《Strange world》bright night (part 4)

The dance was vibrant, loud and bold
dance floor crowded, pleasing chaos
shining shifting arms and legs
dancers complimenting my wild style
in keeping with the night perhaps
Before the midnight countdown came
one dancing man discovered me
Grabbed me, held me backwards, skintight against his groin
hands quick caressing first my breasts, then lower down
spun me around and gripped me firm again . . . I was no victim
just surprised, still dancing though, responsive, moving both as one
He murmured in my ear I want to fuck you
I moved a step away, with ease he grabbed me back again
held my hips and waist, pressed in
I'm fucking you right now he said
I understood, i felt it too, the music throbbed
the DJ's swayed
Balloons tied to the stage vibrated to the beat
I stepped away again, our eyes met smiling warm
then I danced backward through the crowd, to girl side of the stage
Not frightened or rejecting, just not able to . . . do something — what?
Comply? Take part? Understand? unsure but
felt I wasn't right for. . . it, whatever it would be
yet at the same time pleased to feel in flesh so very right
and very pleased to see he thought I was.
Then counting down commenced
crowd throbbing to the beat, New Year was born
I lost my garnet necklace, found it, the man found me again
smiled with sweet glee, we laughed and danced anew
then he again encircled me
Held me, my back against his muscled front
his glossy bulging garb pressed hard against my velvet skirt
His arms felt very strong —
he sought to draw me backward, toward the door
murmured in my ear "you like this" — statement/question blend
correct, I did, did like it, liked it a lot, and yet . . .
I swivelled, met his eyes, spoke into his ear — it's complicated
I looked again at him beneath the sparkle disco lights,
his smile was sad but warm and sweet
he got it, understood, it seemed —
gently he opened hands and softly let me go
I smiled into his kind sad eyes and slipped away
Grabbed coat and travelled out beneath the stars
watched fireworks above
heard fireworks explode
felt fireworks within the whole walk home.

Dungeons Are Bad Business
Vee Vales has been kicked out of his home and directed to make his own way in the world. Along with his friend Alforde Armorsoul, Vee travels to the city of Oar's Crest. Once a prosperous and well-to-do city, Oar's Crest has fallen into depression and disrepair. After finding a strange stone that takes up residence in a tattered top hat and introduces itself as Reginald, Vee and Alforde decide to open a dungeon in Oar's Crest to revitalize the city and, more importantly, make some fleurs. [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Author's Note: Dungeons are Bad Business (DABB) is a slow burn slice-of-life dungeon core litRPG citybuilder that's focused on the day to day experience of running a dungeon. There will be some action, but it won't be the focus of the story and Vee and his friends will usually overcome their problems with their minds and their pocketbooks instead of their weapons. Since I'm participating in the writeathon, I will probably be uploading chapters almost daily for the duration of the event. Thanks for reading!

Milton
A Cyberpunk Coming of Age Tale The Apocalypse is ugly. The only lights that work are battery powered or neon. Scroungers kill your neighbors and take control of their bodies. Gang wars run rampant in the perpetual night, as usual, except now, most members have magical spells to defend their turf. Life certainly changed once the Rainbow Letters came. For Milton, things changed for the better. The world became familiar. He could find loot, learn skills, and equip weapons and armor. It was all much easier to understand than the perils of pre-Apocalypse life with its grocery shopping and going outside. Then he discovers Ragnarok, Orchestrator of the Rainbow Letters and all of Milton’s problems. The race to figure out why is on. If Milton is to survive long enough to find answers, he must first be strong enough to confront his worst enemy: himself. * This is work in progress and NOT professionally edited. * ** This story is humorous in the begining, but gets very dark around the turning point. Reader discretion is advised.**

boxer [p.jm] ✔️
"Why don't you ever go into the ring?", he asked me, while my eyes drifted from the hanging bag in front of me to the guy who stood next to it. "I'd prefer to ruin the bags rather than someone's face," I tell him, smirking as his eyes went wide and he backed away. -A Park Jimin of BTS Fanfiction.-Created: January 14, 2018Ended: January 21, 2018
