Eudaimonia (noun): the condition of living well

Cats were liquid. The fact was indisputable, albeit ignoring several laws of physics.

And the proof?

The bundle of silky fur sticking out of the flower vase like an exotic species of plant.

Somehow, beyond any human comprehension or universal principle, the Siberian cat had slinked into its owner’s thousand-dollar vase, as if its ink-tinged pelt of molten gold was the true flower to behold.

Its fluffy tail swished, once, twice.

Then, its adorably large ears popped out from the top of the vase, followed by a rather majestic and superior look on its face. A pink tongue swiped over its elegant whiskers, which twitched with critical judgment at its surroundings.

Suddenly, with an impossibly graceful jump, it fluttered out of the flower vase and escaped, landing on the ground with the sound of a falling feather.

One smug look, flung over its shoulders, and the cat swaggered off to its next napping spot.
