to the HQ.
As they approached the enemies command District 4 HQ, one man was standing alone, folded his arms and stared at them seriously. It was Rafel Uno waited for them to arrive in his place. He clicked his tongue as he felt disappointed at the numbers of the group arrived. He also got irritated as he murmured “How useless my men really are.” The Verdugo troops had underestimate his current standard. They had more than 334 men against one. It’s a win-to-win. No doubt about that. They quietly giggled and began to march towards the base.
“[Fire flame]!” in one chant, four big sphere appeared around his body, floating up. In one shot, several of them burn miserably and died. The troops had began to scatter and aimed their guns against him. However, some of them splashed from the mine. A large explosions smoked up from the air.
“Don’t be scared. He’s only one! Only one!”
“He’s a mage, sir.”
“Call our mage battalion!”
“Sir, no one is responding!”
“What?”
“There is something blocking the radio wave that’s why we can’t contact the command center, sir.”
Unaware from the place, Rafel Uno used an another spell where it had an effects to block the soundwaves and radiowaves of anything near his position. He smirked and he told them, “Behold you morons. You dare to defy this small village who has a future for the next generation! You, more than 300 troops will die. This place will become your grave! [Fire Pry High]!”
A huge spheres in a size of softball appeared behind his back. In count of three, the spheres had been released and scattered like a shooting star towards the invaders. Few of the hideous soldiers didn’t survive from the powerful tier magic he produced. Some had been luckily alive because of the buildings they’d use as a shield.

Orc Lord
A young woman just starting out in life is killed tragically in a car accident. However, she soon regains consciousness as a baby in a fantasy world. But... she's an Orc?! It would be good if she could just enjoy her new life quietly, but she seems destined for war and carnage. How will she fare as a monster in a fantasy world? ________________ This story will have a total of three arcs: Arc 1, The Birth of Babylon: 571 pages (complete) Arc 2, The Baphomet War: 420 pages (complete) Arc 3, The Mad Queen of Carnage: (in progress) ________________ Ultimately, I'm writing this for enjoyment. If you enjoy it too, fantastic! Gore: Extremely infrequent, but moderately intense. Profanity: There are a few swear words here and there, as well as some more creative insults. Traumatizing Content: While I'm at it, there are some questionable morals displayed (mostly after chapter 77). So far we can check off slavery, brainwashing, war, and genocide. This story starts off very Light Novel-ish because I was reading a lot of them at the time. The writing style gradually matures as it goes. Sorry, but I don't have the stamina to go back and fix everything, even if I know it gets pretty roughshod at times. New readers, please keep in mind, I make use of "unreliable narrators" at times. My story accepts donations, but it is free to read and I've only uploaded it here. Lastly, Orc Lord is a member of the WriTEr's Pledge, which means I have sworn to see it through to a satisfying ending. One of my long breaks triggered a dishonor, but I'll redeem it someday when it's actually finished. I'm the ultimate necromancer author. ;P
