Officer Chad couldn't take his eyes off of Detective Cameron Lee. He's still curious about his partner's nightmares because he really seemed bothered after waking up from those nightmares. Devius wanted to ask but he is aware that it wasn't his business. He also doesn't want to make it hard for Detective Lee.
"Keep staring at me and I'll pull your eyes out." Devius quickly shifted his eyes to other direction when Detective Lee spoke.
"Who's staring at you? No one's staring at you." He slightly panicked for no reason.
"Tss! Get up, we have to go somewhere." Detective Lee commanded.
Officer Chad looked at him confusedly and asked, "Where are we going, senior?"
"I got some information that someone might know the culprit and he works at the bar." Detective Lee answered.
"Does that mean we might also find a clue about Michael's mother?" He excitedly asked, Detective Lee nodded. "Then, let's go to that bar right now, senior."
"Wait a minute, Chad." Cameron stopped Officer Chad who was about to head to the door.
"What is it? Did you forget something, senior?" Devius innocently queried.
Detective Lee took a deep breath and faced him directly. "Will you stop calling me senior? I sounded too old with how you address me."
"What do you want me to call you, then?"
"Cai..."
"What?"
"Just call me Cai." Cameron explained.
A big smile curved on Officer Chad's lips upon hearing it. "Aye! Aye! Captain, I mean, Cai."
"Tss. What's there to be so happy about?" Detective Lee rolled his eyes trying to hide the smile in his lips. "Let's go, now." He diverted the subject.
"Ehem! Wait, wait. You can't go there looking like that." Chief Simon interrupted them.
"Chief!" Both men saluted.
Chief Simon smiled and walk towards them. "You don't have to be so formal." She said.
"Anyway, Chief, what do you mean we can't go there like this?" Officer Chad questioned her while looking at himself.
"Yeah, we're only going to investigate." Detective Lee seconded.
"Tsk! Tsk! Tsk!" Chief Simon shook her head while sighing. "Yes, you're going to investigate and you guys look exactly like a man of authority."
"Because we are." Cameron stated.
"I know, that's why you need some disguise. Come with me." She held them in their wrists and pulled them together to her office.

When the door was finally swung open, two fancy clothes were exposed to them. Detective Lee and Officer Chad both looked at each other, confused. They looked at the clothes again then turned to their superior in unison.
"What is all these?" Cameron asked.
Chief Simon turned to them with a smile. "You'll wear that at the bar." She enunciated.
"WHAT!?" They both asked.
"Chief, I'm not wearing that. I'm already thirty years old and I'm not wearing an outfit for a teenager." Detective Lee stubbornly refused immediately.
Officer Chad's reaction was different because there were traces of joy and excitement on his face while looking at the clothes. He smiled and turned to Cameron.
Cameron already know what was in his partner's mind. "No, I won't wear that, Chad." He firmly said.
"Cai, you'll look great in those. Trust me, you don't look like your age at all. You even look younger than me." Devius argued.
Detective Lee looked at him blankly in the eyes. "I'm still not going to wear that. You can wear them if you want but it's not my style." He strongly refused.
"But the one you're wearing the night we met was even more stylish that these." Devius said, remember their first encounter.
Detective Lee was speechless. He couldn't argue because he did wear a more fancy clothes the day that he met Officer Chad.
"Cameron, just think that you're doing this for the job. Just work, nothing personal." Chief Simon persuaded him.
"No, I'm not wearing that cheesy teenager outfit and it's final. I'm sorry, Chief." Detective Lee said and turned his back on them.
After the door was shot, Devius turned to his superior with a smile. "I'll handle him, Chief, don't worry." He assured her.
"Goodluck and br careful." Chief Simon stated sincerely.
Devius nodded and saluted before leaving the office with the clothes. He looked around for his partner but he didn't see even Cameron's shadow. Officer Chad headed straight out and there he found Detective Lee sitting inside the car. He walked towards his partner with a smile, carefully placed the clothes at the back and then get inside.
As soon as he's in, Devius smiled and turned to Cameron. "Cai—"
"No, Chad." Detective immediately cut his sentence.
"You don't really wanted to try?"

"No." That was Cameron's final answer.
Yet several minutes later, he found himself wearing the same clothes at Chief Simon's officer earlier. No matter how many times he sighed, he couldn't do anything because as Chief Simon said, it was for work. They found out that the bar won't let just anyone in. Even if he is very against it, he has to wear the clothes in order to get in.
Chief Simon made him wear a black turtle neck inside topped with a grey coat and a black jeans. It was paired with a brown ankle boots. Along with the 'diguise' were one chain earring and a chain designed for his black pants. He looked exactly like a model. He doesn't look like a thirty year old anymore.
While Cameron's face was serious and expressionless, Devius was all smiling, as if he had won a lottery. He couldn't stop admiring his partner's visual. He doesn't really know why Cameron wouldn't want to dress up because he certainly look like an goddamn model. He could become an idol.
"Woah! You look so good, Cai. I told you, you really don't look like your age." Cameron heard Officer Chad's compliments but he still feels uncomfortable with his clothes.
"Stop talking. I'm still annoyed by these—" When he turn around to face Devius, he was cut of his sentence.
Officer Chad was wearing a black ripped jeans, black polo that was buttoned up only until his chest. Two buttons aren't done, so his collarbone and chest was exposed freely. It was tucked in on his pants and paired with a black rubber shoes. He's also wearing an earring on both of his ears, a black choker was designed on his neck. He even used an artificial white dye for his hair.
Detective Lee watched him walk towards his direction with the most beautiful smile he had ever seen. Everything he sees was in a slow motion. Cameron felt his heart beating strangely. It's as if he had been running for miles. He couldn't take his eyes off of Officer Chad. He even felt his blood rising from his veins to his face.
"Detective Lee?" A snap on his face brought him back to his senses.
"What?"
"Cai, d-do I look bad?" Officer Chad asked awkwardly.
"Huh?" He asked in confusion.
He didn't even noticed that Devius has been standing in front of him for quite some time now and asking him about how he looked like. While he's busy enjoying the handsome sight in front of him, Officer Chad was asking him about how he looked.
"He's asking you if he looks alright, he looks awesome, doesn't he?" Chief Simon excitedly repeated.
"Chief Simon? When did you come here?" He asked in confusion.
Chief Simon raised her eyebrow. "I've been here since Devius started asking you if he looks fine." She answered with teasing tone.
"So? Do I look fine, Cai?" Devius asked again.
Cameron couldn't deny the fact that Devius looked stunning. He even felt this strange heartbeat while he was looking at him. But he just couldn't admit it out loud.
"You look just, let's go." He simply said and walked out.
Devius was a bit disappointed as he watch his partner walk away. For some reason, he felt a kind of sad because he was expecting that Cameron would compliment him too by the way he looked at him earlier. Although he already got used of his senior's personality, he still wishes that Cameron will compliment him for once. He just sighed and smiled because in the short time he had been with this guy, he knew about Cameron's personality. He's sometimes hard to read, often unreadable. Nor does he learn to express true feelings. Officer Chad was happy because somehow he had seen the admiration earlier in his eyes. For him, that's enough. Even if he's kind of confused about himself because these passed few days, he had this feeling of wanting to impress Cameron.
"Devius, don't mind him. You look really handsome and I'm sure, a lot of girls will come at you at the bar." Chief Simon winked at him.
Officer Chad giggled. "Thank you, Chief but I'm going to there for work, nothing else." He mumbled.
"Hmm. Goodluck and take care. Call me if you need something because that stubborn guy, Cameron won't even bother." They both laughed because of Chief Simon's words.
After talking to his superior, Officer Chad followed Detective Lee to the car and drove to their destination.
