^Thoughts^
(Marinette's POV)
It was now Sunday morning and I was getting ready to leave for the airport. I put on some nice but comfortable clothes, because it was going to be a long flight. This is what I was wearing.
Once I was dressed I grabbed all of my bags and went downstairs. I had a bit of trouble as I was still sore and had to be careful of my stitches. I had also brought the miracle box but it was hidden in my bag.
I eventually made it to the bottom of the stairs. I walked to the kitchen and ate a quick breakfast. I rushed outside with my bags being as quick as possible because I couldn't be late. After a while of running with my bags, trying not to pull my stitches, and dodging any cars or people, which happened to be more than I thought. It was surprising because it was like 5 o'clock in the morning. I finally made it to school.
The whole class was meeting at the school so then we could do role call and take a bus together to the airport so we wouldn't be late or low anyone. When I arrived everyone else was already there and was about to start the role call. I walked over to my friends so they would know I was there.
When Mrs. Bustier got to my name I put my hand up and my friends said here for me considering I couldn't talk. I could feel someone staring at me so I looked around and found Lie-la glaring at me like she didn't want me to come or even be here.
After the role call we all pile into the bus. I sat at the back next to Adrien with the rest of the MPS (little reminder the MPS members are Alix, Kim, Max, Marc, Nathaniel, Adrien, Luka, Kagami, Chloe). On the way to the airport we have a conversation about what will happen in Gotham.
After a while we finally pulled up to the airport. We walked out of the bus grabbing our bags and walking to the front desk for our plane tickets. Mrs. Bustier and Lila tried to ask for the tickets under their names but it wasn't working. I pulled Adrien with me as a translator and we walked over to them.
*Tell them to try under Marinette Dupain-Cheng.* I signed to Adrien. He then translated and the lady at the desk typed it in. "Economy plane tickets for Marinette Dupain-Cheng's class. Along with 10 first class tickets for Marinette and her friends." The lady said as she handed me the tickets.
I was honestly surprised, I wasn't expecting to get first class tickets for my friends and I. I could tell the others were surprised too. Lie-la glared at me and started the crocodile tears. "Those first class tickets were supposed to be mine and Marinette stole them from me. Damiboo got me those tickets." She said through the fake tears.

"Mari trash those were Lie-la's tickets give them back." Alya said glaring at me trying to seem threatening. I just gave her one of my own glares and pretty soon she stopped glaring at me and started looking a bit uncomfortable.
*These tickets are mine not hers, they have my name on them.* I signed to her and walked away with the tickets. I walked back to my friends and handed them each a first class ticket with their name on it. We then had a conversation to pass the time for waiting for our plane.
Not too long later, our plane was called to be boarded. When we walked up to the gate I showed them my ticket and passport. I was then let on the plane and my friends followed. We got to our seats in first class and sat down.
After buckling up my seatbelt and my friends doing the same for theirs the plane took off. I listened to music, sketched some designs and played some games for the first couple of hours. Then I decided to have a nap. I shut my eyes and laid back in my seat slowly, again being careful of my stitches. I fell into a deep slumber for once with no nightmares.
A while later I was awoken by Adrien. "Marinette, we've landed. You've got to get up now." He said to me. He helped me up and grabbed my bags for me, handing them to me. We got off the plane and went to the luggage claim. I grabbed my luggage and we walked out of the airport with the rest of the class.
Outside of the airport I was surprised to see Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake, Damien Wayne and Bruce Wayne. All of them were here. All of us walked over to them. I looked at our class to see there reactions, to say they were surprised was an understatement. I think I saw Lie-la pale a little.
Mrs. Bustier walked up to them and introduced herself. She the introduced the rest of us. Then the Wayne family introduced themselves, even though they probably didn't need and introduction.
Then I heard Alya thanking Lie-la for winning the trip. "Oh my goodness girl thank you so much for getting us this trip." I rolled my eyes then glared at the two of them. I think the Wayne's must have noticed this because the next thing I knew Bruce Wayne spoke up.
"Is her name Marinette Dupain-Cheng because that is who won the competition for the trip."All of my friends looked as surprised as I felt. Lie-la and her goons turned to me. I discreetly grabbed Adrien's hand and squeezed it, he squeezed back letting me know it was okay.
I think the Wayne's noticed the whole thing because they were staring at me as if trying to figure out what was going on. Bruce was staring at me intensely as if trying to figure something out. Then I watched as his face turned to shock. I couldn't help but wonder why.

Lie-la and her goons walked over to me. Lie-la started the crocodile tears and false accusations. "Marinette, how could you. I was the one who got us this trip. Why do you have to steal the credit. I just want to be friends, why do you have to be so mean to me." I internally rolled my eyes. She was the one stealing the credit, not that it mattered anyway.
Alya walked up to me and slapped me in the face. It was so loud I think even China heard it. The Wayne's were just staring in shock of what happened. Mrs. Bustier was just standing there watching, knowing there was nothing she could do about it, otherwise she would be fired. "How could you Mari trash. Lila got the trip not you. So stop trying to steal the credit."
I just rolled my eyes and walked away. My friends followed me. I think the Wayne's were even more shocked.
(Bruce's POV)
I was staring at her with shock. ^Why did they do that to her. It was obvious that girl Lila was lying. The teacher was just watching it happen and didn't even move to stop it. That girl just got slapped in the face.^ The more I stared at the girl with midnight-blue hair, the more she looked familiar.
Then I widened my eyes in shock. ^Could it be, my long lost daughter. Could she be my long lost daughter.^ The more I stared at her the more I realised it looked like her.
^If she was truly my daughter she would not be able to speak because she is mute. I haven't seen her talk so maybe it is really her.^ I decided to check for myself so I came up with a plan to find out if she is truly my daughter.
I am going to go up to her and talk to her, I will get a DNA sample. It's settled.
(Marinette's POV)
Bruce Wayne walked up to me. "Hello, what is your name?" He asked me. *My name is Marinette.* I signed to him. He looked at me at bit happily, although I wasn't sure why. "Marinette, I don't mean to sound rude but do you know who your parents are?" He asked me, ^I have no idea where this is going but I'm going to continue.^ I thought.
*No, the couple who raise me, at the time I thought they were my parents, but then they kicked me out and said I was never there child.* I signed to him. "Well Marinette I will tell you a secret not many people know. I used to have a daughter, but she went missing at such a young age. Do you know what her name is?" He paused asking me, I shook my head. "Her name was...
Marinette." Those words shocked me. ^He had a daughter named Marinette that went missing when she was a child.^ I thought to myself. ^Could that mean, I could be his daughter?^
*Does this mean I could be your long lost daughter?* I signed to him. "Yes, I believe you could be. She was also a mute. So it makes me think it is you even more, but we could take a DNA test." He told me. I nodded my head agreeing to do the test.
After our conversation we went back to the others. ^Now that I think about it, that conversation was kind of blunt.^ I thought to myself.
Adrien asked me if I was okay. I just nodded to say I was fine. I only just noticed but my wound felt like it was flaring up. I tried not to show the pain on my face, I guess it worked because no one noticed. Or so I thought.
We soon found out that the Wayne's would be taking us to our hotel. We loaded our luggage into the limos. There were two limos, because there was not enough room in one limo for everyone.
My class got in one limo and the Wayne's in the other. Although as I was going to get in the limo with our class, I noticed Bruce waving for me to go over to him. I went over to him to see what he wanted.
"Marinette I would like for you to come in our limo, if you are okay with that." He asked me. I was honestly surprised, he wanted me to come with them. I nodded my head in agreement. *Just let me let my friends know what is happening.* I signed to him. He nodded his head.
I walked back to my class and turned to Adrien. *I'm going in the other limo with the Wayne's.* I signed to him. He nodded his head in agreement.
I went back to the other limo and climbed in. I sat in the seat opposite Bruce, but next to Dick and Jason. Tim and Damien sat on either side of Bruce.
I turned to Bruce. *If you don't mind me asking, why did you want me to come in this limo?* I signed to him. "I wanted to get to know you better." I nodded my head as if to say okay.
"Why did that girl slap you?" Damien asked me. I sighed silently knowing I had a lot of explaining to do. So I signed to them telling them about Lie-la's lies and my class bullying me.
When I finished explaining they all looked like they wanted to kill my class. Even there butler who I don't know the name of, that was driving the limo looked very upset. But the one who looked the most upset was Bruce.
I then noticed the boys staring at me. But then I noticed Dick was staring in concern. I looked at him in question. "Why did it look like you were in pain earlier?" I froze wishing he didn't ask.
