"Once Upon a time there was a magestic king who lived with his queen and his noble brother in a colourful Kingdom where music and art were celebrated. The king did not precee having a child but he lives in a enchanted land where all things were possible. In time, he was blessed with a beautiful baby daughter for whom he wished only peace and happiness. Still the king has demons who pursuit him. There was a ruthless beast who wanted to take the kingdom for her own. Armed with a pack of untamed creatures, she drove the other magically beings from the land and there was a wicked sorcerious with enchanted stones that weakend the king every full moon. Seeing the shadow his enemy cast upon his home the king was driven to send his beloved princess away. Convincing all who remained that she was forever lost. The king in his sorrow turned away from the world the castle closed its doors and the Kingdom fell. Some say that the only light that shines in the castle illuminates the shadow of the once mighty king in the room meant for his child. But as the ruthless beast took cruel over the fallen kings relm little did they know that he, the Queen and his brother would not rest until their enemies were vanquished. For they believed that one day they would heal their Kingdom and bring their princess home so that she might live happily ever after."

Everything has been quiet ever since Klaus and Hayley sent their daughter away. Hayley is always gone in the bayou doing god knows what and Klaus is always painting angrily. I have to admit it hurts, since Klaus told me to go after he sent his daughter away, he's been pushing me away more than ever.

Every night I dream of what happened, of how we left things.

Me and Elijah walk by Klaus' room, when a canvas gets thrown in front of me so I back away. I look down at it, "Well he seems to be doing well," I hear an amused chuckle from Elijah.

He bends down picking it up and walking into the room, "I suppose we have to call this your white period."

"I'm missing a crucial colour in my pallet that of my enemies blood," Klaus said turning around.

"Well I recommend a venishan red with a dash of rush," Elijah says causing me to let out a laugh from outside his room. Me and Elijah have grown really close, like my brother. He's helped distract me a lot with everything.

"It's been months! I've appeared to our plan! Sit and do nothing, sell our grief! And now my child is safely away and another full moon is upon us! Another night of pathetic weakness! As the moonlight rings steal my strength! The inertia is killing me. I need to act. I-I need- I need to spill blood." He says looking at Elijah.

"Well then, you'll be pleased to know I've located the last of the twelve rings forged with your blood," He told him.

"Then it's time," Klaus whispers happily.

"And none too soon. I'm concerned about Hayley," Elijah states while Klaus tenses at her name.

"She looks well enough," He says turning around.

"She looks no better than you brother. Now If the two of you treat each other as more than just passing acquaintances-" Klaus interrupts Elijah.

"She has you to help her," He says.

"Sadly, like you, the father of her child, she prefers to fight her demons alone," Elijah whispers sadly as I sigh and walk out of the compound.

I met with Davina after. We went to the record store, "Here you go, girls. Now sometime your gonna have to give me the low down on why you so hooked on ancient Iceland folk music," Joe told us.

Me and Davina laughed, "It's for someone else," She told him.

"I sure hope so," He said as he laughs with us as I wrap my arms around Davina.

"Oh come one Joe! I would never let my daughter here listen to anything like this," We both laugh as I see a boy smiling at Davina walking out the door and she smiles back but it soon falls as Oliver walks in.

"Hey there cutie," He smiles and takes the record from her hands.

"Don't call her that," I snap angrily from my spot beside her moving in front of her protectively.

"So I heard that you ditched your coven. It's too bad that other harvest girl, Cassie, she has been super helpful to all us wolves," He said looking through a record.

"She's making you moonlight rings, Oliver, I wouldn't call that helpful I'd call that an alliance," She said taking the record from him.

"Well you can call it whatever you want as long as we don't have to turn on the full moon anymore works for me. Look I'd take off if I were you. Things are about to get a little ugly in here. Hey y'all stores closed! Get out now!" Oliver said to everyone.

I looked to Davina, "Leave okay. Go now," She looked around but the look in my eyes told her to be safe, so she left.

"Hey, what are you doing?" Joe asked.

"It's Joe Dalton right? You see, I've been studying up on this store and uh stable of the quarter for 90 years run by you, your daddy and then his daddy before him," Oliver says.

"That's right," Joe replies as I raise my eyebrows.

"Yeah, you see the thing is Joe, there just ain't many photos of anyone in your family but you," Oliver told Joe holding up a photo.

"Oliver don't!" I say as Joe vamp speeds to the door but gets stopped by werewolves, "Stop! Stop it now!" A wolf was about to bite Joe so I gave every wolf a terrible headache, "Joe go now!" He sped off. "Hasn't anyone taught you manners and to never mess with a hybrid?"

After that and my run in with two very annoying Guerrera wolves who have been following me, I left to the compound.

"Hello! Klaus! Elijah!" I shout. I narrowed my eyes. I start walking up the stairs but suddenly stopped and felt a presence behind me, "Klaus," I whispered as I swallowed harshly and closed my eyes for a second. I opened my eyes and turned around and he was gone. I sigh and continue walking up. "Klaus, I know your here somewhere, we need to talk."

"He doesn't wish to see you," Elijah announced sadly. I jumped from his voice and turned towards him.

"Elijah. Where the hell did you come from?" I asked out of breath while holding a hand to my chest.

"Aren't you the one who is trespassing?" He teases. "He doesn't care much for conversation these days and he certainly wouldn't care by the fact you put yourself in danger by coming here," He walked up and told me with a serious concerned voice.

"I'm already in danger, Elijah! I have Guerra's following me like it's a police state, the city is being run by gangsters and no ones doing anything. My dad took them out like 100 years ago without any of you. Can't you do something?" I rambled desperately.

"Thank you for coming, Maddison," He said moving so i can leave. I huff and started walking but stopped and turned around.

"I know your family is grieving but I know you know the rumors that My dad killed the baby are obviously incorrect. So if you want help taking down the Guerrera's, you have a weapon just across the river just waiting to be fired. Use it." I demand walking away.

"I like her spirit," Elijah smiled watching me leave.

"So do I," Klaus said standing next to him watching me go with a longing look.

"Dude, come on. This is, like, the 20th group I've brought you." Josh told my dad with a tired look as I chuckle.

"Yeah dad. I mean, there has to be a keeper in here somewhere." I shrug looking at everyone.

"I'll be the judge of that." Dad says as I roll my eyes at him. He motions josh to go with his eyes and josh walks away as I furrow my eyebrows.

"I know you're all wondering how you got here. Don't worry about that for now. Instead, I want you to think about your lives." My dad walks in front of one of the guys and compels him. "Don't be afraid. Remember when you were a kid and you felt like anything was possible, and then you grew up, and things didn't turn out like you planned, but still there was that part inside of you that would dream. Maybe you wanted strength, maybe you wanted to be a part of something, something bigger than yourselves."

My eyes train on the girl who my dad stands in front of. "Maybe you wanted to be a fighter, have something worth fighting for. Maybe some of you even wanted to live forever. Well, you can have it, all of it, because that's what being a vampire's all about. Don't be afraid. What do you have to fear? When you can do this?" Dad grabs the other guy he just compelled and threw him up at the building, where there was s giant hole in the wall, where josh stood there and caught him.

"I know. Pretty cool, right?" I hear josh and giggle as he smiles and pats the guys chest.

"When you leave here, you'll forget this, but somewhere deep down, you'll know that the offer still exists to join me. Be like me, and only then will you find your way back here because you want it, because you need it." Dad looks in the girls eyes before the three of us walk into his loft.

"My money's on the rocker chick." Josh states as I smirk and nod in agreement.

"I wouldn't bet on it. Be lucky to get one from that group." My dad says walking to his alcohol.

I slap my dads arm. "Stop being so negative. Your ruining my fun mood."

"How can you tell? They all seem tough. What are you looking for?" Josh asks shaking his head.

"I'm not looking for tough guys, Josh." Dad smiles and starts pouring us drinks.

"He's looking for warriors." I say softly thinking of Thierry.

"What's the difference?" He asks.

Before anyone can say anything I hear a voice behind us, a voice I've been wanting to hear for a while. "A warrior fights for what they believe in." All three of us turn to see Klaus in the doorway walking closer. "A warrior fights for his family."

"We have the Guerra's where we want them, we have them waiting, we have them worried and now we know their an army with no defenceless against an original," Klaus says walking in.

"We don't know that for certain," Elijah responds.

"I'm willing to gamble," Klaus retorts.

"It's too risky, the stake didn't just disappear, someone has it," Elijah raises his voice.

"One enemy at a time, in the end we'll slay them all," Klaus sits down on the chair and gasps leaning back.

"Klaus," I say worriedly taking a step, I know he's in pain, he shakes his head at me not looking me in the eyes as I sigh. I walk away back to Elijah who looks at him.

"Tonight we just have to plant the right seeds and for that we need help," Klaus tells us.

Hayley joined us soon after, "We're taking the original Twelve rings. Now four of them sit on the hands on the Guerra brothers, one on Oliver and one on Francesca, Three with the home security detail and the rest scattered amongst her lackey's. Now each ring is distinguishable by its setting, Gauche like those that wear them," Elijah says walking around.

"If they believe they can get their hands on the stake then they will come for me when I'm weak, each ring you retrieve will strengthen me but i will still be at a disadvantage," Klaus says looking at Elijah.

"Yes ergo any hope of our success ends upon us all working together. The two of you can no longer afford to retreat to separate corners," Elijah tells Hayley and Klaus.

Klaus looks down before standing up and walking to Hayley, "This is our fight. Are you ready for battle, Hayley?" He asks.

"Just promise me that Francesa doesn't come out of this alive," She responds.

"Her head will be delivered to you on a silver platter, little wolf," He smiles at her.

"Ill deal with the last piece of the puzzle," Elijah says walking out.

"Wait up Elijah!" I sigh following him but before I do I look over at Klaus but he still doesn't look at me. I look down and continue to follow Elijah.

Me and Elijah arrive at the house Francesca is hold up in. Elijah takes care of one wolf guard while I wipe the other ones head right off, causing the blood to splatter across the window.

I smiled in success while Elijah just looks at me and I shrug, "I deserve to be dramatic Elijah, I haven't let out my anger in months."

A few more guards come out as i smile, waving my bloody hand and Elijah puts his hand in his pocket and speaks, "Good Evening," He says smiling also. I look at Elijah and wait for him to say when but he just looks at me in return, "Ladies first."

I turn to them as my eyes glow and veins appear and attack. I rip one of their hearts out and tear into the other ones neck, taking the ring off their fingers as Elijah breaks their necks and rips ones heart out, also taking a ring off his finger.

I walk up to the door with Elijah behind me as I roll the head through the door causing it to open. "Hello, your friend here had a little bit of an issue," I smirk as they look terrified but soon Francesca smiles.

"Its fine, they cant come in," She says with a smug smile, looking at us.

"Cant we?" Elijah asks.

She laughs, "Don't bluff me, you cant win."

"You mobsters all suffer from such hubris. Do you know that Al Copone once thought himself invincible back in his day," Elijah starts taking out his handkerchief and wiping his hands off before handing it to me, "And in the end, he was sentenced to the wretched filth of Alcatraz, for which of his atrocities? Anyone?" He asked.

No one answered him so I spoke up, "A failure to pay his taxes," I smiled.

"I suppose the devils in the details, isn't it?" He looked to Francesca and smiled looking around, "My, My, you have a beautiful home here."

"I agree, i was so pleased when the city took Elijah and I's suggestion to protect it's heritage status and invoke eminent domain," I raised my eyebrows and looked at Francesca who happen to lose her smile and her face replaced with fear once again.

"So i suppose that means that this house belongs to the public, and as such anyone can enter," Elijah says as he stands straight with a smile.

I smirked and whispered, "Without invitation," Elijah looks at Francesa, then to the ground putting one foot inside and then stepping in entirely. I walk in after Elijah and looking at Francesca, "I would run if I were you," I snapped one of her brothers necks with my magic and looked to the others feeling my eyes glow from my magic, "Whose next?"

*

I walk in the Compound with Elijah and go up to Klaus' art room to see him painting with his enemies blood. Literally. "I'm still not at full strength, which of the rings are unaccounted for?" He asks not looking up.

"Only one. I must say the brothers fought valuably before Miss. Guerra escaped, "Elijah responded.

Klaus asked finally looking up, "You let her get away?"

"Not exactly," I told him.

My dad was sat on the couch and I run my fingers through my wet hair when Josh walked in looking worried. "Marcel, Maddison. They got joe."

My dad sighed and looked down before responding. "Joe knew what he was getting himself into."

"So, What? 'Hey. Come on. Join our team. Your reward will be your death'?" Josh says.

My dad puts down whatever he was reading and leaned forward. "Here's what you got to understand. Vamps like joe, they know what it feels like to be in the battle and what it is to sit on the sidelines. Joe sat it out for a long time, but when the fight came to him, he got back in because he'd rather die on his feet than live on his knees. That's a warrior."

"But what are we fighting for?" Josh asks in a desperate tone.

"Us? We're fighting for our home, for the dignity of the vampires who were run out of there." My dad says and stands up looking at Josh. "The question is what are you fighting for?"

"That's the problem. I have no idea. Look. The werewolves took over the quarter. We beat them back today, they'll fight us back tomorrow. It's nuts! And all for a few measly blocks of real estate?" Josh exclaims in slight frustration.

"I was born here in a time far more shameful than now, and even then, this city was worth fighting for. My blood runs through the gutters of this city along with the blood of my closest friends and my daughter, and, Yeah, Klaus and I fought side by side against the Guerreras, but, you know, before long, he's gonna want to be the king of the wolves. His blood runs deep here, too." My dad argues.

"Do you hear that?" I ask Josh, pointing to the where the record player was, "That is the first, last, and only album that my brother Thierry Vanchure ever made. It could of only been made here. We're not fighting for real estate, Josh. We're fighting for the soul of the city."

"Hello?" We all look to the door to see the rocker chick from earlier walk in. "Hi. I'm sorry. This is weird. I just kind of found my way here." Me and Josh smile at each other before looking to my dad and see him smile as well before looking back at her.
