《The Criminals》Gathering information - Part 5

The next day, Alex, when he finished some deliveries with the pizzas and comes back to the business to wait for more orders to deliver, he watched at the TV who is put in the kitchen and he is watching the Ruby City News Channel.
"And now, we will deliver to you about the criminals who have started a gang war yesterday at our beautiful Docks." says the reporter at that channel news while he is showing some footage about the gang war he got broke out yesterday. "Some of those gangsters got arrested, but their leaders are still free, at least that's what some of them say, but they are probably doing this that to fool the cops, but our cops aren't that dumb to trust this lie. And now, our security cameras have recorded some footage about some tow cars who were running away from the docks, and those three tow cars have been identified that they belong to the Manager Wayne Joshua who owns "OTOs Dealership, and who is now in the hospital because some of Black Dragons gangs have beaten the manager of that dealership, but his condition is really bad and he could die at any moment, but the doctor of that hospital has everything under control."
When Alex was looking at the news, he got another delivers, but these deliveries have to be sent to the house where Minoru is located. Our main character almost forgot about Minoru, and the plan to assassinate him, but now, he will go back and he will probably send him to do some dirty work because there is no reason why a millionaire would want pizza delivered at his house if he has his own chef.
Alex rides the pizza delivery scooter and heads to the villa, which is less than four miles from the business where the main character works to earn his living. As he drove his scooter to that Yakuza leader's villa, he thinks of that old gentleman who lives in that motorcycle club, whether he managed to capture and eliminate the current driver of the Yakuza clan, or is still trying to kill him, but I can't because he's lucky. In any case, Alex must attach himself to his mission, to gather as much valuable information about Minoru as possible.

After a few minutes of driving, Alex arrives at Minoru's property, he stops the scooter in front of his gate, and two members of the Yakuza clan come to Alex to take the pizza from the back, and of those Japanese gangsters tells Alex.
"Look, kid. Our boss isn't at home right now. He is at the airport and he has to catch a plane."
"Oh, really?" asks Alex surprised at that Yakuza guardian. "Where exactly?"
"Hey!" says the other gangster looking angry at Alex. "Do not tell him Sasuke. You know our boss does not trust news guys!"
"What do you think he can do, Joro?" asks the guardian named Joro to the guardian whose name is Sasuke. "Anyway... He is going to Emerald City, an island city like this one but much closer to Japan. That place is the place where our driver is having his vacation."
"I see." says Alex to that guy, and then he thought to himself. "This information is really valuable!", and then he looks at the guardian named Joro who was about to pay Alex for the service he has done. "It's not necessary to pay."
"It is free?" asks the guy named Joro.
"It is." says Alex because this information can cover those fifty-five dollars bill.
"Good kid." says the guy Joro smiling at Alex while he and the guy named Sasuke are entering the house with those three boxes of pizza with pepperoni and salami.
Alex turns on the bike and he is heading right to the "Luigi's Restaurant" to tell Chris that he has to send some useful information to Hajima and the guys at that Bikers Club. He arrives back at the business he is working on, he says to Chris what was happening at the last delivery, and Chris was letting Alex go there and send the information to Hajima. When Alex left the Restaurant by using the backdoor, he is getting in his car, the one he has "accomplished" yesterday, and he is driving for fifteen minutes to that Bikers Club.

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
