"Oh no." You got out of the white bed and peeked through the window. "I'm in the soul society again."
"It's alright, they won't be experimenting on you this time." He poured a cup of tea and offered it to you. "Orihime said this was good for relaxing."
The interesting smell should've told you it was her homemade brew. You held back the urge to gag at the bitter and strong tangy flavor. "Send her my thanks." There were a few knocks at the door before it flew open, you weren't given the chance to allow the person in. A woman with orange hair and large breasts rushed into the room, sitting beside you on the bed.
"I'm Rangiku, you must be the cute little demon causing trouble!" She grabbed at your face not caring that you were pulling away.
"Why are you so loud?" Tōshirō smacked her hands away and she started to do the same to him.
"I'm Kuchiki, Rukia." She was less energetic and her voice was a bit softer. She stood beside Ichigo to make way for the others following behind.
"Abarai, Renji. Pleasure to meet you." He reached out to shake your hand and you took it, only because it would've been awkward to leave him hanging.
"Why are you here?" Renji's eye twitched as he turned to Ichigo.
"Unlike you, I belong here substitute. Don't you have your career in the living world to worry about?"
"Careful, we both know I'll kick yo..." You blocked them out to focus on the others. Surely there was a reason for them flooding your room.
"Did you guys need me to do something? Why'd they send you here?" you asked.
"We heard you gained your memory and we want you to sign a treaty. Having a union would benefit both the demons and soul reapers, it'll cause fewer problems in the future." Rukia answered while trying to keep Renji and Ichigo from wrestling. She shoved them away from one another and they went their separate ways mumbling about each other.

"If you aren't feeling ill, it's time we visit the head captain." Tōshirō said.
All of you left the room and headed to the office with haste and found out they were waiting for a while.
"Why have you kept us waiting?" Suì-Fēng had her arms crossed as she waited for your answer.
"If you didn't send childish comrades, then maybe I would've got the message sooner." You smirked as she bared her teeth.
"No excuses! I know how you like to follow your own rules."
"This is about that incident that took place at the shop, isn't it? Hmm, it doesn't surprise me that you can hold a grudge."
"Okay firecracker." Shunsui waved his hands as if he were surrendering.
"Sorry, You wanted to see me, sir."
"There's a paper I wanted you to sign, but only if you're willing to go through with it. You've only just got your memories back and it can be a lot for people to find out that they were hurt by a loved one. There's no need to rush into the castle, you can take time to sort out your feelings if you want. The treaty will still be here until you've made up your mind."
"I understand your concern, but my feelings are clear on the subject of my grandmother trying to kill me. I don't want to sit and think about it, I want to kill her before she sends more people after me." You looked over the paper and the terms and conditions were easy to understand, so you signed it. "Why do you want me on your side now, didn't you guys already know about their existence?"
"Truth be told, I haven't, but surely Ichigo has since he's been known to attract the worst of the worst. With you on our side, we can become a great team and he's always bringing a new enemy to fight these days. Now that you signed the paper, what's the next step you want to take?"

"I was thinking to storm the castle and be done, but if you don't mind lending a hand, a few of your reapers would be nice."
"I'll go along. It's been a while since I had a good fight." Zaraki drew his blade as if the battle started.
"Now now, let's give the lieutenants a chance to show their skills. We can't throw captains in every situation, it looks bad, as if we don't have capable fighters." Shunsui said. "Abarai, Kira, Kuchiki, Kurosaki, and Matsumoto will go with you. Their powers should be useful on your trip to grandma's house."
"Thanks, I promise to do my best and send them back in one piece. We'll leave two days from now"
Shunsui ended the meeting and all of you disbanded. The lieutenants that were going with you went to their barracks to prepare for the battle.

Eight
His name is Eight. Not really, but that’s what the System decided after a slip of the tongue. One moment, he was stepping out the office door on the way home, and the next waking up on a hillside below a town wall. Oh, and the gate guard drove him off, because he thought Eight was a monster. Life’s tough when you’re trapped in an eight-year old body on another world. The first book focuses on Eight's survival on a dangerous new world. If you're a fan of Gary Paulsen's Hatchet, you'll enjoy it. The story is one of discovery, bushcraft, and finding one's way. Note that, while this is very much LitRPG, progression is slow, and Eight spends much of the first book alone. The second book recounts what happens when Eight and friends head east to the village of Voorhei. Expect a blend of fantasy adventure, ghost story, cozy mystery, and family drama. Books one and two make a complete story, while book 3 has just gotten underway.
