The Empress’s words tried to imply that she was being nice…That she had found bad information and kept it from going public…It really did seem obvious to Sahara, though, that she was trying to look genuinely worried about her but stabbing her in the back at the same time…

Sahara always wondered how characters felt when this sorta thing happened…

They were so much smarter than Sahara though, they found some kind of evidence to support their innocence of the claim and here she was still shocked that the empress had that much time on her hands to come up with so many ways to fuck her up! Why? Why are they so determined!?

Being to the belief that experiences, understandings and being true to oneself were big contributions to getting the best out of life, Sahara felt complexed to become such a big thing to what looked like two other people that she didn’t even know. On one side she felt bad because they had truly just wasted their time over someone who simply didn’t care for them and yet, on another side, Sahara felt quite…Lucky…To have two people so dedicated to think about her and she felt like it was still quite a feat as this kind of thing would put emphasis upon her life and she knew that it was a bit of a token that would be left behind.

Leaving a story of oneself through the ages was nice but…Sahara highly doubted that she would be remembered much in her last life…

I really…Must have killed her dog! But when did I do that!?

Sahara couldn’t come up with any other conclusion! She must have had done something to her, but she wasn’t sure on what it was! That Prince, the now broken prince…He has a mother…Was it her? Did she know that she had been the one that had chopped off his dick? Is that why she’s angry?

Suddenly, Sahara guessed that she understood and she felt like she had figured it all out!

Silence filled the room and Matthew ended up putting his hand around Sahara’s waist protectively, bringing her closer to him.

"You don't deserve him! You are probably already pregnant with somebody else's baby! How can someone like that marry someone as great as the Second Prince!" Miss Haves said. Her voice was louder than normal, but she hadn't yelled. She would be silly to not act like a lady in front of the emperor!

Sahara stared right back at the empress and blinked innocently. She could hardly believe what they were saying!

First a silent approval, then birthdates not matching, and I was unlucky, now an affair and a baby! They...They were going a tad overboard! What next!? I'm a monster that kills kids? I'm really a beast in disguise?

It really had started to become an act! If they kept going for too much longer, Sahara was afraid that she’d start laughing!

The emperor was getting more and more furious, as the time went on. He had initially wanted to see what Matthew would do, but things were getting out of hand! He had never thought that an affair and pregnancy would be brought up...If it were true...

"I assure you, I am a virgin." Sahara said, very sternly. She then looked at the emperor and said, "I would prefer the emperor have someone check, then any of these two. They seem to hate me, for some reason."

Sahara, then, looked back at the emperor, from looking quickly at the Empress and Miss Haves, and raised her eyebrows. She had already stopped herself from pointing at them, but her words just sorta slipped out…

The emperor sighed, "Then, go and fetch my personal imperial physician and my personal nanny."

His original nanny had already passed away, and his nanny now had hardly anything to do, as she was also getting old. But she was loyal and knew how to check this kind of thing. Actually, a very personal secret of the emperor was that he liked his previous nanny, loved her like a real mother and had simply wanted another one. Of course, no one knows of this, unless they had figured it out themselves, but as long as the nanny was there when he needed her, that was all he wanted from her.

The Empress, upon hearing these words, found herself slightly flustered. Then...When she heard the next words, she was completely stunned.

"I thought I was summoned here today to heal you, like I did Eunuch Han a little earlier...Like I did with the emperor when he had been attacked. You really surprised me, Queen...Majesty. I was instead called here to be insulted and walked over. So, if you change your mind and want me to heal you later, I think I’ll deny your request because of this."

Sahara wondered how stupid they were...Did they forget or were they not told, that she had healed the Emperor?

But Sahara wasn't upset, she just thought that they were stupid.

“Presumptuous!” Sahara heard the Empress lash out at her.

Sahara sighed...Again!

Matthew tightened his hold on his Princess, "You don't have to heal her if you don't want to."

"Matthew!" The Empress yelled.

Matthew glared at the Empress, "I vouch my life in protecting my Princess and do whatever would make her happy. I believe her words and am sure she is pure...Though, I'm not sure if that person is or not."

Pointing at Miss Haves in a rude manner, Rose was utterly devastated! How could he do this! Of course she was a virgin!

I’m more pure then that woman by your side! And I’ve saved my innocence for you, Your Highness!

But what Matthew had meant, was her heart...That her heart was not pure…But other literal things seemed to be thought of from what he had said...

"This King is seriously displeased! Two women making so much fuss! Sahara, take me back to the court room!"

The emperor got up and Matthew walked to him first, looking at him for a short moment, then walking up to his ear. "You are the best man...Emperor Father."

It was like ringing bells going off in the emperor’s head, as he turned and looked at Matthew in complete shock. The best man? The best man!?

Nodding very slightly, he heard Matthew again, "There is something there that Miss Haves may have given the Empress for an acceptance of marriage...Might I remind Emperor father, that you have yet another son..."

Widening his eyes, the emperor let out a smile. Matthew was right! There was a way to keep his son happy and be able to obtain the ownership of the Spirit Convert Association!

"Your Majesty, let my maids check for her purity! They will only take a moment!" The Empress said, trying to sound normal but inside she was really unhappy and decided to make the best of the situation. Her maids would know what to do, they wouldn't take long, in just ten or so minutes and it would be all over.

The maids started to come towards Sahara, from a look that the Empress gave them, and Matthew saw this, making the emperor turn as well.

"Miss Rolland, please come with us for a moment." One of them said to Sahara.

"For what?" Sahara asked. Yep! She was purposely playing dumb!

"We will check you, Miss Rolland." The same maid said, putting out her hand.

Sahara looked at her hand and then back at her, "Check me for what?"

"Are you dumb, just go with them!" Miss Haves said, already frustrated to have gotten this far. If only she would go, that is all they needed! She couldn’t help but let this out, but honestly, she was still holding back! She wanted to pull that beautiful girl’s hair right off her head! She wanted what they planned too actually be true! She wanted the Princess’s spot, that was to be beside her beloved Prince! She wanted everything she had! How could she not want to make this happen, and now! All that stupid, little girl had to do, was go with the maid, that’s it!

"Hey, I just don't know what they want, is all. If they want to check me for a watch, I don't have one! If they want a computer, I don't have one..." Sahara didn't know what else to say...She was just biding time...And they were the first things that popped into her head…

"We will check the miss, to see if her innocence has gone." The same maid said, standing closer and waiting for Sahara to take her hand.

"Oh, the Emperor has already said something about that. Did you not hear it?" Sahara said, it came out very normal and as though her previous words from moments ago all made sense. Since Sahara was already going to get checked out for that by someone else, then what would these maids want!?

I was so innocent! Totally! Haha! Should go check out that Prince that is somewhere around here, see my innocence there, then try and come and take me then, uh!

…Sahara started getting an ego over what was going on…So, she had to calm herself down…All she could do, was sigh…

"My Princess has a valid point, did you not hear the words from His Majesty, the Emperor?" Matthew asked.

All the maids that had wanted to surround Sahara, all kowtowed immediately, 'Your Majesty' and 'Please forgive this servant'…

Blah, blah, blah…

"Punish them!" The emperor spat out these words. He, of course, didn't miss what the Empress had just done. He had no doubts at the beginning, but now, they seemed to be growing like vines. If Miss Rolland was in fact a virgin, then wouldn't all this be made up? Then, with the maids so pressuring as they were...Would that mean something else was going on!?

This will not do!

What guts they have to openly scheme in front of this King!

Sahara leaned against Matthew and cheekily smiled at Miss Haves...

"You are an enchantress! She will destroy the Second Prince! Your Majesty! Please let me safeguard the Second Prince from her!" Miss Haves even let a tear go down her cheek, completely showing worry...Another act...Or was it?

Sahara put her head from side to side, in wonder to whether it was an act or not, making Matthew tighten his hold around her and let out a quiet, little chuckle.

"This King, has more than one Prince, and since you are so eager to marry, Miss Haves, then perhaps I will let you achieve that goal!"

"Imperial Physician May and Nanny Hill are here, Your Majesty." Eunuch Han called out loudly.

"Very well, have Miss Rolland be checked then." The emperor waved, and they took Sahara away, Matthew only letting go of her reluctantly.

Matthew wasn't happy that things had gotten this far. It wasn't good to be checked, especially if you weren't a virgin. It meant doubts had been cast upon you...But…Why had it come to the point that she had to be checked!? This ‘act’ had indeed been thoroughly planned!

"It's ok, my son, this King won't accept people saying bad things upon Sahara...You're Princess." The emperor said, putting his hand on Matthew's shoulder.

Matthew smiled and nodded. He really was the better man! "You have to keep your promise! Emperor father!"

Smiling, the Emperor let out a small laugh, "Then, you must call this King that from now on! And never forget this father!"

“Then…Emperor father, would you think like this with your third son as well?” Matthew asked, hesitantly.

The emperor looked back at Matthew a little shocked.

Giving a light smile to the Emperor, Matthew continued, “Third Prince Felix, is now of the same age as me, when this Prince had married, but I think he is to stay inside the royal palace.”

Thinking these words through, the emperor stayed silent, and Matthew continued, “Emperor father, show Prince Felix your love by making him the next Crowned Prince. Start taking him to court…”

Matthew stopped, seeing the emperor furrow his brows.

It wasn’t just something he’d thought of now, Matthew had thought of this for a while, and now that the topic of Prince Felix had come up, he had added this. What he had just stated to the emperor was Matthew’s ploy to get himself completely away from being in line for the throne. He didn’t want to be known as the Crowned Prince and even worse, become the next Green Haven Emperor! If he could get Felix to become the Crowned Prince, then, hopefully, Matthew was free to roam as he felt like or…As his Princess felt like!
