《Strange world》bright night (part 4)

The dance was vibrant, loud and bold
dance floor crowded, pleasing chaos
shining shifting arms and legs
dancers complimenting my wild style
in keeping with the night perhaps
Before the midnight countdown came
one dancing man discovered me
Grabbed me, held me backwards, skintight against his groin
hands quick caressing first my breasts, then lower down
spun me around and gripped me firm again . . . I was no victim
just surprised, still dancing though, responsive, moving both as one
He murmured in my ear I want to fuck you
I moved a step away, with ease he grabbed me back again
held my hips and waist, pressed in
I'm fucking you right now he said
I understood, i felt it too, the music throbbed
the DJ's swayed
Balloons tied to the stage vibrated to the beat
I stepped away again, our eyes met smiling warm
then I danced backward through the crowd, to girl side of the stage
Not frightened or rejecting, just not able to . . . do something — what?
Comply? Take part? Understand? unsure but
felt I wasn't right for. . . it, whatever it would be
yet at the same time pleased to feel in flesh so very right
and very pleased to see he thought I was.
Then counting down commenced
crowd throbbing to the beat, New Year was born
I lost my garnet necklace, found it, the man found me again
smiled with sweet glee, we laughed and danced anew
then he again encircled me
Held me, my back against his muscled front
his glossy bulging garb pressed hard against my velvet skirt
His arms felt very strong —
he sought to draw me backward, toward the door
murmured in my ear "you like this" — statement/question blend
correct, I did, did like it, liked it a lot, and yet . . .
I swivelled, met his eyes, spoke into his ear — it's complicated
I looked again at him beneath the sparkle disco lights,
his smile was sad but warm and sweet
he got it, understood, it seemed —
gently he opened hands and softly let me go
I smiled into his kind sad eyes and slipped away
Grabbed coat and travelled out beneath the stars
watched fireworks above
heard fireworks explode
felt fireworks within the whole walk home.

Of Frost and Steel
After being kicked out of home by her own parents, Emily found herself living in the house of an old woman while working as a plumber to help pay the bills. Her slightly unusual but still very normal life came to an abrupt end one day when an incoming car crashed into hers. When she next opened her eyes, she found no ambulance or hospital room waiting for her. What she found were instead the faces of beings much larger than her who were not entirely human, and the opportunity to live a new life, free of her old one. WARNING: This fiction is dedicated to a friend of mine who spent twelve years of her life hiding who she was because she feared the reaction of her family. For this reason it contains LGBT themes, although they won't be the sole or main focus of the story. The story contains sexual themes, but I will try to keep them to a minimum or make them "fade to black". Chapters will be around 1000 words long and without a fixed release schedule, for the moment.

Catecholamine Web
Life as a neuro-based cryptocurrency miner is far from easy, but there are perks to living on the NeuroWeb. Perks Sendai lost when his long-term home, BlackStar Galaxy, went offline. Without his longtime avatar, his gear, his guild, the in-game cryptocurrency earnings, or even most of his friends, Sendai's going to have to hustle if he wants to make rent in the real world without spending sixteen hours a day pushing algorithms through his skull. His time in the fight pits of New Idaho mean he has a strong Neural-Affinity for melee combat, but the unfamiliar martial arts world of Wind of the Eight Kingdoms will take more than a brawler's instinct to master. If he's ever going to gather up his old crew and take revenge on the jerks who brought down BlackStar he'll need to become top dog in dozens of game worlds, especially if he doesn't want to starve while doing it. At least he's still got his reflexes, his two girlfriends on different sides of the planet, and his real-world pet cat, Mancini.
