"Y/n...You've been in there for hours already.Come on.Its time to get out of the shower, otherwise you will catch a cold."Sasha softly said and knocked on your bathroom door.
You sniffed and looked up at the door."Please Sasha."You voice was quiet;you didn't know if she was even able to hear you because of the shower."I-I can't get out like this."You brought yourself to say it.
It was silent for some moments."Can I at least enter?I won't laugh or anything,I promise."She spoke.
You thought for a while and hummed softly. She entered the bathroom and her eyes softened when she saw you hugging your knees while standing in the shower, your wet hair falling on your face, make up ruined from crying and all wet from the shower that was still running with hot water. You looked away and hid your fwce, but she came into the shower and kneeled down in front of you, grabbing your chin.
"You are getting wet..."You spoke quietly and she cracked a smile, then brought you in her embrace.
"Oh Y/n...I hate seeing you like this.We all do.It breaks my heart seeing you suffer and struggle.I just feel so bad at myself that I am not good enough for you to be comfortable to tell me how you feel exactly and to be able to cry in front of me.I am sorry for not being a good enough person to you.I am sorry for making you uncomfortable in any shape or form.I am sorry for annoying you and for all the other times I made you feel negative emotions. Please just...Just stop crying,hm?Everything will be ok."She mumbled into your shoulder
"Sash...Its nothing like that...I-I..."You sobbed."I could have saved him.I was right there and all I did was watch. It isn't the first time I am not able to save someone from that killer.I-The puppet killer was right there in front of me.They killed my parents,Sash.I saw their bodies in pools of blood. And the killer left a puppet doll,a souvenir.I had to bury them,Sash.I had to act like it wasn't a big deal and I had to prepare for my exams while all that happened. How am I supposed to not feel bad when, once again,I wasn't able to bring justice to my parents and save another human from what that monster has done."You broke down crying again and she caressed your bare back soothingly.

"It's not your fault. You couldn't have done anything. She would have gotten to him somehow later on and the result would have been the same. Please stop thinking like that. And it's about time we will catch the puppet killer.Dont worry, all of us from Bonten want that.We just need to prepare better. They are a tough opponent, different from all the other enemies we had up until now.We will catch them and kill them,ok?"-Sasha.
You took a deep breath and nodded, which made Sasha slightly smile. She backed away, her bright grin on her face. She removed the hair from your face and you blinked away tears, which made her take a deep breath.
"Sash I...I want to talk to you..."You said in a whisper and she nodded with a smile.
"Let's get you in comfy clothes first and foremost."She cheerfully spoke and closed the shower that was running over the both of you, then took a towel and helped you get up,wrapping it around you.
"Oh god you are wet!"You widened your eyes.
"Don't worry about me.Im ok."She gave you a warm smile and you looked into the mirror.
"God I look like shit."You mumbled and earned a chuckle from the brunette behind you.
"I think you look cute.Even tho seeing you cry hurts like a bitch,I feel like your makeup being messed up is cute."-Sasha.
You glared at her from the mirror and wiped away the make up on your face.
"As a prosecutor,I always wanted to help people and bring justice.I know it's kinda ironic given the fact that I am a Bonten executive and I do the exact opposite, but when I realized what that girl wanted to do to Alex,my mind told me that I should help, not just stand and watch and not be able to do anything like it happened to my parents.Looking back at it now,as you already said, the result would have been the same."You said.Sasha and you were cuddling on your bed, both of you dressed in a hoodie and comfy pants, all the clothes being yours, since Sasha said she was too lazy to go back to her room and take clothes for herself.

She helped you dry your hair and so did you to her and now you were finally able to talk as the two of you were watching the stars from your window.Your room was at the last floor of the main Bonten mansion and it had a gorgeous view not only to Tokyo, but also to the stars.Your ceiling was actually a whole window which made you see the sky every time of the day you wanted. It was already night and the constellations were very visible, which made you and Sasha calm and relaxed.
"I never though I would say this about a criminal organization, let alone Japan's most feared one at that, but I love you all.I grew very attached to you in those months and I honestly really had alot of fun."You confessed and Sasha smiled.
"What about your friends?Have you talked to them yet? They must be stressed as hell."-Sasha.
"Now that you mention it,no.And I don't plan to.Not because I don't miss them, god I do.But the thing is that I am afraid I will put them in danger.None of them knows how to fight if something were to happen to them and I wouldn't be able to take it if they got hurt because of me.I think it's better if we stay far away, at least for some time now. They most probably hate me at this point,so I don't think it's a problem if they won't see me around them anymore. They will eventually forget about me.At least Momo and the twins.Sana...She will, but harder and slower than the others. We were literally best friends ever since we were born."You sighed.
"Is she a good friend?"Sasha asked.
You smiled."The best.Actually, now that I think about it,the two of you gave off a very similar energy.I think you would make a fun duo as friends."The two of you giggled.
"Wouldn't hurt to try.Maybe when everything chills off,you will be able to explain to them everything and,who knows,we might also meet them too."Sasha said and you smiled.
"Yeah...It would be lovely..."

8 188A Martial Odyssey
Our community discord. With one step, an ocean is crossed. With one swing, an immortal is slain. Grisla Orlith's name has been in contention for centuries; millenia. Has he ever existed? Is it true about him? They hear of the future, but they don't know his past. Assumed as a genius from heaven, a warrior without peer. But back then, from those that knew of him... only saw a worthless boy. [Adventure, Wuxia, Martial Arts, Fantasy] For those not in the know, this is a book with some western and eastern fantasy sprinkled in. This is a work coming from someone who's a long time fan of the genre and would like to add my own flavor and spin to it, and I particularly dislike the shallow xianxia characterization and development. To counteract that is about eighty percent of the reason I'm writing this. The beginning might be a slow burn but I promise I'm bringing up some awesome scenes and moments once you're invested. Again, this is not some fast food xianxia. But I can say that as a lover of the genre I won't be completely shying away from the stuff that got myself hooked into it in the first place. DISCORD NOW AVAILABILE!

8 246The Last Marshal
Weird West Fantasy Noir Once the Republic Marshals brought order to the chaotic lands along the Frontier, facing dangers both human and supernatural with ancient wisdom and a six-gun —but that was a long time ago. Destroyed by conspiracy and betrayal, all that remains of that secretive order is one nameless man on a trek though the West seeking revenge on the woman he blames for the Marshals' fall and his disgrace. When a visitor from our world joins him on his journey, they together must confront the horrors of a strange land, the mysteries of the past and the real meaning of their quest for justice. The world of Tellus is what 19th Century Earth would have looked like if the stories of Poe, Ambrose Bierce, Lovecraft and William Hope Hodgeson were real. History in this world moves slower. The old faiths persist and civilization never conquered the dark corners of the map, at least not without being inextricably changed. Technology and culture takes a little longer to evolve in this land, as people here tend to spend more time pursuing their elaborate revenge plots or trying to avoid being the next sacrifice to the Outer Gods rather than advancing science or statecraft. Imagine Cormac McCarthy by way of Edgar Rice Burroughs, though a little less testosterone-drenched than that description would imply. Three caveats: First, there are deep mysteries here, including how such a world came to be and who controls it. Second, this world is not wholly unconnected from our own. There is a historical point of divergence, but in the distant past. To paraphrase Twain: history in this world is not a repeat of our own, but it does often rhyme. And finally, this is not a setting that lends itself to happy endings.
