Katsuki couldn't sleep after Shoto left, his home felt even colder than usual.

It felt darker, emptier.

Katsuki hated it. Shoto really was the light in his life. Without Shoto everything seemed to blur into joyless blobs.

Katsuki sat a good half an hour crying before he picked up his phone and called Mina. The moment he heard her voice he couldn't help but sob. He couldn't even get a word out as his emotions overcame him once more, loud and ugly sobs never ending. And at the moment Mina heard his cries, Katsuki was pretty sure she teleported herself and the rest of the squad to Katsuki's home. Didn't even feel like time passed as he sat there and cried. Didn't feel like a minute later until he felt himself be scoped up by his squad members.

"What did he do?" Mina asked as she parted his now wet bangs from his eyes.

"Why do you assume it's Todobro?" Kirishima asked as he helped wipe away the tears on Katsuki's face.

Mina scoffed, "I know the sobs of a broken heart. Now tell me what happened hun? Do we need to bust his balls?"

Katsuki laughed sadly through his tears, enjoying the warmth of his friends. His friends smiled, at least they could still get a smile on his face.

They finished drying up Katsuki's face, letting him calm down before they continued to figure out what was going on.

"I-I don't think he loves me anymore." Katsuki muttered as he let his head rest against Sero's chest.

"What makes you say that?"

"He never wants to hang out anymore, I don't even remember the last time we did something with just the two of us. And last night we kinda got into it, he asked if he should pick between me and the nerd and I said maybe he should. He didn't hesitate to walk out that door." Katsuki explained, tears welling up in his eyes again.

"Hey, hey! No crying over a boy. They are stupid!" Mina said as she wiped more of his tears.

Kaminari nodded with a goofy smile, "Yeah!"

"The stupidest!" Kirishima agreed, he and Kaminari fist bumping.

Sero laughed, "Total dumbasses."

"I love you guys." Katsuki muttered, his eyes struggling to stay open.

"We love you too, Kats. Now go to sleep hun, we got you." Mina suggested as she ruffled the blonde's hair.

Katsuki fell asleep not long after, his tear stricken face was red and puffy.

"Imma kill that bastard." Mina huffed as she watched Katsuki sleep.

Kirishima smiled softly and hugged Mina, "We all are."

Mina sighed, how dare Shoto do such a thing? She was upset, upset that Katsuki was upset, upset at Shoto's stupidity, upset at everything.

"Kiri? Kami?" Mina spoke softly not to wake to sleep blonde.

"Yeah?"

"Whaddup?"

"You two change the locks, we are hitting that bastard where it hurts."

Kaminari nodded, "Yes Ma'am!"

Kirishima smiled a toothy grin, "Got it!"

"Good, get to work then. Sero and I will watch over Kats."

The two males left behind a sleeping Katsuki, a pissed off Mina and Sero.

"Why aren't you mad?" Mina huffed as she glanced at the calm Sero.

"I am."

Mina rolled her eyes, "You don't seem like it!"

Sero shrugged, "I'm just waiting for more of what Katsuki has to say, he loves that man more than anything and if he wants to break up with him then I support him and if wants to try and work things out, I'll support him. I just want him happy, and I hate to see him cry."

Mina sighed, "I still want to kill that bastard."

Sero nodded with an reassuring smile, "I think fucking with him should be enough, I don't think Katsuki would want to see him dead even if they broke up."

Mina lauged sadly, "I know... he's obsessed with him and I don't even think that idiot knows it."

"They both suck at talking about things, I'm kinda surprised this was their first fight." Sero explained as he continued to hug Katsuki close.

Mina rubbed her face with a sigh,"I know... I didn't think those too could be such romantic saps... oh dear... it's really gonna kill Katsuki if they break up... how do you think Todoroki feels right now? What's he thinking?"

"That man will always be a mystery to me. He probably doesn't even think he did anything wrong, just the heat of the moment. Once he realizes what he did wrong he'll probably crumble and then they'll make up and everything will be okay!" Sero spoke optimistically, thinking on the bright side.

Mina sighed and shook her head, "You haven't had your heart broken yet?"

Sero laughed softly, "Actually I have. I had a crush on Kats during school but seeing him so lovey dovey with Todo made me realize that it shouldn't matter what I feel but what he feels. So yeah, I'm upset and yeah I understand but I'm just looking out for him. I'm just making sure he never stops smiling."

Mina's eyes widened, "You-"

Sero shrugged, "I didn't want to alter anything. I didn't want to affect Kats and Shoto's relationship."

"Aww- Hanta you're so sweet!" Mina squealed softly before carefully punching Sero's cheek.

Sero blushed and shook his head lightly, "Yeah yeah, shush you are gonna wake him up."

Not long after, Kirishima and Kaminari returned, with a bit more bags than Mina was expecting.

Mina eyed the bags, "What's with all the bags?"

Kirishima smiled his toothy grin, "Gotta get snacks man, gotta get snacks."

Mina laughed slightly, "Just shut up and help me change the locks, Kami switch Kats keys."

Kaminari nodded and searched for Katsuki keys, while he was doing that Kirishima and Mina got to work. Sero had brought Katsuki to the room so he wouldn't wake up to the noise they were making, staying with him to keep him company in case he wakes up.

They were all in full protective mode, and they really wanted to mess around with Shoto.

About an hour after snacking and arguing, Mina and Kirishima finally changed the locks.

Mina spoke up as she stood from the ground, "I would rather work with Kami than you."

Kirishima scoffed, "Funny, I would say the same!"

"Guys? I still haven't found the key." Kaminari called from the kitchen.

Kirishima laughed, "Did you check his key ring?"

"Oh! Found it!"

"Hurry and change it then! I wanna go lay down with Kats and Hanta!" Mina yelled as she began walking towards the bedroom.

Kaminari panicked, "I'm going! I'm going! Wait for me!"

Katsuki woke up tangled in the arms of his squad. He wasn't quite sure whose arms were whose but what he did know was that there were way too many in his face.

"The next person to poke me in the eye will lose theirs!" Katsuki mumbled as he shoved one or two people off his bed.

"Kats..." Mina whined as she stood up from the floor, helping Kaminari who as well fell.

Katsuki held back a laugh, "Not my fault you people sleep like animals!"

"Your bed is so comfy though!" Kaminari whined as he jumped into it, waking up Sero who fell out of the bed suddenly.

"Fuck..." Sero complained as he rubbed his head.

Kaminari snorted, "My bad."

"What are we gonna do today?" Mina yelled cheerfully, the loud noise hurting early morning ears.

"Nothing." Katsuki muttered as he put a pillow over his face, hoping to block out the noise.

"What are we gonna make Kats do today?" Mina re asked, in her favor, more than Katsuki's.

"Wanna crash the new hero agency?" Kaminari asked as he sprawled out against Katsuki and Kirishima.

Katsuki sighed, "That's where Sho is, he and that nerd wanted to see it."

Mina gasped, "Oh we definitely need to go! Gotta crash it! Bakusquad style!"

"Hell yeah!" Kaminari cheered, as he hopped off the bed to Mina.

"I don't want to ruin it for him..." Katsuki muttered from under the pillow.

"You've gone soft, Kats!" Mina teased as she loomed over him, Kaminari loosely hung off of Mina with the same subtle smirk on his face.

"I have not!" Katsuki yelled as he threw the pillow at Mina and Kaminair, Mina dodged it yet poor Kaminair got the pillow straight to the face.

"Have too!" Mina continued to argue, Kaminari laid sprawled out on the floor, forgotten and in pain.

Katsuki groaned, "Fuck you!"

Mina laughed, "Whatever you say softie!"

Katsuki growled and sat up swiftly, causing the half awake redhead to as well fall out of the bed. Katsuki ignored his whines and glared at Mina, "Fine! Fucking get dresssed, we are crashing it!"

"Yay!" Kirishima said through a yawn as he stood up from the floor, helping Sero up.

Mina cheered, "Yay! Katsuki's clothes!"

"Yay, Kats gonna pay for breakfast!" Kaminari spoke up from the floor.

Katsuki rolled his eyes, "I didn't say I was getting breakfast!"

"My head still hurts." Sero mumbled as he rubbed his head.

Kaminari smiled and jumped up from the floor, "You are gonna deny an injured man food?"

Sero shook his head, "I'm not hungry, don't use me man!"

Kaminari pouted, "Ugh fine, Kat will get lunch! We'll skip breakfast!"

"Keep dreaming."

Mina scoffed and began to raid Katsuki's closet.

"My, my. I might have to borrow your clothes more often." Mina said as she looked at all of Katsuki's clothes.

"I don't wear them anyway, take what you want. But hurry up, the conference starts soon." Katsuki muttered as he threw on one of Shoto's hoodies.

Kirishima grinned ear to ear, "You heard the man, hurry up!"

Katsuki sighed, he never wore his clothes despite the large amount he had. No, he usually wore his boyfriend's clothes, so most of his just sat in his closet never to be worn. Katsuki sighed once more, if he and Shoto broke up, he'd probably have to go back to wearing his own, so maybe he shouldn't have given Mina or any of his other friends free will.

Yet at the moment, Katsuki didn't want to think about everything that could go wrong, all he wanted to think about was proving to his asshole friends that he wasn't a softie.

.

.

.

"Hurry up Kats! We are gonna be late!" Mina yelled as they got closer and closer to the grand opening.

Katsuki groaned, "I don't give a shit."

Mina huffed, "Kiri, get him!"

"Up we go!" Kirishima said he sat Katsuk on his shoulders.

"Put me down asshole!" Katsuki yelled as he began to hit Kirishima's head.

Kirishima just laughed and began walking faster, "Nope! Plus you can make fun of the new hero agency better from up here!"

Katsuki huffed, "Whatever."

They reached the opening just in time, standing in the pro hero section just to get a closer view. Katsuki didn't need a closer view, yet Mina insisted.

"You called me soft just to rile me up and now I'm stuck here with a bunch of assholes." Katsuki muttered as he glared at Mina who only winked in response.

Katsuki sighed, "Kill me."

Shoto's mind was running on autopilot. He wasn't quite sure what happened last night, it was all a blur, memories he pushed back, ones he didn't want to face.

Izuku had tried to cheer him up but Shoto insisted there was nothing wrong. Was there something wrong? Shoto didn't really choose Izuku or at least in his head he didn't. He was just upset, he and Katsuki were both upset and they both needed fresh air... it was the right thing to do, right? Give it time?

Shoto just continued to stare at the opening venue, his bones ached and his head was killing him. It was weird to not sleep in his bed, it was oddly cold. Shoto could easily warm up, yet last night he couldn't. And weirdly enough, the cold never bothered him but last night it did. It seeped into his body, riddled in his chest until it became tight, a pang to his chest.

Shoto heard Izuku yet he wasn't listening. No he mind was somewhere else. Yet even when he was deep in his own thoughts, he still heard the beautiful song of laughter. Shoto looked to his left to see the Bakusquad, Mina and Kaminari loosely hanging around each other, Sero leaning against Kirishima and Kirishima seemed to be... holding Katsuki on shoulders. The blonde was laughing at Sero who had wrapped tape around Mina and Kaminari legs, the both of them holding onto each for dear life as they tried to balance with each other.

Shoto always loved Katsuki laugh, it was the first sound to make Shoto smile. It was the sound that always made Shoto prideful when he was the one to make Katsuki shed such a beautiful sound.

Shoto watched as Katsuki enjoyed himself with his squad, the same spin in chest from the night before began to flood his body. Shoto hadn't heard Katsuki laugh in what felt like ages. The only laughs he remembers are Tenya's, Izuku and Ochako. The ones he heard almost every other day. It hurt to know Katsuki's squad could make Katsuki smile so easily, with little to know effort.

Was that why Katsuki was mad? Was that why they fought?

The jealousy that riddled his bones, he was sure that Katsuki felt the same the night before. And for Shoto to just walk out on him? To let Katsuki down when he was feeling vulnerable? Shoto must have shattered Katsuki to pieces when he just walked out, didn't even text Goodnight, didn't tell him he loved him. Treated him as less when Katsuki was more than Shoto even deserved.

Shoto can remember the last squad hang out he had yet he couldn't remember the last time he kissed Katsuki's hand like he used to do, the blush on the blonde's face, the twinkle in his eyes.

Shoto watched Katsuki and his squad, ignoring the excited chitter chatter of his friend as he watched his lover with the same beautiful smirk he fell in love with so many years ago. The ceremony had started yet Shoto didn't care, all he cared about was seeing his lover happy. Whether Katsuki's happiness was with or without Shoto it made the two quirked male's hearts flutter. Katsuki deserved to be happy, even if he was happier without him.

Shoto watched as chaos began, Katsuki as his squad ruined the ceremony. Shoto watched lovingly as they did so. Katsuki and his squad were right, the new agency was only in it for the money, yet all things hero made Izuku happy so Shoto agreed to go.

Shoto watched and Katsuki called the new agency creative insults, his laughter soothed Shoto's pounding chest. He was falling in love all over again.

Suddenly Katsuki had whipped his head around, Katsuki made eye contact at Shoto who continued to stare in admiration for the blonde, a loving smile never leaving his face. Katsuki smiled back, the sense of longing in his eyes. Shoto felt guilt rise in his chest, he opened his mouth to say something yet Katsuki was gone. The blonde's squad had left, leaving the ruined ceremony faster than the speed of light.

Shoto didn't want to keep waiting, he just wanted to make things right. Not for his sake but for Katsuki's.

"So-?" Izuku began to speak but Shoto cut him off.

"Sorry Midoriya. I have something better to do. I have a boyfriend to apologize to." Shoto said before running off, leaving a confused yet smiling green haired boy as he waved off Shoto.

Shoto ran as fast as he could to his home, he was pretty sure he had knocked a couple people over yet that didn't matter. Shoto didn't care if the world stopped suddenly spinning, or if everything went gray, all he wanted to do was see his boyfriend smile again, to have the twinkle in his eyes once more.

Shoto reached the home in record time.

Shoto panted as he jiggled the door knob, it was locked. Fumbling with his keys he tried to open it once more, it wouldn't work. Shoto cursed himself as he slid against the door, sitting down with his head in between his knees.

Shoto had fucked up, he had fucked so bad Katsuki already moved on.

Shoto body aches, his face burned with hot and cold tears that ran down his face. Shoto didn't even know he was capable of crying. He hadn't done it in so long, he wasn't sure he was completely able to allow himself to let salty tears pour so effortlessly from his eyes, wetting his knees as he pathetically cried to himself.

Shoto sat there for who knows how long, he should have left, he should have let Katsuki move on and be happy without him but he couldn't get his legs to move. The world around him was blurry, his legs felt like jelly.

"Sho?"

Shoto looked up from his knees, the world was blurry yet that didn't matter as his eyes focused on the most beautiful things he had ever seen.

Shoto hiccuped over his sobs, the pain in his chest grew even more. Katsuki was gonna leave him and it was all his fault.

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry, I'm sorry." Shoto kept repeating over and over again, his breathing picking up and his eyes felt heavy.

Shoto's head felt light and his breathing got faster. And suddenly his blurry world turned to darkness, the last thing he saw was the stunning blonde who stole his heart all those years ago.

.

.

.

Shoto awoke in the bed, he tried to sit up but something was preventing him.

"Stop moving..." Katsuki whined as he held onto Shoto's waist.

Shoto nodded, "Sorry."

Suddenly Katsuki's eyes flew open, worried red eyes peered into Shoto's own. Katsuki's arms flew around Shoto's shoulders, a tight hug.

Shoto missed Katsuki's hugs.

"I thought you died, you idiot!" Katsuki cried out as he held onto Shoto.

"I'm sorry."

Katsuki ignored Shoto's apology, "Are you okay? Does anything hurt? Do you want to go to the doctors?"

"I'm sorry."

Katsuki's eyes were riddled with worry, "Stop saying sorry, tell me, please, are you okay?"

"No, no. I need you to listen, I'm sorry, I'm sorry. I understand if you never wanna talk to me again, if you break up with me. I'm sorry, and I don't know what I was thinking last night. I would always choose you. I'll never talk to them again, I'll always be with you, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I'm sorry." Shoto spoke up, tears spilling from his eyes as Katsuki held him close. Something Shoto didn't think he deserved.

"I don't want to break up with you, Sho. I would rather die than do that. I don't want you to stop hanging out with them, I just want to be able to hold your hand again. I know it's silly but I feel alone in this house even when you're here. I just want my Sho back." Katsuki whispered, his own tears cascading down his face.

Shoto sighed softly as he released himself from the hug and looked Katsuki in the eyes, "I'm sorry. I'm sorry I'm an idiot. You don't deserve my stupidity."

Katsuki smiled, the familiar twinkle in his eyes, "But you're my idiot, the idiots I fell in love with. The idiot that blindly praised my cooking and kissed my hand every time we held them. The idiot who told me good night and I love you every night, the idiot who forgot to give me my kiss last night. The idiot who bought me things just for the hell of you. You're my idiot and I love you."

Shoto smiled through his tears, he gently took Katsuki hand and kissed with ever so softly. Parted the blondes wet bangs and kissed his forehead.

"May I make up for the forgotten kiss?" Shoto whispered.

Katsuki nodded, a familiar blush on his face, "You may."

Shoto kissed Katsuki gently, butterflies riddled in each of their stomachs.

It felt like their first kiss. It more than magical.

They parted ways, holding onto each other.
