Amber talked to Knowledge on FaceTime as a sleeping Mecca laid on her chest.
The two were back in Savannah for the weekend while Knowledge was actually in Atlanta for a game.
"She always be sleep when I call." He chuckled.
"I wish I would've known you were coming before I left. " Amber sighed for the 100th time.
"Like why wouldn't you say something Knowledge?"
"I miss you too mama." He said ignoring her last comment.
Mecca began waking up, and crying.
"Is that daddy baby?" Knowledge smiled as her eyes opened.
"Da!" She cried.
"What's wrong pretty girl, hmm?"
His smile made her stop crying, and caused a small smile to form on her face.
The two talked for a while as Amber paid attention to her iPad.
"Amb?"
"Yea?" She answered.
"Imma see y'all later ight?" He stood up from his hotel bed and zipped up a backpack.
"Okay, talk to you later." She waved.
"Mecs, I love you girl!"
"Love dada!" Mecca smiled.
"I love you." He said to Amber.
She gave him a smile "Love you too."
Once the phone hung up, Mecca cuddle up to Amber.
Amber decided to order some food, then played Moana for Mecca.
Not long after she did all of that, her phone rang showing Knowledge's name.
"Really?" He mugged her through the camera. "Fuck is 'love you' Amb?"
Amber eyed him in confusion "Sir, what?"
"You said lOvE yOu when I said I love you."
"Oh my bad it's not that deep." She giggled.
"Kikiki, we gon try again. Okay?"
"Okay.." she laughed.
"I love you Amb."
"I love you, Knowledge." She said laughing some more.
"Ight bye."

"That's cute you should get it! I could see you in an outfit wit them." Sky smiled as they walked through a Rick Owens store.
Amber was looking at some of the sneakers.
Amber's smile quickly dropped as she turned it over and saw the price.
Money was never a problem for Amber, but she didn't have it like that. So spending $600 on some shoes didn't really sit right with her.
"Mmm imma just settle wit some converses. They look just alike."
Sky laughed "Girl didn't he give you the black card?"
"Yea but I'm scared to use it."
"Amber you done turned to everything we looked at in every store.. he gave you the card to use!"
"I know, but I just feel bad. You know?"
"No not really.." Sky shrugged.
Amber laughed at her as they linked arms and left the store.
"Okay.. how about we use the card and you treat me to some chic fil a?" Sky suggested.
"A milkshake sound good as fuck right now." Amber nodded as she grabbed her car keys out of her purse.
Once the two got their food, Amber decided to get Mecca from her grandma's house.
"Shawty gon be mad you didn't get her no food." Sky said.

"That's why we gotta throw it away before she come in the car, they should've had lunch a few minutes ago tho." Amber laughed.
Since her mom's house was on the same side as the mall, Amber had gotten there in less that fifteen minutes.
"What are we doing next?" Amber asked Sky as she put the car in park.
Amber texted her mom so they could bring Mecca to the car, then waited.
"Mmm we can go to the nail shop, I need a fill." Sky said.
Amber nodded in agreement "I definitely need a new set."
"Hi mommmy!" Mecca smiled as the car door opened.
Amber looked back at her and smiled "Hi my baby!!"
"Skysky!" She clapped once her aunt came into view.
"Hi Ma!" Amber waved at her mom.
"Hey y'all find anything good at the mall?"
Amber shook her head "No, only some stuff for Mecca."
"Mmm ok, well I'm making dinner. When y'all coming back?"
Amber shrugged "We going to the nail shop then drop Sky home, then I'll be back."
"Oh nah I'm eating what Ms. Ariele making." Sky interjected.
Ariele laughed then nodded her head as she finished strapping Mecca in.
"Did you have a good day?" Sky asked as Amber reversed out of the driveway.
Mecca nodded as she ate some chips Amber had in the back for her.
"Yea, ma call da." She said.
"I think he's doing something right now, but I'll call later okay?"
This instantly caused her to catch an attitude and begin to pout.
Amber sighed "Mecca don't start."
"I wan call da."
"I already told you that he's busy right now, so he can't talk. We will call later." Amber said.
Mecca pouted some more as she looked out the window.
"She a daddy's girl bad." Sky laughed.
"Mannn," Amber shook her head.
They rode in silence the rest of the way, until Amber pulled in front of the nail shop.

After a few hours had passed, Mecca, Sky, and Amber had all been serviced.
Amber had decided on pink French tips and matching toes. For Mecca she had gotten a kids pedicure and yellow polish.
"Call da!" Mecca screeched as Amber was paying for the two.
"Give me a second Mecca." She sighed as she gave the lady her card.
She pulled her phone out of her bag and FaceTimed Knowledge. After a while the screen flashed and Amber put her phone back.
"He's still busy Mecs."
This caused Mecca to go into a crying fit.
Amber eyed her before Sky came to scoop her up and take her outside.
"I'm sorry about that." Amber apologized as the lady gave her a receipt and her card back.
"All good! Thank you and come again."
Amber offered her a small smile before going to the car, to join Sky and Mecca.
"Cut. It. Out." Amber gritted as she got in the car and looked at Mecca in the back seat.

Mecca had thrown her sippy cup across the back seat along with the rest of her bag of chips, leaving a mess.
"Mecca. Clean it up now!" She said sternly, raising her voice a little.
Mecca stopped crying for a moment and looked at Amber in shock before crying harder. Nonetheless, she picked up the chips that surrounded her car seat.
"Aww TT baby." Sky cooed causing Amber to turn to her.
"Aht, don't do that." Amber shook her head.
"She's not even two Amb.."
"Sky.." Amber shook her head, not in the mood to get into over how she dealt with her child.
Amber felt like Mecca needed to be corrected, she had tried to be patient and explain why Mecca couldn't talk to Knowledge but she refused to listen. Then she continued on with her fit.
Blowing out a breath, Amber reversed out of the parking lot with a crying Mecca in the back.

Once they got back to the house, Mecca was still crying a little. Amber took her out of her car seat as Sky grabbed whatever bags were in the car.
"Mama- Knowledge what you doing here?" Amber cut herself off as she walked in the house.
"Hey mama." He smiled, but the smile quickly fell as he saw his crying Mecca.
"Da!" She whined as tears fell down her face.
He stood up and reached for her, to which Amber gladly gave her to him.
"Why you crying baby?" He wiped her face and looked to Amber for answer.
"M-mama," Mecca cried more as she forced tears out for her dad.
Amber shook her head at the child.
"She's upset because you didn't answer the phone all day. Then I had to raise my voice."
Knowledge scrunched up his face "You yelled at her?"
"I did, she decided to start throwing things in my car."
Amber was kind of thrown off by his reaction.
"..Ight we'a talk bout this later." He said before taking Knowledge to sit on the couch.
"Hey baby you wanna try some of this?" Ariele asked as she poked her head out of the kitchen.
"What you made ma?" Amber asked.
"Chicken noodle soup from scratch, since it's Knowledge favorite."
Amber rolled her eyes at the mention of his name.
"Oh Lord, what happened now?" Ariele asked, seeing her daughter's face.
"He made it seem like I was wrong for getting on Mecca when she was throwing a fit earlier.. it's not like I hit her or even yelled ridiculously." Amber huffed.
"Mmm yea, you gotta correct her behavior now before she think throwing fits gon get her what she want."
"Exactly, that's what I'm saying."
Amber nodded her head then got a clean spoon to try the food.
"It's good, can you make me a bowl?" Amber asked.
Ariele nodded as she put some soup in the bowl for Amber.
Amber took her bowl then headed upstairs to her room.
Twenty minutes later, Knowledge had came into the room with his bowl.
"Amber.. I just think we could be more gentle wit her. I read about that gentle parenting shit, they say it's effective."
Amber scrunched up her face "I tried that. I explained that you wasn't available then I tried calling you again in front of her. When I got to the car tho, she had made a mess so clearly that soft approach didn't work."
"Okay, but ion want you yelling or putting your hands on her."
"Knowledge I barely raised my voice and I did not put my hands on her... Nigga, what are you talking about?"
"Okay you see how she was crying when she saw me.." He argued.
She shook her head "Knowledge she was fine and calming down when we pulled up to the house. As soon as she saw you that's when she pulled out all the tears, even when I had 'yelled' she didn't cry like that."
Knowledge frustratedly huffed "Ight well clearly we not seeing eye to eye on this."
"Clearly we're not. Gentle parenting is cool and all, I'm still working to be better at it. But Knowledge, you're making me feel like a bad mother and I know I'm not." She expressed.
This caused Knowledge to soften his face and stand up to move closer to her.
"Nah baby, I know you not. I'm sorry," he apologized, instantly feeling bad.
He tried to pull her into him, but she moved away.
"I'm not in the mood, Knowledge."
He nodded and just sat on the bed before grabbing his soup.
"...Mecca aside, what you buy from the mall?" He asked, trying to start up a conversation.
"I found some stuff for Mecca." She told him.
"Did you find a dress? Ain that what you went in for?"
She shook her head, "I did, but I didn't find anything."
"Awl okay.." he eyed her before standing up and walking out the room.
When he came back, he had bags in his hands.
"Hmm." He sounded as he placed the bags by her feet.
She rested her empty bowl down to see bags from Rick Owens, Dior, Prada, and Cartier.
Amber opened the first bag to see the same shoes she had looked at earlier in Rick Owens.
"Knowledge.." she looked at him in shock.
"If you want sum, use the card Amb."
She then opened the Dior bag to see a purse her and Sky had also seen in the store.
"Thank you." She smiled.
"Open the rest." He nodded at the few other bags.
The bag from Prada had a mini leather gold purse along with sunglasses to match.
Lastly, in the Cartier bag, she opened it to find multiple Jewelry cases.
One held a gold love bracelet, the other a matching ring, and a necklace to complete the set.
"I-i only looked at the bracelet." She told him.
"I know but I wanted you to have the whole thing."
After she put everything back, nicely. Amber stood up to give him a hug.
"Thank you."
"You're welcome mama, I love you."
