《The Irregular At The Merthyr Academy Of Magic》11 Merthyr Academy Entrance Ceremony [4]

There was still a remaining time left, and he was mused by Natalie. She was talking all kinds of funny talks while laughing. Although her laughter was somewhat out of place, but after hearing the cold warning from the girl before it wasn't loud enough to draw any chilly stares again.
After she let out all of her steam, Natalie began the conversation anew by
bringing up what must have been the most discussed topic within this auditorium.
“Hey, Grey, what do you think about the sudden change of rules in Merthyr Academy?”
“What?”
“I mean the sudden change of rules! It was the first time did I see both Magic Apprentice & Outcasts students gathering together. But most of all, looking carefully the Outcasts students have a high number and many Outcasts students I have seen before have a magic power above any Magic Apprentice student's.”
Hearing Natalie's statement, he didn't feel anything strange. All of the information for becoming a Merthyr Academy student was generated randomly. The enrollment ceremony that was taking a place in the auditorium was Seventy-percent filled with Outcasts students. More, the Outcast students entering the auditorium have magic power almost surpassing many Magic Apprentice students. Thinking this over, the Magic Apprentice students who were still despising the Outcasts students for their low proficiency in magic power have their mouths almost shut's.
“I felt the same, I thought I have seen many Outcasts students rather than Magic Apprentice ones.” Grey nodded at Natalie's thoughts.
“Well, it's absurd to say. But when I was entering Merthyr Academy I had already heard these rumors on the internet. Saying that Merthyr Academy was changing its previous rules & policies from this year around and it had already tested these rules on senior students. But I thought it was just a piece of fake news but seeing it now with my own eyes, I think the rumors were probably true.”

“Well, I barely made it in the first place, with my magic power,” Grey murmured in his heart.
“Well then, I guess these rules were already led by Merthyr Academy, and being supervised by the Government, means they all be pretty safe, right?”
With a slight concern, Natalie looks around the auditorium. The Auditorium has almost packed with students wearing nervous looks on their faces. Although the Merthyr Academy was a private institute being observed by Government it was not so obedient to it. Of course, there was nothing in life that this event will go so smoothly will all Outcasts & Magic Apprentice students mixing together. Similar to Natalie, other students in the auditorium shifted their gazes with nervousness.
“Perhaps…”
Honestly, though, Grey wasn’t that nervous. With his Magic being lower than any average Outcasts student he was not so worried about any big events happening. Those were his honest thoughts, but he didn’t give a voice to her.
..............
……However, when he was discussing with Natalie, he heard the sound of the
speakers are being turned on.
“Ah, looks like the entrance ceremony will begin soon.”
Soon after, the sound of the microphone test, -- [Ah……test, test] echoed
throughout the auditorium.
[Everyone, silence. We will be starting the entrance ceremony shortly. I Erick Martin the head of the Merthyr Academies Teacher's Association will be in charge of this Entrance Ceremony.]
“Ergh. It hurts!” Natalie who was still carefree, talking with Grey suddenly put both of her hands on her ears. The sound was so loud imbued with sound [Vibration Pulveriser] magic that almost caused everyone's ears to go deaf. Making some weak students under level 1 heads spin in dizziness.

Black Wind, White Lotus
In this world, there are haves and have nots. The former are pureblooded humans, some of whom are capable of manipulating qi, the mysterious energy that flows through every living creature, to miraculous results that defy the laws of nature and physics. Wen Feili was one such cultivator. However, she allied with the have nots- the anthropomorphic hybrids incapable of channeling qi-and dabbled in forbidden demonic arts, seeking to change the very composition of reality. This did not end well for her, and she was consumed by her own flames. A decade later, far in the northwestern mountains, her daughter Wen Fengli is working as a lowly servant of the minor Shuangshan sect. In between sweeping the floor and avoiding bullies, she secretly trains with a wooden sword, hoping to become a warrior cultivator at some point in the future. However, since she's part-human, part-wolf, it's just a pipe dream. ....or so she bitterly thought. However, one day a mysterious amulet that belonged to her mother falls into her hands. A deranged old master, a terrible conspiracy, a mysterious past? None of that matters to tomboyish wolfgirl, who only seeks to become stronger. She embarks on a journey of adventure and self-discovery, towards the mysterious southern lands where pure demi-humans are said to live...as spectre of war once again envelops the world of man. This is a Chinese-themed fantasy story set in a fictional world. You can classify it as xianxia, if you wish, but it's a rather low fantasy variant; the heavenly realm is silent, no one reached immortality in generations, and magical artifacts of old are locked away and feared. Magical beasts and spirits have been driven to the corners of civilisation, and "ordinary" abilities such as flying or controlling swords through telekinesis are considered spectacular feats. The main plot of this book revolves around a kemonomimi girl who seeks power, no matter the cost. This story also features multiple character pov, and will not always follow the perspective of the mc- there are two major plotlines, one connected to conspiracy and war ongoing in the political background of the presented world, and the other focusing on the main character's physical and metaphorical journey. The Core And The Wardens of Eternity
What is the Core, they asked me... It's the light that pushes the darkness away, a bastion of justice, a safe keeper of life. It grooms love and tolerance, embraces science, fights ignorance, sentences it to die a slow and tragic death. The Core... it's something that can't be destroyed for destroying it is to terminate the time and space itself. When the stuck-in-a-dark-age world of Zanria goes offline, the Core sends one of its experienced agents to find out what is going on and to try to reestablish a mysteriously severed connection. However, all his training and experience might come way short as the world sinks in war and chaos with different races and clans fighting for the Star of Bardan, the ward rumored to possess enough supernatural power to create and destroy entire worlds. *** I just changed the name of the series, from 'the Nexus' to 'the Core'. Somehow it just sounds more right to me. This is the first story, and it has a medieval fantasy setting. But, eventually, this is going to turn into Isekai series with elements of LitRPG. So, my future books might include worlds with advanced technologies that might be more in SciFi, including Steampunk, genre. The first book might start slow, but after a few chapters, it should all be properly set up, and by then you should get the feel of how it will all flow. Also, I plan to introduce different story threats that should spread out and criss-cross in the future. Hopefully, I will not complicate it too much, and that it will all read good. I am planning to continue to add chapters to the main storyline here, but I'm also starting a new story threat in the Core series called The Recordings of Raan. There is also a side story The Memoires of Eisen that's exclusive on Patreon for those who would like to support me.
