၂၆၉။ ရဲတင်းလွန်းလိုက်တာ
လျူကျွင်းသည် သူမကို ကူကယ်ရာမဲ့စွာကြည့်ကာ
“ရဲတင်းလွန်းလိုက်တာ။ နင်က တကယ့်ကို ဘာကိုမှ မကြောက်ဖူးပဲ”
“ယုံကြည်မှုရှိတယ်လို့ခေါ်တယ်!”
လင်းချင်းက ပြောသည်။
“ပြီးတော့လည်း ဒါကငါ့ကမ္ဘာ။ ဒီနယ်မြေရဲ့ ပိုင်ရှင်ကြီးက ငါလေ ဒါနဲ့ နင်ငါမေးတာကို မဖြေရသေးဘူးနော်။ နင်သူတို့ကို သိလားလို့?”
လျူကျွင်းက ခုံတွင်ထိုင်နေသည့်သူများကို ကြည့်ကာ
“ဟေးဒီးစခန်းကလူအများစုက သူတို့ကို သိကြတာပေါ့။ နင်ပြန်မှတ်မိရင် သူတို့ကို သေချာသိမှာပါ”
“ဒီလိုလား? သူတို့က ငါနဲ့ဘာဆိုင်လို့လဲ?”
လင်းချင်းက သိချင်စွာဖြင့် မေးသည်။
လျူကျွင်းသည် မျက်လုံးကိုလှန်ကာ
“ဆိုင်တာပေါ့။ သူတို့အကုန်လုံးက နင့်လက်အောက်ငယ်သားတွေ”
လင်းချင်းသည် သူမကိုကြည့်ကာ မယုံနိုင်စွာဖြင့် ရေရွတ်သည်။
“ဟင်? မဖြစ်နိုင်တာ။ တိုက်တိုက်ဆိုင်ဆိုင် ကယ်လာမိတဲ့သူတွေက ငါ့လက်အောက်ကလူတွေလား? သူတို့က လင်းဖန်တို့နဲ့ ရင်းနှီးနေတာ မဆန်းတော့ပါဘူး။ ငါက အချင်းချင်းသိကြတယ်ပဲ ထင်နေတာ”
သူမသည် ဒီလူများကို နယ်မြေထဲသို့ ထည့်လာပြီးနောက် သိပ်သတိမထားမိခဲ့ပေ။ လင်းမိသားစုက အံ့သြတကြီးဖြစ်တာမြင်တော့ သူမသည် အချင်းချင်းသိသည်ဟုသာ ထင်ကာ အများကြီးတွေးကြည့်မနေတော့ဘဲ နယ်မြေထဲတွင်ထားကာ ထွက်သွားတာ ဖြစ်သည်။
“ယန်ကျင်းဟွာကို လွှတ်ပေးလိုက်တာလား?”
ယန်ကျင်းဟွာအကြောင်း မေးသည့်အခါ လင်းချင်းသည် လက်ဖြန့်ပြကာ
“ဟုတ်တယ်။ သူငါ့ကို မကောင်းတာ တော်တော်လုပ်ခဲ့တယ် ကြားပင်မယ့် ဘာမှမမှတ်မိဘူး။ ငါအခုလက်စားချေရင်လည်း အဓိပ္ပါယ်ရှိမှာ မဟုတ်ဘူး။ ပြန်မှတ်မိတဲ့အထိ အချိန်ယူပြီးမှပဲ ရှင်းတော့မယ်။ ပြီးတော့လည်း ငါ့လက်ရှိအစွမ်းက သူ့ကိုထိခိုက်အောင် လုပ်မရသေးဘူး။ သူလည်း ငါ့ကိုထိခိုက်အောင် မလုပ်နိုင်ပါဘူး”
လျူကျွင်းသည် သူမကိုကြည့်ကာ ဖြေသည်။
“ဟုတ်တယ်။ ဒါပင်မယ့် မှတ်ဉာဏ်တွေ ပြန်ပေါ်အောင် ဘယ်လိုလုပ်ရမလဲ ငါတို့မှ မသိတာ။ နင်အဲ့နေရာကို ပြန်ရောက်လည်း ဘာမှမမှတ်မိသေးရင် ဘယ်လိုလုပ်မလဲ? သူ့ကိုအရှင်ဆက်ထားနေမှာလား?”
လင်းချင်းသည် သူမကိုတစ်ချက်ကြည့်ကာ
“အဲ့နေရာကို သွားပြီးလို့ ဘာမှမမှတ်မိသေးရင် နောက်တစ်နည်းရှာရမှာပဲ။ ဒါပင်မယ့်လည်း သူကမျက်နှာပြောင်ပြီး ငါ့ရှေ့မှာ ထပ်ပေါ်လာလို့ကတော့ ငါသူ့ကို လွှတ်ပေးမှာ မဟုတ်တော့ဘူး”
လျူကျွင်းသည် ဘာကိုဆက်ပြောရမလဲ မသိစွာကြည့်နေသည်။ ထို့နောက် ခေါင်းစဉ်ပြောင်းလိုက်ကာ
“ဒီနယ်မြေလေးက ဘယ်ကလဲ? ငါ့အထင် ဒီလိုနယ်မြေလေးမျိုးတွေ ထပ်ရရင် ပိုအဆင်ပြေမယ်။ နင်မြင်တဲ့အတိုင်း ဒါကနင့်အိမ်လို ဖြစ်နေပြီးတော့ လူတွေကို ခနခနခေါ်လာနေတက်တာ။ အပြင်ကနေ အိမ်တစ်လုံးလောက် ထည့်လိုက်ပါလား? ဒါဆိုရင် ငါတို့ပရိဘောဂတွေလည်း နေရာချရတာ လွယ်ပြီ။ သူတို့ကို မြက်ခင်းထဲမှာ ရပ်ခိုင်းထားရတာက နည်းနည်းမထူးဆန်းဘူးလား?”
လင်းချင်းသည် ပရိဘောဂများပုံထားသည့် နေရာနားက လူများကို တစ်ချက်ကြည့်သည်။ ပရိဘောဂများသည် အခုနည်းနည်းသပ်ရပ်နေတော့လည်း ကြည့်ရတာက တစ်မျိုးကြီး ဖြစ်နေသည်ကတော့ အမှန်ပင်။
သူမသည် နယ်မြေထဲကို အိမ်တစ်လုံးထည့်ဖို့ တွေးဖူးသော်လည်း ပြဿနာက ရှိနေသည်။
“အပြင်က အဆောက်အဦးတိုင်းက မြေပေါ်မှာ ဆောက်ထားတာ။ ငါကမြေကြီးနဲ့ ဆက်နေတဲ့ပစ္စည်းဆိုရင် နယ်မြေထဲကိုထည့်မရဘူး။ ဆိုလာတွေကိုပဲကြည့်။ အဆောက်အဦးဆိုရင်လည်း တစ်ယောက်ယောက်က ဖယ်ပေးထားမှ ငါသွင်းရမှာ”
လျူကျွင်းသည် သဘောတူစွာဖြင့် ခေါင်းငြိမ့်သည်။ တကယ်ပြဿနာရှိသည်။
“ယွမ်ထန်ရှင်းပြန်လာတာကိုစောင့်ပြီး သူ့ကိုအကူအညီတောင်းမှပဲ။ ဒီလိုနယ်မြေလေးတွေ ရဖို့ကတော့ နေရာလွတ်စွမ်းအားရှင် ဒါမှမဟုတ် နေရာလွတ်ဇွန်ဘီကို သတ်ဖို့လိုမယ် ထင်တယ်”
သူမ၏နယ်မြေအဆင့်မြင့်သွားတုန်းက ဒီနယ်မြေ၏ သဘောသဘာဝတချို့ကို သူမနားလည်ခဲ့သည်။ ဒီနယ်မြေလေးသည် နေရာလွတ်စွမ်းအားရှင်၏ အမြူတေကို သူမစုပ်ယူခဲ့သောကြောင့် သူမ၏နယ်မြေတစ်စိတ်တစ်ပိုင်းဖြစ်လာတာ ဖြစ်သည်။ သူမသာ နေရာလွတ်စွမ်းအင်အမြူတေများရပါက သူမသည် နယ်မြေလေးများကို ထပ်ထည့်နိုင်မှာ ဖြစ်သည်။
“ဒီနယ်မြေလေးက သူများဆီက ရတာလို့ ပြောချင်တာလား? ဒါက တကယ်ဖြစ်လို့လား?”
လျူကျွင်းသည် အံ့သြစွာကြည့်သည်။
လင်းချင်းသည် သူမကိုကြည့်ကာ ခေါင်းအစခြေအဆုံးတစ်ချက်ကြည့်ပြီး
“နင်တော်တော်များများသိနေပြီပဲ။ နင့်နားလည်နိုင်စွမ်းကလည်း တကယ်မြင့်လာတယ်”
လျူကျွင်းသည် ပြုံးဖြဲဖြဲဖြင့် ပြောသည်။
“ငါဉာဏ်ကောင်းတာ ချီးကျူးချင်တယ်ဆိုရင်လည်း ဒီတိုင်းပြောရပါတယ်။ ရှက်မနေပါနဲ့”
လင်းချင်းသည် ဆွံ့အသွားရှာသည်။
“အခုအပြင်မှာ ဘယ်လိုလဲ?”
လျူကျွင်းက မေးသည်။
လင်းချင်းသည် မျက်လုံးမှိတ်ကာ အပြင်ကိုကြည့်သည်။ ထို့နောက် မျက်လုံးပြန်ဖွင့်ကာ
“ဟိုတယ်တစ်ခုလုံးခဲနေပြီ။ ဘယ်သူမှ ဝင်လို့ထွက်လို့ မရတော့ဘူး”
“ယန်ကျင်းဟွာကရော?”
လျူကျွင်းက မေးသည်။
ထိုအချိန်တွင် လင်းချင်းသည် ရုတ်တရပ် မျက်နှာမည်းသွားကာ
“ငါအပြင်ကို တစ်ချက်သွားကြည့်လိုက်ဦးမယ်”
ပြောပြီးသည်နှင့် သူမသည် နယ်မြေလေး၏အပေါက်ဝမှ ပျောက်သွားသည်။ လင်းချင်းသည် အမိုးပေါ်က လသာဆောင်ပေါ်တွင် ရပ်နေသည်။ လသာဆောင်၏တံခါးသည် ရေခဲနေကာ အထဲတွင် စစ်သားအချို့ရှိသည်။ သူမလှည့်ကြည့်သည့်အခါ သူမနားတွင် ရေခဲရုပ်များတွေ့ကာ အကုန်ုလုံးသည် ယန်ကျင်းဟွာ၏ စစ်သားများပင်။ သူမ၏မျက်နှာသည် ပိုမည်းလာကာ လူသတ်ချင်စိတ်တို့ ပိုပြင်းလာသည်။
လှေကားများကို ရေများကခဲနကာ။ အဆောက်အဦးတစ်ခုလုံးအား ယန်ကျင်းဟွာ၏ ရေခဲများက ဖုံးထားသည်။ အပြင်တွင်တော့ လင်းချင်းသည် သူတို့ဆီသွားတုန်းက ရိုက်ခဲ့သည့် စစ်သားများကို တွေ့လိုက်သည်။ ယန်ကျင်းဟွာသည် သူခေါ်လာသမျှ စစ်သားတိုင်းကို အဆင့်ငါးအဖွဲ့ခေါင်းဆောင်နှစ်ယောက်ပါ အပါအဝင် ခဲအောင်လုပ်၍ သတ်ပစ်တာဖြစ်သည်။ ထိုခေါင်းဆောင်နှစ်ယောက်သည် သေသွားသည့် စစ်သားများအတွက် အသနားခံပေး၍ သေသွားရခြင်းကိုတော့ လင်းချင်းမှာ မသိခဲ့ပေ။

“အရှင်ထားလည်း အသုံးဝင်တာမှ မဟုတ်တာ။ ငါတို့ပြန်တဲ့လမ်းမှာ ဇွန်ဘီအစားခံရမှာပဲ။ ငါသူတို့ကို အပိုင်းပိုင်းကိုက်စားခွင့် မပေးဘဲ ဒီလိုသေခွင့်ပေးတာက ပိုကောင်းသေးတယ်”

လင်းချင်းသည် သေသွားသည့် စစ်သားများကိုကြည့်ပြီး ရင်ထဲမကောင်းပေ။ ဒီစစ်သားများသည် ဟေးဒီးစခန်းက ဖြစ်သလို မသေသင့်ကြပေ။ ယန်ကျင်းဟွာသည် သူတို့မိသားစုကိုဖမ်းပြီး ခြိမ်းခြောက်ထား၍သာ လိုက်လာခဲ့ရသူများ ဖြစ်သည်။ သူတို့သည် ဒီလိုလုပ်ရင်း သေသွားလိမ့်မည်ဟု ဘယ်တုန်းကမှ ထင်ခဲ့မှာ မဟုတ်ကြပေ။ သူတို့အသက်များသည် ယန်ကျင်းဟွာအတွက် ဘာမှမဟုတ်ပေ။ သူစိတ်ကြည်နေရင် ရှင်ခွင့်ပေးထားကာ စိတ်မကြည်သည်နှင့် သူသတ်ပစ်သည်။
‘ဒီလိုကောင်မျိုးက အကြိမ်တစ်သောင်းတစ်သိန်းလောက်ကို သေသင့်တာ ဘယ်လိုလုပ် စခန်းခေါင်းဆောင်လုပ်ဖို့ တွေးနေတာလဲ? ငါမသတ်ရင်တောင်မှ တခြားသူတွေကြောင့် ကြာကြာရှင်မယ့်သူ မဟုတ်ဘူး!’
လင်းချင်းသည် လက်သီးကို တင်းနေအောင် ဆုပ်လိုက်သည်။
အဆောက်အဦးထဲက ရေခဲများသည် သာမန်ရေခဲမဟုတ်ပေ။ စွမ်းအားပါနေသောကြောင့် ပုံမှန်လို မပျော်ကာ ဖြည်းဖြည်းချင်း အရည်ပျော်ခြင်း သို့မဟုတ် ကွဲခြင်းလောက်သာ ဖြစ်လိမ့်မည်။ လင်းချင်းသည် သူမထိမိပါက အပိုင်းပိုင်းကွဲသွားမည်ကိုသိ၍ အမိုးပေါ်က ရေခဲရုပ်များကို မထိပေ။
သူမသည် နယ်မြေထဲသို့ ပြန်ဝင်လာကာ လျူကျွင်းအား
“ယန်ကျင်းဟွာက သူခေါ်လာသမျှ စစ်သားတွေ အကုန်လုံးကို ခဲအောင်လုပ် သတ်ပစ်လိုက်ပြီ!”
လျူကျွင်းသည် မျက်လုံးပြုတ်ကျမတက်ပြူးကာ
“ဘာ? ဘာဖြစ်လို့ သူ့လူကိုသူပြန်သတ်နေတာလဲ?”
“သူအားသုံးဆွဲခေါ်လာတဲ့သူတွေ”
လင်းချင်းက ပြောသည်။
“ကြည့်ရတာ ဒီလူတွေက သူ့ကိုမုန်းတာ သိနေပုံပဲ။ စခန်းကို အသက်ရှင်လျှက် ပြန်ခေါ်ဖို့ ဘယ်တုန်းကမှ အစီအစဉ်မရှိလောက်ဘူး”
“အတော်ရက်စက်တာပဲ!”
လျူကျွင်းက မယုံနိုင်စွာပြောသည်။
“ဒီလူတွေရဲ့အသက်က သူ့အတွက် ဘာမှမဟုတ်ဘူးလား?”
“ဒီလိုထင်တာပဲ”
လင်းချင်းက သက်ပြင်းချသည်။
“ယန်ကျင်းဟွာက ဒီလိုလူစားမျိုးမှန်း ငါမသိခဲ့ဘူး။ သစ္စာဖောက်ကောင်!”
လျူကျွင်းသည် အံ့သြစွာဖြင့် ရေရွတ်သည်။

“ၿပီးေတာ့လည္း ဒါကငါ့ကမာၻ။ ဒီနယ္ေျမရဲ႕ ပိုင္ရွင္ႀကီးက ငါေလ ဒါနဲ႕ နင္ငါေမးတာကို မေျဖရေသးဘူးေနာ္။ နင္သူတို႔ကို သိလားလို႔?”
လ်ဴကြၽင္းက ခုံတြင္ထိုင္ေနသည့္သူမ်ားကို ၾကည့္ကာ
“ေဟးဒီးစခန္းကလူအမ်ားစုက သူတို႔ကို သိၾကတာေပါ့။ နင္ျပန္မွတ္မိရင္ သူတို႔ကို ေသခ်ာသိမွာပါ”
“ဒီလိုလား? သူတို႔က ငါနဲ႕ဘာဆိုင္လို႔လဲ?”
လင္းခ်င္းက သိခ်င္စြာျဖင့္ ေမးသည္။
လ်ဴကြၽင္းသည္ မ်က္လုံးကိုလွန္ကာ
“ဆိုင္တာေပါ့။ သူတို႔အကုန္လုံးက နင့္လက္ေအာက္ငယ္သားေတြ”
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ သူမကိုၾကည့္ကာ မယုံနိုင္စြာျဖင့္ ေရ႐ြတ္သည္။
“ဟင္? မျဖစ္နိုင္တာ။ တိုက္တိုက္ဆိုင္ဆိုင္ ကယ္လာမိတဲ့သူေတြက ငါ့လက္ေအာက္ကလူေတြလား? သူတို႔က လင္းဖန္တို႔နဲ႕ ရင္းႏွီးေနတာ မဆန္းေတာ့ပါဘူး။ ငါက အခ်င္းခ်င္းသိၾကတယ္ပဲ ထင္ေနတာ”
သူမသည္ ဒီလူမ်ားကို နယ္ေျမထဲသို႔ ထည့္လာၿပီးေနာက္ သိပ္သတိမထားမိခဲ့ေပ။ လင္းမိသားစုက အံ့ၾသတႀကီးျဖစ္တာျမင္ေတာ့ သူမသည္ အခ်င္းခ်င္းသိသည္ဟုသာ ထင္ကာ အမ်ားႀကီးေတြးၾကည့္မေနေတာ့ဘဲ နယ္ေျမထဲတြင္ထားကာ ထြက္သြားတာ ျဖစ္သည္။
“ယန္က်င္းဟြာကို လႊတ္ေပးလိုက္တာလား?”
ယန္က်င္းဟြာအေၾကာင္း ေမးသည့္အခါ လင္းခ်င္းသည္ လက္ျဖန့္ျပကာ
“ဟုတ္တယ္။ သူငါ့ကို မေကာင္းတာ ေတာ္ေတာ္လုပ္ခဲ့တယ္ ၾကားပင္မယ့္ ဘာမွမမွတ္မိဘူး။ ငါအခုလက္စားေခ်ရင္လည္း အဓိပၸါယ္ရွိမွာ မဟုတ္ဘူး။ ျပန္မွတ္မိတဲ့အထိ အခ်ိန္ယူၿပီးမွပဲ ရွင္းေတာ့မယ္။ ၿပီးေတာ့လည္း ငါ့လက္ရွိအစြမ္းက သူ႕ကိုထိခိုက္ေအာင္ လုပ္မရေသးဘူး။ သူလည္း ငါ့ကိုထိခိုက္ေအာင္ မလုပ္နိုင္ပါဘူး”

“ဟုတ္တယ္။ ဒါပင္မယ့္ မွတ္ဉာဏ္ေတြ ျပန္ေပၚေအာင္ ဘယ္လိုလုပ္ရမလဲ ငါတို႔မွ မသိတာ။ နင္အဲ့ေနရာကို ျပန္ေရာက္လည္း ဘာမွမမွတ္မိေသးရင္ ဘယ္လိုလုပ္မလဲ? သူ႕ကိုအရွင္ဆက္ထားေနမွာလား?”
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ သူမကိုတစ္ခ်က္ၾကည့္ကာ
“အဲ့ေနရာကို သြားၿပီးလို႔ ဘာမွမမွတ္မိေသးရင္ ေနာက္တစ္နည္းရွာရမွာပဲ။ ဒါပင္မယ့္လည္း သူကမ်က္ႏွာေျပာင္ၿပီး ငါ့ေရွ႕မွာ ထပ္ေပၚလာလို႔ကေတာ့ ငါသူ႕ကို လႊတ္ေပးမွာ မဟုတ္ေတာ့ဘူး”
လ်ဴကြၽင္းသည္ ဘာကိုဆက္ေျပာရမလဲ မသိစြာၾကည့္ေနသည္။ ထို႔ေနာက္ ေခါင္းစဥ္ေျပာင္းလိုက္ကာ

လင္းခ်င္းသည္ သူမကိုၾကည့္ကာ ေခါင္းအစေျခအဆုံးတစ္ခ်က္ၾကည့္ၿပီး
“နင္ေတာ္ေတာ္မ်ားမ်ားသိေနၿပီပဲ။ နင့္နားလည္နိုင္စြမ္းကလည္း တကယ္ျမင့္လာတယ္”
လ်ဴကြၽင္းသည္ ၿပဳံးၿဖဲၿဖဲျဖင့္ ေျပာသည္။
“ငါဉာဏ္ေကာင္းတာ ခ်ီးက်ဴးခ်င္တယ္ဆိုရင္လည္း ဒီတိုင္းေျပာရပါတယ္။ ရွက္မေနပါနဲ႕”
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ ဆြံ႕အသြားရွာသည္။
“အခုအျပင္မွာ ဘယ္လိုလဲ?”
လ်ဴကြၽင္းက ေမးသည္။
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ မ်က္လုံးမွိတ္ကာ အျပင္ကိုၾကည့္သည္။ ထို႔ေနာက္ မ်က္လုံးျပန္ဖြင့္ကာ
“ဟိုတယ္တစ္ခုလုံးခဲေနၿပီ။ ဘယ္သူမွ ဝင္လို႔ထြက္လို႔ မရေတာ့ဘူး”
“ယန္က်င္းဟြာကေရာ?”
လ်ဴကြၽင္းက ေမးသည္။
ထိုအခ်ိန္တြင္ လင္းခ်င္းသည္ ႐ုတ္တရပ္ မ်က္ႏွာမည္းသြားကာ
“ငါအျပင္ကို တစ္ခ်က္သြားၾကည့္လိုက္ဦးမယ္”
ေျပာၿပီးသည္ႏွင့္ သူမသည္ နယ္ေျမေလး၏အေပါက္ဝမွ ေပ်ာက္သြားသည္။ လင္းခ်င္းသည္ အမိုးေပၚက လသာေဆာင္ေပၚတြင္ ရပ္ေနသည္။ လသာေဆာင္၏တံခါးသည္ ေရခဲေနကာ အထဲတြင္ စစ္သားအခ်ိဳ႕ရွိသည္။ သူမလွည့္ၾကည့္သည့္အခါ သူမနားတြင္ ေရခဲ႐ုပ္မ်ားေတြ႕ကာ အကုန္ုလုံးသည္ ယန္က်င္းဟြာ၏ စစ္သားမ်ားပင္။ သူမ၏မ်က္ႏွာသည္ ပိုမည္းလာကာ လူသတ္ခ်င္စိတ္တို႔ ပိုျပင္းလာသည္။

“အရွင္ထားလည္း အသုံးဝင္တာမွ မဟုတ္တာ။ ငါတို႔ျပန္တဲ့လမ္းမွာ ဇြန္ဘီအစားခံရမွာပဲ။ ငါသူတို႔ကို အပိုင္းပိုင္းကိုက္စားခြင့္ မေပးဘဲ ဒီလိုေသခြင့္ေပးတာက ပိုေကာင္းေသးတယ္”
