We walked in to the room and saw Ninjas from most villages. I looked at their headbands and sighed in relief as I haven't see any Kirigakure Shinobi. 'Why was I so stressed over it? The two villages aren't in the best of terms.' I thought as I stayed behind the other three.

"W-wow!" Naruto exclaimed.

"W-what's with... this?" Sakura asked as she gulped.

"Sasuke you're late!" A girl with blond hair and blue eyes exclaimed as she jumped at the Uchiha's neck. "I thought I'd be able to see you for the first time in awhile, so I was waiting in excitement."

'Don't tell me there are more of them!'

"Get away from Sasuke! Ino-Pig!"

"Oh my. It's Sakura! Your Billboard Brow hasn't changed, eh... Ugly!"

"What did you say?!"

"Are all the Konoha rookies like this? If yes, I'll go somewhere else..." I muttered so noone could hear me.

"What's up with this? Are you guys going to take this bothersome Exam, too."

'Huh?' I looked at the one who spoke and saw his clan symbol. 'He is from the Nara clan.' Beside him is another boy. 'He is an Akimichi. If they are in the same team the girl has to be a Yamanaka. The new generation of Ino-Shika-Cho.'

"Oh, it's the idiot trio." Naruto said.

"Quit calling us that! Man, this is a freaking bother..." Nara exclaimed before I looked back at Sasuke and the blond girl.

"Sasuke... is mine. Bleah!" She said to Sakura.

'Are they still fighting over him?'

"Yahoo, I found you!" I looked over where the voice came from. A boy spoke with red fang markings on his face and a puppy resting on the top of his head. 'Inuzuka.' On the right side of him is a Hyuga girl and on the left must be a Aburame clan member.

"My my, everybody's here." Inuzuka greeted.

"H-hello..." The girl said. 'She seems so shy and gentle... I wonder if she's skilled enough to make it at least to the Second Exam's end.'

Naruto looked at her and she blushed and looked away.

"You guys, too?! Man."

"Ha! I see. This means all nine Genin rookies are taking the Exam, eh...! Now then. How far can we go? Eh... Sasuke?" Inuzuka continued.

"You're mighty confident. Kiba." Uchiha said. 'Oh, so that's the Inuzuka's name.'

"We've trained a great deal, so... We won't lose to you guys!" Kiba exclaimed.

I stepped away from the wall I was leaning against. "I wouldn't get overconfident... Inuzuka." They all looked at me in shock, except Team 7, of course. They just smirked.

"Who are you and how couldn't I sense you!?" Inuzuka asked.

"I masked my Chakra, plus even if you have a great smelling, there are a lot of people in the room." I answered, looking towards the other Shinobi.

"You're a Konoha Genin, right? How came I've never seen you around the village. Where is your team?"

"Smart. Just what I excepted from a Nara. And to answer your question, those three idiot's are my teammates." I nodded at the three Team 7 members. "Though... I will take the Exams alone."

"And why didn't we see you before?"

"I came to the village a few weeks ago."

"And why take the Exams alone? The Hokage could get a team for you if you wanted to." He said.

"They would only slow me down." I replied.

At this, everyone who listened our conversation laughed. Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura still had a smirk on their faces.

"And what's with the sword on your back? You are barely taller than Naruto! I bet you can't even use it properly!" Inuzuka yelled.

I gritted my teeth in annoyance. "This sword was my master's! If you can't even identify this sword, you can't call yourself a Ninja! Idiot little Genin!"

"You're a Genin, just like everyone else here, aren't you?"

"I would watch my tounge if I were you." A guy with gray hair and round glasses came to our way. As he said that everyone became quiet.

"You guys are the "rookie nine"... fresh out of the academy, right?" He asked. "Carrying on like that with cute faces... Man. This isn't a field trip."

"Who are you? Acting all haughty!" Yamanaka shouted.

"I'm Kabuto Yakushi. Anyway, take a good look around you." He said and the nine rookies all turned. "Behind you..." He started but I cut him off.

"They're from the Hidden Rain Village." I said.

"Yeah. They are hot tempered. Everyone's tense before the Exam. I thought I warn you guys before you get your butts whipped..." He continued.

"I guess it can't be helped. You're rookies who don't know it left from right... You remind me of my old self."

"You're Kabuto... right?"

"Yes..."

"Then, is this your second time?"

"No... It's my seventh time. This Exam is only held twice a year, so this is my fourth year."

"Then you know a lot about these exams?!" Sakura asked hoping she could ask some questions about them.

"Kind of..." He replied with a smile.

"No kidding. Kabuto, you're pretty awesome, huh?"

"But you haven't passed." Nara and I said at the same time, making us look at each other. We just shrugged it off and looked back at Kabuto.

"Yeah, well, that is the case, yes..." Kabuto said while scratching the back of his head and laughing nervously.

"Is the Chunin Exam that high a hurdle? Man, this is utterly bothersome..."

"Then, maybe I'll give a bit of information to my cute juniors." He said as he pulled out something from his pockets. "With these Ninja Info Cards."

"Ninja Info Cards?" Sakura repeated.

"To put it, simply, they're cards that have information burned into them and coded with Chakra." He crouched down and put the cards to the ground. "I spent four whole years gathering information for this Exam."

"These are close to two hundred of these cards." He took one off of the top of the pack and put it to the ground with it's other side up. "They are pure white to the eye..."He put one finger to the card. "To open the data on these cards..." He trailed off.

"What are you doing?" Sakura asked with a confused expression.

"If you concentrate strong enough, you can sense the Chakra, he started to flow into the card. I mean it is easy for me. A Sharingan or a Byakugan user easily can tell it, too." I explained with my arms crossed.

"Yes. The way it works is that no one can see the info without using my Chakra... For example... Like this..." As he finished there was a puff of smoke around the card. When it disappeared, we saw a map of where the candidates came from and how many are of them.

"Whoa, awesome! What information is this?" Sakura asked. Again...

They started to talk about why they hold the Exam jointly after Kabuto explained what information is on the card to Sakura. I started to listen again when Sasuke finally said something.

"Of those cards, are there ones with detailed individual information?" 'Oh... It seems to get interesting.'

"Yes, there are... Are there ones you're concerned about?"

"Yes, there are."

"The information for the applicants this time around is not perfect, but is burned in and saved. You guys included... About those "ones you're concerned about" who you know. Anything's fine, tell me their information and I'll retrieve it for you."

"Gaara of the Sand Village, and Rock Lee of the Leaf Village." Sasuke said.

"And that girl too." Nara said as he pointed at me. "You seem to know who she is." He added but I just smirked.

"Oh, you even know two names out of the three. That makes it quicker." Kabuto then pulled out three card and held it in his right hand. "Here they are!"

"Please show me." The Uchiha said as he stared at the three cards. 'I haven't heard him saying "please" in the short time I've know him."

"Well then, first is Rock Lee."

"He's one year older than you guys. His mission experience, 20 D-Ranks and 11 C-Ranks. His leader is Guy... In just this year, his Taijutsu has drastically improved, but... his other skills are not good at all. Last year, he'd attracted attention as a Genin rookie with his ability, but didn't participate in the Chunin Exam. This is his first time taking the exams, same as you guys... Tenten and Neji Hyuga are on his team..."

"Next... is Gaara of the Desert."

"His mission experience is 8 C-Ranks and B-Ranks..." He trailed off. "Wow, one B-Rank as a Genin, eh... He's a Shinobi from a different land and is a rookie, so there is no further detailed information. But... It seems he has returned from all of his missions uninjured."

"B-Rank as a Genin... But uninjured?!" Nara asked.

"Why are y'all so shocked? It is nothing, B-Ranks are really easy." I say and they all look at me.

"It is for you! B-Rank was the easiest you did before coming here!" Naruto yelled.

Kabuto just chuckled, Sasuke and Sakura smirked and the other stared at me in shock.

Kabuto flowed Chakra into the third card and it showed my information, though I stopped Kabuto from showing it to the others.

"Wait here a bit and don't show them. I want to get something back first." He nodded and I walked to the direction of three Hidden Sand Shinobi.

"Hey where are you going?" Akimichi asked but soon they looked at where I was heading.

"Don't tell me-" Nara started but I didn't hear the end of it as I was farther away and the other Genin were all talking around me.

"Hey Temari, can you give back my book? I need it." She looked at me and her eyes widened.

"Y-yes, of course." She then reached to her pouch and handed back my book.

After that I thanked and went back to the nine rookie.

"Hey! Don't be so reckless! Don't go near that guy! He's dangerous and you know it!" Sakura scolded me.

I decided to ignore her and turned towards Kabuto.

"Now you can show them." I told him and he nodded.

"Then the last is Hoshigaki Kasumi." At this silence took over the whole room, however five of the Konoha rookies looked around, not knowing what happened. My team already knew but i didn't know about the Nara.

He stared at me for a while. "What are you doing here?" He asked.

"What are you talking about, Shikamaru?" Yamanaka spoke.

"If you're lucky, your answers are on that card so I recommend you to stay quiet."

"If you guys are done I'll show you." Kabuto said.

"Okay then. As I said, her name is Hoshigaki Kasumi."

"Mission experience 11 D-Ranks, 0 C-Ranks, 158 B-Ranks, 127 A-Ranks and 84 S-Ranks. There is also 37 completed mission that are higher than S-Rank. She was a Kunoichi of Hidden Mist before she went Rogue and joined Zabuza Momochi. No one in the Hidden Mist knows about why did she run away, but there are some theories about it. Some thinks she went after her brother, while others say she worked under someone to gather information on the Village and the Mizukage. She is a S-Ranked Ninja in the Bingo Book with a high bounty. One more thing about her missions. She only have got solo missions and she always got back with only a few scratches or bruises. That's all information I have about her."

Everyone stared at the smirking girl in shock. Even her teammates didn't know she has completed this many missions and got back with only small injuries.

Naruto's head was down and his eyes was closed. Both of his hands closed in a fist and his teeth gritted together.

His pink haired teammate was about to go and try to comfort him, when he suddenly shouted and pointed at the other candidates, grinning.

"My name is Uzumaki Naruto!" He started his usual little speech. "I won't lose to any of you! Got it?!" He shouted in a loud voice.

After he went quiet, everyone started muttering among themselves.

Kabuto stood up and the Inuzuka started to mock the blond.

"What are you talking big for?! You!" Sakura scolded as he put Naruto in a chokehold.

"But, I just said what was true!" The blond defended.

When the pink haired girl realized everyone was glaring at them, she tried to put all the blame to Naruto, reasoning his whole outburst with him begin an idiot.

After that she went back to the others and continued scolding her teammate.

The thing no one, except a few people noticed, was the three Sound Ninja, that went to attack them.

One jumped up and pulled out four Kunai knives and aimed two of them to Kabuto's feet. He jumped back but another came and held up a hand sign in front of himself.

Kabuto's eyes widened as the Shinobi clenched his other hand into a fist and went to punch him in the face. He barely dodged with leaning back.

The Sound Shinobi threw another punch and he jumped back again.

Kabuto stopped when there was no more attacks coming and smirked at him, when suddenly his glasses cracked and broke. The small glass pieces fell to the ground.

Kabuto stood up straight and took down his now broken glasses' frame off.

"I see... It's that kind of attack, eh?"

Sasuke went closer to see what happened.

"How? I saw him dodging the punch." The Uchiha boy said. "Why did that happened to his glasses?" He added a question.

"They are from Otogakure for a reason. The Village Hidden in the Sound. What do you think they use to attack?" Kasumi asked.

The Nara boy's face lit up in realization. "They use sound to attack?" The girl just nodded.

Kabuto's eyes widened as he fell to his knees and threw up.

He started coughing and Naruto and Sakura went to help him.

"Write this on your card. The three from the Sound village will doubtlessly become Chunin at the end of this Exam."

At this both the blond and pink haired Genin gritted their teeth in annoyance.

Suddenly a cloud of smoke appeared at the other end of the room and a man with scars appeared with a bunch of Chunin behind him.

"Pipe down you baby faced degenerates!" He yelled. "Sorry to keep you waiting...! I'm Ibiki Morino, proctor for the first test of the Chunin Exam, and from now on your worst enemy."

"You, from the Hidden Sound Village! No doing as you please before the Exam! Do you want to get disqualified before we even get started?!"

"Sorry. It's our first time taking the Exams, so we flipped out... despite ourselves." One of them apologized, although, he clearly didn't mean it.

Ibiki smirked. "Hmph. This is a good oppurnity, so I'll say this. There will be no battles, competitions and the like without the permission of the proctors! And even if you get permission, actions that could lead to death of an opponent will not be permitted. Any pig that screws with me will be disqualified immediately. Got it?!" He shouted.

"Now then, we will start the first test of the Chunin Exam! Turn in your applications, take one of these number cards in exchange, and sit in the seat matching that number! After that, we will hand out the paper for the written test!"

Naruto started whining about the written test and we all went to our places.

I sit behind Sakura and between two random person.

"There are several important rules to this first test. I will take no questions, so listen carefully!"

"First off the first rule! You are given ten points each from the start! The written test has ten question in all! Each question is one point. And, this test is a deduction system. You are deducted one point for each question you get wrong! If you get three wrong, you'll have seven points!"

"The second rule. Pass or fail will be determined by the total points of the teams."

There was a loud bang heard as Sakura head-butted the table. "W-wait a minute! What do you mean... total points of the teams?" She yelled.

"Shut up! There is a perfectly good reason for this! Shut up and listen!" Ibiki shouted.

I chuckled from behind her quietly, so no one can hear me.

"If you've got it, here is the most important next rule!"

"Those who are deemed by sentinels as having committed an act of cheating or something similar to that... will have two points deducted for each act-"

After he said that I stopped listening. I take this exam alone so I don't have to worry about others.

When Ibiki said we can flip the paper, I looked at the questions. Average Genin... no, even Chunin most couldn't solve these.

I don't know about the others but I and maybe even Sakura can do this. Sasuke has the Sharingan and Naruto is sitting beside the Hyuga girl.

Even if I didn't talk to her yet, it's obvious she likes that blond idiot.

Also... about the favor the Hokage asked...

"Before you go I want to ask a favor from you." The Hokage said after he gave me an A-Rank mission.

"What would it be?" I'm starting to get curious. He is not the type who asks a favor from a Genin, even if that Genin was an S-Ranked criminal.

"I suppose you heard about the upcoming Chunin Exams." I nod.

"I want you to help out with the first part of it. It will be a written exam."

There was a knock heard.

"Come in." Hokage-sama said.

The person who came through the door was Ibiki Morino, the head of the ANBU Torture and Interrogation unit, or as people call it, T&I. He was also there when I talked to the Hokage, among many other people.

"Hokage-sama." He bowed. "May I ask why is she here?"

"She will be helping you with the first part of the Exam."

It is finally time for the last question.

"Alright! Here is the tenth question!" Ibiki suddenly shouted.

"But before that, I'm going to add some rules for the last question."

When he was about to start, Kankuro came back. Appearently, he had to use the bathroom... 'Who would fall for a lie like this one?'

"Aren't you lucky? It looks like playing with the dolls wasn't a waste after all?" I smirked at this. "Anyway, sit down."

After he sat back to his seat Ibiki begun.

"Let me explain! These are the hopeless rules!"

"First, you guys have to chose whether or not you will take this tenth question!"

"What chose?! What happens if you chose not to take the 10th question?" Temari asked.

"If you chose not to take the exam, then your score will be zero." He started with a smirk. "In other words, you fail! And of course, the same goes for the others in the same group!"

Everyone started to say they all will take the exam while I just smirked.

"And... one more rule..."

"If you chose to take it, and are unable to answer it correctly, then not only will you fail the exam, but you can't take the Chunin Exams ever again!"
