After 2 years...

It has been two long years since Roshni and I have not seen each other face to face, though have been talking over the phone and having video chats many times a day.

My parents punished me for not being able to tell them that I loved Roshni, not Myra. They took her to the USA with them as according to them she was too young to get married and she needed to finish her studies.

That day is still as fresh in my mind. They came from Myra's place and called me and Roshni. We both came and the whole family was present there.

" So you are old enough to get married on your own but not old enough and man enough to say that you don't want to marry a girl because you are in love with another one? " Dad said.

" I was shocked when my engagement was announced I want to tell everything to Chachi but I could not because they were so busy in the preparations the next day I thought that I would tell them about it after the party but I will be engaged in front of everyone and I could say a word because I did not want to spoil the relationship between his and my friends ."

" So, you could have told us that you didn't love Myra, we could talk to her parents, they are nice people, and would have understood. Sujoy or Mohit could have helped us. " Chachu said.

" I am sorry... I didn't know when and how to say this. And I was trying to control my emotions because I knew that this kind of relationship is not accepted well in our society she was my ward and people were already talking about it. I didn't want to create so many problems with all of us including Roshni. " I said.

" So what happened, later on, why did you change your mind? " mom asked.

" I beg your partner but I could not think of her with another man I was getting too possessive and overprotective about her I really wanted to kill all the boys over flirting with her. I could not even think of marrying my rap because she was... she liked someone else and I could not even think about anyone else but Roshni I swear I tried my level best but I could not stop thinking about her. If I had married Mira all three lives would have been spoilt... miserable. " I said.

" So what are you going to do about the fact that your relationship is considered in eyes of society? "

" I don't care anymore now... I will not leave her side even if I have to leave the right over the property grandpa gave me. I don't want to be the heir of the empire. You can take away everything if you want just give me my Roshni. I would die without her. "

" But don't you think she is too young to get married? " Chachi said.

" She is 19 and legally she can marry. The main thing is that we are already married. "

" Yes but she is too young to understand marriage and she has not completed her studies till now. "

" So, I am not stopping her from studying she will continue to study. Can pursue any career she wants I will help her with everything. " I said.

" But you can't start her married life excess like this because her concentration will lose and she would not be able to study. If I am not wrong you were the one who raised this objection when Raj wanted to get married to her." Chachi said.

" Yes, Even Raj was ready to do all that but you were not ready so what is special now, how can you bend your rules for yourself but not for others? " Chachu said.

" Because Raj was not in love with her, he wanted to marry someone else, but he could not get married to her so he thought of marrying Roshni because his family was pressurizing him but I am madly in love with Roshni and she loves me back, I can't live without her. " I said looking into his eyes.

" What if we don't approve of this marriage? " Dad asked.

" We are very upset that you spoilt all our friendships and other relations. They are so upset, you should have told us earlier, we could have talked to them and made them understand that the kids were not in love with each other and you wanted to get married to someone else. " I am really ashamed of what happened I never wanted it to happen like this but you people never give me chance to speak and I don't want to hurt all of you please have no Harsh feeling for her I told you I tried my level best to not to fall in love with her but madly and badly in love with her and I can't help it I can't live without her if I have to live happily ever After I have to live with her I can't choose any one out of you and her because choosing one means leaving the other one I am not using anyone of you but I am not leaving her if you don't want to see my face every day it's okay I can leave everything and go away with her because she doesn't have anyone else and her family other than m,e I will never leave her alone. I have taken vows in front of God and holy fire I can't break them. " I said.

" In that case, you would have to leave our house and forget that you have any relationship with us and you will have no power in money provided by the family to leave the house within 10 minutes. " Dad said.

" Ok!!! I will leave the money and power given to me by the family but I can't believe and pay back all the love support and care given by all of you. I can understand that I disappointed you and you don't want anything to do with us but I can't be I am not done anything wrong to me and I hope they will forgive me and keep in touch. " I said and Mahi burst into tears and rushed to me.

" I love you, bhai. I don't want you to go like that. I don't care what our parents say, you will always be my eldest brother. I love you. " She hugged me I tightened my arms around her.

Mihir also came in my support.

" How can you do that to him he has always been the most obedient one in the family. I don't want to be your heir. He is the one who deserves all this. Hd is the best brother and the best son. How can you put up such a condition in front of him? He loves Roshni and she loves him. We should support them she is a wonderful girl... What is the problem?? If she was good for Raj, why is she not right for bhai?? I don't care what you say. He is my elder brother and I have always considered her my sister and now legally she is my sister. And I would not leave them. If they leave, Mahi and I would leave with them. " He said standing with me. She was crying by now. I wanted to hug her but it didn't look good in front of my whole family so I caught her hand tightly. Mihir hugged Roshni.
