"Oh, Y/n?" I stopped in my tracks as soon as I heard my name. I peeked inside the room and saw Arthur talking to Elijah.
"She's like a sister to me." 'ouch, I've been sister zoned by my childhood crush.'
"I think she likes you." Elijah said.
"What do you mean she likes me?" 'Yeah, I do like you. A lot!'
"That girl... Her standards are so high.." He chuckled. 'Huh!!? Ok, maybe that is true.'
"Plus, I'm not into dating."
"So, does that mean... She's mine now?" Elijah asked. I giggled.
"Yea-Wait! What?!" Arthur yelled.
"I like her for a long time now, and I'm thinking of asking her out." Elijah replied. My face slowly turned red.
"Pfft, she will probably reject you." Arthur replied.
"Well, there's nothing wrong in trying." Elijah insisted
"I'm advising you to don't. Didn't I tell you already? Her standards are high."
"Who knows, she'll probably lower her standards just for me." Elijah replied. He leaned back, folded his hands over his chest, and smugly smiled at me.
"Plus, aren't you supposed to support me? Why are you so against it?" Elijah added, which made Arthur sigh.
"There are other girls. Why Y/n?" He asked.
"She's pretty." Elijah replied.
"That's all?" Arthur asked, and Elijah nodded.
"Well, you're a jerk then. Don't ever come near, Y/n! And don't even think about asking her out!" Arthur yelled, making Elijah flinch.
"Ohoho, do you really think of Y/n only as a sister or more than that?" Elijah asks while wiggling his eyebrows.
"You know, I don't really mind sharing." Elijah added while smirking.
"What-You know what. Go ahead and ask her out, and don't come back to me crying!"
'Well... that's finished. Guess I should get going.' I said to myself.
"What-You know what. Go ahead and ask her out, and don't come back to me crying!" I yelled at him.
I don't like her. She's like a sister to me. Right?
Ugh. I'll just train to clear my thoughts.
While walking towards the training grounds, I saw someone familiar walking away.
"Y/n!" I called out, running to her. She turned around and waved at me.
"Hello, Art." She greeted while smiling.
"Where are you going, Y/n?" I asked.
"I'm meeting someone." She replied.
"Who?" I asked once again. She chuckled, which made me look at her confusedly.
"I don't know. I just found this note on my desk." She replied while handing me the note. Just by reading it, I already knew who it was.

"Meet me outside the campus at exactly 5 pm". My eye twitched at the familiar handwriting on the paper.
"Anyways, I got to get going now." She slowly pulled the note on my hand and walked away. I was thinking about either following her or not. If I do, she might think I'm a stalker. I sighed deeply and followed behind her silently.
I hid behind a tall pillar while Y/n sat on a bench waiting for 'him. How could she be so pretty without even trying? I thought to myself. Soon he came. He wore an extravagant suit and held a bouquet of roses. I cringed disgustingly at his outfit.
"Elijah?" I asked confusedly. I knew he liked me, but I never thought he would go this far. I gulped and smiled at him sweetly.
"Y/n, I have an important thing to confess." He seriously replied. He adjusted his glasses and handed me the roses, which I declined.
"I'm sorry, but I like someone else." Before he could continue what he was about to say, I cut him off. He looked a little bit sad about what I said.
"I knew that was coming." He chuckled.
"Here, just take this. Whoever that person is, they are lucky to be liked by a beautiful girl like you." He said before leaving.
"I'm sorry, Elijah." I whispered.
"I like someone else."
Those words kept echoing in my head.
"Is it me? Nah, it isn't me. Right? Ugh!!" My mind is going crazy. I should get some fresh air. I got up from my bed and decided to take a short stroll. As I walked around the campus, I saw Y/n sitting on a bench. Her hair danced at the breeze of air. I walked up to her but stopped halfway through.
"I think it's best if I give her some space." I said.
"Art?" I suddenly flinched at the sudden call of my name.
"Oh hey, Y/n." I said while waving my hand.
"Why are you still awake?" She asked.
"Why are you still awake?" I asked her back.
"It's nothing. What about you?" She sat back down and tapped on the space beside her.
"Something is bothering me." I replied while walking up to her.
"What is it?" She asked curiously. I turned my head to her and whispered in her ears.
"You."
"Huh? Wai-what?" She turned her gaze to me, which made her blush because of how close we were to each other. She backed away and fell to the ground, which made me laugh at her clumsiness.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked.
"Yeah." She replied and stood up.
"Art, I wanna tell you something." I noticed a light blush on her face, which made me sweat uncontrollably.
'Is she gonna..." As she looked at me, her face changed into a concerned look.
"Nevermind, It was something silly anyways. I should leave now. Bye, Art." She hurriedly left. I sighed deeply and sat back down. Just then, I saw Tessia.
"Tess." I called out to her.
Did he know I was going to confess? What's with his look, though? It seemed like I was making him uncomfortable. Should I apologize? Yeah, maybe I should.
I turned and walked back to him but stopped when I saw Tessia leaning on his shoulder.
Who am I to think that I even have a chance on him?
I heard that Art was injured, so I decided to visit him. I brought some food and flowers for him. I hope he is feeling better.
As I opened the door, I saw Tessia Kissing Art. I froze and dropped the flowers, which caught their attention.
"Oh, I'm sorry." I quickly picked it up and fixed my posture. I walked up to them and placed the food on the table.
"I brought some food. You guys should try some." I said while a smile plastered on my face.
"Y-yeah, thanks for these." He stuttered.
"I should get going now." Tessia muttered. Before I could stop her, she was already out of the room.
"So, what brings you here." Arthur asked.
"I wanted to visit you." I simply replied. I sat at the chair, and it was quiet for a moment. I glanced at Arthur and saw that he was blushing. My heart ached, I bit the bottom of my lip to prevent myself from crying.
"I hope you get better. Goodbye." I slowly got up and walked away, but he stopped me.
"Y/n, wait!" He said. I tilted my head to the side and raised an eyebrow.
"Let's just forget what happened today, okay?" He said.
"Okay." I know deep down inside that I can never forget what happened.
"And also, I know you like me. So I hope this won't affect our friendship." He added. My lips quivered, and I felt a teardrop. I didn't reply and just left his room.
It's already nighttime, and I can't stop thinking about her. And it's making me crazy. I got up and decided to go to her room to clear things up. I knocked on her door, and luckily she was still awake.
"Art?"
"Hey, Tess." She blushed and was about to close the door, but I blocked it.
"W-why are you here?" She stuttered.
"I have to say something about earlier." I replied sternly.
"I hope that kiss didn't mean anything." Tessia looked at me and scratched the back of her neck.
"Hahaha, of course." She chuckled and smiled at me reassuringly.
Now, I can go back to sleep peacefully with nothing bothering me. Just as I was about to sleep, I remembered Y/n. I sighed deeply.
"I can never like her. I'm a grown-ass man! I can never like her. Wait, If I like her. Does that make me a pedophile? Wait, how old even is she? If I'm 18, that means she's 18 too. Right?" I groaned and pinched the bridge of my nose.
"What's so special about her anyways?" I asked myself.
"Yeah, she is beautiful, intelligent, clumsy, kind? Y/n, what did you do to me?"
I decided to confess to her today. After a week of avoiding my feelings, I finally admit I have feelings for her. As I walked nearer to her room, my legs started to weaken. I mentally cursed at myself. I stopped at her door and was about to knock when I got nervous and froze.
'What if she rejects me?' I thought to myself.
'Maybe I should try on another day.' I started to walk away, but then her door opened. I turned around only to see her carrying a big luggage.
"Art?"
"Y/n, are you leaving?" I asked.
"Unfortunately, yes." She replied with a sad tone.
"Why? Was it because of what happened?" No, no, she can't leave.
"No, Idiot! My parents are having a hard time, and I decided to go back home." She chuckled.
"Anyways, do you have something to say?" She asked.
"Y/n, I like you. No, no, I love you." She looked at me, shocked. She didn't say a thing which made me worry.
"So?" I impatiently asked.
"I love you too, dummy."
