"Yahooo!!! We did it!! Our prison bread was a success! We are free, y'know!!" Grim cheers loudly as he and y/n flew high near the clouds,"Grim, quiet!" y/n panics a bit while the guards had already heard Grim's shouts.

"Ah!! Look up there! They're escaping in Kalim's magic carpet!" Scarabia A says with alarm as he points up into the sky,"Now they're runaways and thieves. What's the Dorm Head going to do if he finds out...?" Scarabia B panics greatly,"We have to catch them!" Scarabia C says as they ran after them,"Wait right there~! Damn thieves~!" he shouts loudly.

"Heh heeh! Eat our dust jerks!" Grim smirks smugly at them before blowing raspberries,"Uh, Grim, a tiny problem. I don't know how to steer this thing." y/n admits nervously as they just idly flew in circles,"Steer? Ummm, Kalim grabbed onto the corner tassels and... Eiya!" Grim yanks on the tassels, but the carpet suddenly does a flip, causing y/n to scream as she held on for dear life.

"Waah! It just did a flip! Hey you! Listen. To. Me!" Grim grunts as he tries to steer the carpet, but the carpet keeps doing flips, twists and turns, and even loop-de-loops,"Gyaaaa! I'm getting dizzy!!! Stop, stop I say!!" Grim screams in a frenzy,"Waaaaah!!! Get me off this crazy thing!!!" y/n screams as her eyes became swirls.

"They're leaving the dorm!" Scarabia A shouts as they chase after the duo,"After them, after them!!" they all shout as the carpet dives down near the sand desert, then fly through the dorm's lounging area, back in the hallway, through a window and then straight for the exit,"Waaaaah~ We're gonna hit the mirror!!" Grim screeches,"Brace yourself!!" y/n screams before they zip through the mirror and in the Hall of Mirrors.

Though they flew straight into a different mirror and next thing the Ramshackle Duo knew, they had crashed into something,"Fgnaaaa..." Grim groans as y/n coughs,"Grim...? Grim, you okay?" she asks as she feels around in the dark before flinching when the lights turn on.

She blinks her eyes to clear her vision before registering that she and Grim crashed in Mostro Lounge,"Wait, did we...?" she utters,"...Oh my, I was wondering who would be here at this time of night." Jade's voice catches her attention as said male eyes the girl's dishevelled form,"I came to squeeze some food thieves, but... It's just Lil' Shrimp and Sally. Got my hopes up." Floyd says with a bit of disappointment.

"Ooheh...? What're you guys doing here?" Grim asks after snapping out of his daze,"Why... I told you that we couldn't go home until the glacier melts." Floyd reminds him as y/n sits up on her knees,"So we're in Octavinelle?!" Grim says with a relieved, hopeful smile,"Yes. You're in Mostro Lounge inside Octavinelle." Jade confirms their hope.

"W-we did it!!! We actually got out of that prison!" Grim cheers as he hugs y/n around her neck and she returns it while the carpet swirls around them a few times with glee,"Prison...?" Jade raises a brow at Grim's wording.

"What's that square-flounder-like thing?" Floyd smirks as he pokes the carpet lightly out of pure curiosity,"It looks strikingly like Kalim's magic carpet..." Jade says with his hand pinching his chin.

"It is..." y/n sighs out before gasping when the Scarabia residents ran into the scene,"You're out of places to run, damn thieves!" Scarabia A spat with a glare,"Now get tied up like good little mice!" Scarabia B says as he held some rope in his hands."Dgna! You followed us all the way here!? Do you guys ever give up?" Grim yelps with flabbergasted eyes as y/n held him protectively.

"Who do you think you are causing a scene at this time of night?" Azul steps in with stern eyes,"You're the Dorm Head of Octavinelle, Azul Ashengrotto...!" Scarabia B states as Azul notes the state y/n is in,"...What is the meaning of all this?" he asks as he pushes his glasses up.

"This has nothing to do with Octavinelle! Stay out of it and just hand those two over!" Scarabia A says as he points angrily at the Ramshackle Duo, in response the twins step a bit in front of the duo,"Now that I look closer, isn't that bundle shaking on the floor Grim and y/n?" Azul hums with crossed arms before smiling teasingly.

"I almost mistook you for dirty rags." he teases as he offers a hand to the girl, who accepts it and he helps her up,"Gee, thanks Azul. So you mind using that benevolent heart of yours and please help us out?" y/n asks as Grim now hid behind her leg.

"...Ffhmm." Azul hums as he thinks for a moment,"We worn let you off if you intend to get in our way!" Scarabia A warns him and Floyd glares at him with wide eyes,"...Huh? Just who do you think you're talking to?" he says lowly as Azul gently pushes y/n behind him,"As this is a gentleman's place for social gathering, we do not take kindly to rough housing in Mostro Lounge." he says.

"So you're really not cooperating?" Scarabia A glares at them,"Whatever. We'll just take them by force!" Scarabia B shouts as they pull out their magical pens,"Hmph. It seems we have to deal with some rather vulgar guests." Azul frowns before snapping his fingers,"Jade, Floyd. Please throw them out." he orders.

"Alright." the twins say and before the two Scarabia residents knew it, they were quickly outmatched by them,"Sh-shit! Retreat for now!" Scarabia A shouts,"We'll remember this...!" Scarabia B exclaims before they retreated back to Scarabia.

"That's right, scatter, you damn fry! Ahaha!" Floyd laughs maniacally,"We are looking forward to your next visit." Jade says with a dangerously ominous smile,"Nyaha!! We did it! Did you see that!?" Grim cheers as y/n sighs a breath of relief,"Thank goodness it's over now." she mumbles.

"I hate to bring this up while you're in such a good mood, but... About the damage that several of the tables and chairs sustained during the battle..." Azul gestures to said damage as y/n sweatdrops at the sight of their mess,"I'd like Ramshackle Dorm to cover it along with our service fee." he says and y/n sports a gloomy face.

"Eh!? You're making us pay!?" Grim jumps at this in disbelief,"A small price to pay for being spared from being beaten to a pulp, right?" Azul smirks at them,"Give me a break~!" y/n cries out,"We just got out of Hellrabia, but we still can't catch a break... There's nobody we can count on at this school." Grim sulks as well with droopy ears.

"...What's this?" Azul raises a brow at Grim's words,"What do you mean by 'Hellrabia'?" he asks before noticing the familiar uniform y/n is wearing,"It's a long story." y/n says as Jade retrieves the first aid kit,"We have time." Azul says with crossed arms.

And so, y/n told them how she and Grim got invited to Scarabia, to Kalim's mood swings and his hellish training session all the while Jade treated her wounds. He even furrowed his brows in concern when he saw the state of y/n's feet.

"And that's about it." y/n finished,"The tyrannical rule of Scarabia's Dorm Head?" Azul cups his chin in thought,"Yeah! The residents are having the crap kicked out of them by Kalim everyday." Grim exclaims as Jade patches the last wound on y/n.

"Kalim is capable of something like that?" Azul asks with surprise,"Whaaa? Baby Otter is the type to do that kinda stuff?" Floyd even shows his own genuine shock at this situation,"I'm guessing this isn't normal, huh?" y/n utters and Jade nods,"He really doesn't have that kind of image." he tells her.

"The vice dorm head, Jamil, is at his wit's end." Grim adds in,"He's a rare nice guy at this school so we really feel for him, y'know." he says, but y/n doesn't add anything. For some reason, doubt fills the pit in her stomach.

"And even though we could use his help we can't get ahold of the Headmaster at all! He's completely irresponsible!" Grim exclaim with utter annoyance and Azul hums with closed eyes for a moment,"Azul, aren't you in the same class as Jamil?" Jade says and Azul nods.

"Yes. We also have similar electives so we spend a lot of time together." he explains,"Grim is right that he is a rarity among the students here. It's like he lacks...presence? Or he keeps his head down at all times." he adds as Floyd wraps his arms around y/n's neck, who in response places her hands over his arms, not at all bothered by his hug. She's just glad it isn't a squeeze.

"Aaah, I'm on the basketball team with Sea Snakey, but he never does any risky plays." Floyd says with a lazy smile,"I don't care about other dorms so I never thought about it, but he's Scarabia's vice dorm head?" he hums with mild interests.

"The dorm head is a tyrant and the vice dorm head is out of options... Fumu." Azul smiles deviously at this scenario,"Then we have no choice but to lend them our help." he chirps and y/n sweatdrops at his sudden change of attitude,"That smile says otherwise." she mumbles.

"Huh? You're offering help? Is the sun gonna rise in the west tomorrow?" Grim looks at Azul with doubt,"So rude. I have properly learned my lesson from that incident and have become a changed man." Azul feigns a hurt look before offering a smile,"I am only trying to contribute to the betterment of this school like the benevolent Sea Witch would."

"I wish to help Scarabia through these trying times they find themselves in." he says humbly and y/n sighs with a shake of her head,"This is an opportunity which I simply can't ignore." Azul smiles with greedy eyes,"There it is. Money grubby Azul." y/n bluntly says with a deadpan expression.

"Hmmm?" Floyd hums in amusement,"Hoh hoooh...?" Jade also smile widely,"I'm also tired of eating turkey with the same faces year after year. We simply have to enjoy Scarabia's hospitality for ourselves." Azul explains his reasons.

"Eeh!? You're sending us back to prison after we just got out? No way in hell." Grim growls, making an X with his arms,"Now, now Seally, don't be like that." Floyd cooes as he leans back from y/n,"Leave everything to Azul and you can enjoy the holidays to the fullest." Jade reassures the duo.

"Fine~ We'll trust you." y/n sighs out and Azul nods with a satisfied smile,"Going empty handed would be discourteous. Jade, Floyd, make sure to have something to take with us." he requests,"Alright... Fufufu." the twins chuckle mischievously.

Azul then places a hand on y/n's shoulder,"Spending the holiday basking in the desert sun doesn't sound so bad. I'm looking forward to it." he smirks as he let's her go with a devious chuckle of his own.

Y/n was lucky enough to have slept that night at Octavinelle for free. Though she did ask that one of the twins, preferably Jade, to fetch her pajamas and some underwear. Floyd was actually kind enough to wash and dry the Scarabia uniform she wore.

The next day, Floyd cooked up some fresh seafood pizza before they all went to Scarabia together. Though in Scarabia, the guards are in a frenzy with what happened last night.

"I can't believe those guys went and holed up in Octavinelle..." Scarabia A growls with frustration,"They even went and stole Kalim's magic carpet... What if he finds out...? Ugghh, what should we do?" Scarabia B panics as he held his hair,"Let's go ask Jamil what he thinks first." Scarabia A suggests.

Though before they could leave, the Octavinelle Trio and Ramshackle Duo made their appearance,"Good morning. And pardon our intrusion." Azul greets them humbly with a hand placed on his chest while the carpet was tucked under his other arm,"Holy shit it's hot. It's like the middle of summer." Floyd complains with a small frown as he balances boxes of pizza in his hands.

Their appearance obviously alarmed the guards,"It's those guys from Octavinelle that beat the crap outta us yesterday!" Scarabia A states the obvious,"What do you want with Scarabia!?" Scarabia B glares at them.

"Aaah, I'm terribly about last night. It looked like you were picking on some poor, defenseless animals so as kind as I am, I just had to cover for them..." Azul explains while y/n gives him a pointed look,[Animals huh? Ironic coming from a literal walking, talking calamari!] she thought.

"But, after hearing about what transpired... I realized we had become accomplices in their crime of stealing the magic carpet. Which is why we are here to return the magic carpet." Azul explains as he let's the carpet go, allowing it to unfurl and fly to y/n's side.

"Mmnnhh... You lying son of a..." Grim glares at Azul while the carpet nudges y/n's cheek,"Hey, that tickles." the girl giggle softly as she pets the carpet,"Th-that's..." Scarabia A is at a lost for words,"Thank you for your cooperation...?" Scarabia B says with uncertainty before Jamil made his appearance from behind them.

"Hey, you guys. It's almost time for morning training. Kalim will lose it if you're la..." Jamil cuts himself off once he spots who is at the mirror entrance,"Oh my, Jamil! Good morning and how are you this fine day?" Azul greets him with a smile.

"Azul Ashengrotto with the Leech brothers...! What exactly is going on?" Jamil questions before his eyes lands on a nervous y/n,"It is extremely difficult for us to travel home during the winter." Jade tells him,"So we stay at the dorm during the winter holidays. Ah hah." Floyd finishes the explanation with a small, amused laugh.

"Come... again?" Jamil raises a brow at them,"By the way, where could I find Kalim at this time? I'd like to return his magic carpet you see..." Azul says as he gestures to said enchanted item,"Eh, ahh... ahhhh." Jamil finally took note of the carpet waving at him,"If it's a delivery then I'll take care of it." he offers.

"No, I couldn't. This magic carpet is like a national treasure. If someone were to discover something wrong with it and try to claim that it was Octavinelle's fault I'd have no end to trouble so I would like to deliver it directly to Kalim myself and have him look it over." Azul offers with a serious expression.

"Kalim would never care about something like that so I'll take it..." Jamil claims,"Be at ease. There is no need for you to pay the 20% labor fee for returning a lost item." Azul reassures him,"We'd also like to offer our apologies for our extremely rude behavior when those from Scarabia were just doing their jobs." Jade speaks up,"And we brought some seafood pizza." Floyd chirps as he presents said dish.

"Anyway, I'd like to hand this over to him directly. I assume he's already awake?" Azul presumes as the carpet hovered near his side now,"I'm telling you he's in a bad..." Azul ignores Jamil in favor of striding right into the dorm,"Don't come in uninvited! Azul!" Jamil chases after him.

"Y/n, you should come with." Jade says,"Don't fall behind, m'kay?" Floyd cooes with a smile and y/n nods, albeit nervously,"Got it. I just don't wanna get locked up again." she admits and the twins share a look,"Though, I'm glad you guys are on our side... I guess?" she adds sheepishly.

"These guys don't take 'no' for an answer, y'know..." Grim grumbles with disappointment before scurrying up to his usual perch,"And it's a good thing they don't." y/n whispers to him before she and the twins followed after Azul and Jamil.
