The voices inside my head are taking over, they're telling me that my life is in danger
I'm scared that the silence won't come back forever, I believe this is my darkest hour
Chapter One

Hey, Masky, hey!"
I groaned and swiveled my head around to look at the thing poking me. She grinned as my eyes shifted from my clenched fists to her and back. Of course she couldn't see my expression since I had my mask on.
"What?!"
She wasn't phased by my harsh tone and her smile only grew.
"Hi!"
I groaned and placed my entire hand over her small face, tempted to throw her away from me and she giggled, fucking giggled like it was the funniest thing ever.
She's been hanging around Toby too much.
I could just imagine sliding my knife across her pale cheeks, watching the crimson flow.
"Are we playing peek-a-boo?" She asked in that annoying five-year-old voice.
Someone tutted and my gaze shifted to my right to see Toby entering the room with a bowl of what I suppose was cereal.
"Y-you do anything to her and you're d-dead! You know how she gets."
Rolling my eyes I push the tiny thing back and she falls on her ass giggling.
Ugh.
Everyone in this house is fucking annoying.
'Kill them all' the whisper sounded like it was coming from behind me but I knew it was just one of the many voices that corrupted my mind.
They'd been more active as of late.
'Do it,' another pressed
I would if I could.
The small girl got to her feet and Toby called her over.
She skipped to him, her auburn curls bouncing as she went. She's hands down the most happy-go-lucky little shit I've ever seen in my life, and that upsets me.
She was tall for her age and was the splitting image of her mother.
Camilla.
I fought back a growl. I wanted nothing to do with her or her kid but here I was stuck with babysitting duty while she was off being careless, not that her daughter needed much protection.
At the end of the day, I wasn't fond of kids so having to keep an eye on the ticking time-bomb that was Rose, was not how I wanted to spend my night.
After what had happened all those years ago Camilla was still resentful and refused to talk to me, now the only thing I wanted to do was strap her down and-
'Carve her eyes out.'
'Peel her skin off.'
'Shove your crowbar up her-'
I scoffed. I need to leave this place.
My vision was slowly turning red and every fiber in my being seemed to be chanting with unrest, craving blood. The voices rose up again, a deafening cry that didn't go away when I pressed my hands over my ears.

'Blood!'
'Useless. They're useless.'
'Do it!'
'Kill them!'
"Alright!" With a huff I got off the couch, grabbing my crowbar and heading to the door.
"A-aren't you gonna tell Rose goodbye?"
"Fuck off!'' I growled and slammed the door behind me. As if on cue Hoodie was by my side. He was silent as we walked.
In our endless mission of bringing Slenderman his souls we could always find enjoyment. They say you should do what you love and there's nothing I loved more than defiling what I deemed useless- and most humans are useless as ever.
Brian needed no explanation. Someone, somewhere out there was going to die at our hands tonight.

The Cabin was well lit and music blared from unseen speakers as I watched from my perch in a tree beside the big glass windows that shed light out onto the flower garden outside. Inside the teens were making themselves comfortable, a certain blonde couple making me almost nauseous as I watched them grind against each other into the large L-shaped couch.
The others were acting oblivious to them, however.
I'd counted seven so far.
I already sent Hoodie to go find the fuse box to shut the power off. If it worked the way I was thinking, they would send the two bravest or buffest guys to come check it out.
But this wasn't our first rodeo.
As soon as they stepped foot outside they'd be at our mercy—and as good as dead.
This cabin full of teens would be our little playground for the next couple hours.
How promising.
Someone from inside caught my gaze and I watched her with unmoving eyes. I hadn't seen her before so my count was up to eight now. She was standing in the far corner of the room, hugging her own arms as she looked around her with wide brown eyes.
Everyone else is having fun. You should too, it'll be your last chance to.
I chuckled at the thought.
Her thick curly hair was caught in two cute puffs, a few stray curls framing her babyish face as she looked around with wide eyes like she'd never seen anything like this before.
Judging from her attitude she probably hadn't.
She was pretty ordinary for the most part and her lips were plump and had a natural pucker to them. Maybe before I killed her I could make her scream especially loud with that mouth of hers, just for me.
Shaking my head to discard the thought I watched the happenings for another couple minutes wondering where the hell Hoodie was and why the power was still on.
The entire group was gathering in the living room now making a circle on the floor and a bottle was placed in the middle.

Pinching the bridge of my nose in annoyance I continued to watch as the bottle was spun. The girl was still watching from the wall but was soon waved over and took her place between two guys looking flustered. My eye twitched lightly.
I must be getting impatient.
The bottle was spun again, stopping on a random ginger haired girl who giggled as she removed her top, being left in a black bra and I used the knife to clink against my teeth.
Interesting.
More and more spins and gradually each person was beginning to take articles of clothing off leaving most of them shirtless or in underwear, the girl had taken off her sweater and it was her turn to remove her small pink top.
Shaking her head she got to her feet. I couldn't hear anything from where I sat but the blonde from earlier was obviously upset and got up to confront her, pushing her to the floor. She managed to land a drunken blow to the fallen girl before the guys dragged her off upstairs.
Somehow the scene made me upset and I gritted my teeth pulling my mask down to cover my face once more.
No worries; you'll get what's coming to you.
As the curly haired girl pulled her sweater back on and sat on the couch I went onto a lower branch to get a closer look at her.
She had a few sets of piercings on her ears but other than that everything about her was fairly natural. I wondered if the golden tips of her hair was natural too or had she dyed it that way.
Tch. Why would I care about something like that at a time like this?
Her head suddenly snapped up to look through the window and I wasn't sure if she saw me or not but her brows furrowed noticeably and in the next instant the lights went out making me smirk.
It's showtime.
I jumped out of my spot in the trees and waited outside the house, hearing muffled voices inside before the front doors busted open and a tall guy stepped out shirtless with an arrogant smirk, another more muscular guy with darker hair following behind him while trying to get his shirt on over his head.
Heh, so predictable.
They had the flashlights from their phones which they used to light their way as they went around back to the shed where they guessed the fuse box was.
'Now would be an awesome time for a storm' I thought as I followed the two, the others would be scared out of their minds and if they all stayed in it would be easier to keep track of our kill and make sure none got away. But I guess a challenge would be nicer.
As the first one ventured inside the shed I snuck up from behind and grabbed the other, covering his mouth. He was a few inches taller than me so I had to act quickly and my blade was jammed into his back a couple times as he let out muffled screams before throwing his elbow back. It knocked against my ribcage causing a harsh pain to slice through my side.
A few stabs later he went still.
Almost too easy.
Blood dripped from my knife and was smeared across my hand as I released the limp body, smirking to myself as I pushed the door to the shed open.
I came mask to hood with Brian who had blood dripping from a machete in one hand as he dropped the head of the blonde male at my feet making me smirk. Smart. He knew the gun would've alerted the others and it was way too early for that.
"Told you this would be fun," I grinned only getting a grunt from him. I kicked the discarded head and turned, heading back to the house.
Trying the front door I found it to be locked and I grunted stepping back about to kick it down when I heard someone's feminine voice on the other side.
"Dylan? Is that you?"
I wondered if it was the curly haired girl.
"Dylan?"
"It's not him Steph don't open it," another, almost innocent sounding voice joined hers.
"Shut up Kit, no one asked you!"
"I just think-"
"Shut up! Gosh who the fuck even invited you anyway? You spoiled our whole night and now the lights are out!"
All that came after was the light sounds of footsteps leading away and I gritted my teeth signaling to Hoodie that we should split up.
There was some whispering but I could barely hear what was being said.
"-not her fault.."
"Might as well- -voodoo or something-"
I scoffed as they continued to talk. There was a window open on the second floor that I could get into from the tree I was spying from earlier. After that I would toy with them for a little while.
This was just what I needed to get my mind off things.

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
