(HI, so like remember when I said I'd post this like a week ago, yeah no I lied sorry. It has a weird title because I literally don't know what to call this, I try to use sentences from the poems in my titles. Uh so yeah, I had a breakdown today so ya know it's was just excellent timing, just perfect, and now I'm here posting this. Uh enjoy, I know this one isn't really the best but this'll might be my last poem for the year so in case I don't post, IHappy New Year. I'll see you next year.)

The woman who is stood is unlike the others

She is just taller than you

With gray rimmed glasses

And strawberry blond hair

That falls nicely upon her shoulders

She talks with a light southern accent and seems quite nice

But you don't trust her

You've never trusted easily

That's a given

But she just seems like an act

A faker in disguise

No one else sees it

No one else gets the weird feeling

And you understand why

If it hadn't been for your gut, you would trust her to

But something seems wrong

Her and your brother don't click

They don't look to have that spark

The one all good couples have

The look of love and joy as they look at their partner

You don't see it

And maybe it's your brain

You're no good with love

You don't understand it

But you've seen that look before

The one of love

You've seen it in so many people

You saw it with his ex

See it in your parents

In your cousin and his wife

But with them

With them, it's gone

Like it was never there

Like this is all a play

One they don't know they're performing in

So the woman who stands is far more different

The woman who is stood is unlike the others

She's shorter than the others

She has longer hair than the others

And she can't be trusted like the others

The woman who stands here is different

And she may now with your brother

But you'll never like her

You'll never get along with the woman that is stood
