၂၆၂။ ဆရာဝန် လျန်တရှု
“ရပါတယ်”
ယွမ်ထန်ရှင်းက ပြောသည်။
“လုထန်ယုဆီက ရေဆိုတာကို သူတို့မှမသိတာ။ သူတို့သိသွားရင်လည်း အဲ့ဒီ. . . အဟမ်း လုထန်ယုက လူကယ်တဲ့ ဇွန်ဘီဖြစ်နေတော့ ကိစ္စတွေက ပိုစိတ်ဝင်စားဖို့ ကောင်းဦးမယ်”
ဒီလိုပြောကာ အဓိပ္ပါယ်ရှိစွာဖြင့် ပြုံးသည်။
တူယွမ်ရှင်းသည် မျက်လုံးများပြူးသွားကာ ယွမ်ထန်ရှင်းကိုကြည့်ရင်း
“ဒါကဆိုးတယ် သူ့ကိုပြဿနာတွေ သွားပေးနေသလို ဖြစ်တော့မှာမလား?”
ယွမ်ထန်ရှင်းသည် သူ့အားတစ်ချက်ကြည့်ကာ အရေးမပါသလိုဖြင့်
“မင်းရူးနေလား? သူကဘယ်လိုဇွန်ဘီလဲဆိုတာကို မသိတာကြနေတာပဲကွာ။ ငါ့အထင် အဆင့်၇စွမ်းအားရှင်တောင် သူ့ကိုဖမ်းဖို့ မလွယ်လောက်ဘူး။ သူ့ကိုမင်းလို ပိန်းတယ်များ ထင်နေလား? မဟုတ်ဘူး မင်းထက်အများကြီးကို ဉာဏ်ကပြေးလွန်းတယ်။ ပြီးတော့လည်း သူ့အစွမ်းတွေကို မင်းမေ့သွားပြီလား?”
လင်းယုသည် စပ်စုစွာဖြင့် ဝင်ပြောသည်။
“လုထန်ယုဆိုတဲ့ ဇွန်ဘီနဲ့ နယ်မြေအကြောင်း ပြောနေကြတာဆိုတော့ ဒါကကျွန်တော် ထင်နေမိတာတော့ မဟုတ်ဘူးမလား? ဒီစခန်းက နာမည်ကြီးလုထန်ယုတော့ မဟုတ်ဘူးမလား?”
တူယွမ်ရှင်းနှင့် ယွမ်ထန်ရှင်းတို့သည် သူ့အားခေါင်းငြိမ့်ပြကြသည်။
“မဖြစ်နိုင်တာ!”
လင်းယုက မယုံနိုင်စွာဖြင့် ပြောသည်။
“သူက တကယ်ဇွန်ဘီ ဖြစ်သွားတာလား? ကျွန်တော်ကြားတာတော့ သူ့ကိုဇွန်ဘီအုပ်ထဲ ကန်ချခံရပြီးတော့ အပိုင်းပိုင်းပြတ်သွားတယ်ဆို?”
“မဟုတ်ဘူး! သူကအကောင်းကြီးပဲ!”
ယွမ်ထန်ရှင်းသည် ခေါင်းကိုခါကာ ပြောသည်။
“ဇွန်ဘီဖြစ်သွားတာကတော့ အမှန်ပဲ”
တူယွမ်ရှင်းက ဆက်ပြောသည်။
“ပြီးတော့လည်း ဒီစခန်းက လူတိုင်းမုန်းနေတဲ့ လုထန်ယုနဲ့ကို မတူတော့ဘူး။ ကုသိုလ်ကောင်းမှုလုပ်ရတာ ကြိုက်တဲ့ဇွန်ဘီ ဖြစ်သွားတာ!”
“ဘယ်လို?”
လင်းယုသည် နားမလည်ဖြစ်သွားသည်။ ပြောနေသည့်စကားများက ဟာသကြီးများလို ဖြစ်သွားသည်။
‘ဇွန်ဘီဖြစ်သွားတာက ထားဦး။ ဒါပင်မယ့် ကောင်းမှုလုပ်တာက ဘာလဲ? သေတုန်းက ဇွန်ဘီကိုက်စားခံထားရတာမလို့ အခုဆိုရင် ဘယ်သူကမှ သူ့ကိုမှတ်မိတော့မှာ မဟုတ်ဘူးမလား? ပြီးတော့လည်း ရေကသူနဲ့ ဘာဆိုင်လို့လဲ?’
တူယွမ်ရှင်းနှင့် ယွမ်ထန်ရှင်းတို့၏ စကားများသည် လုထန်ယုနှင့်ရေအကြောင်းဖြစ်သည်။ သို့သော်လည်း သူနားမလည်သည်ကို ခနထားကာ အရင်သိချင်တာကို မေးလိုက်သည်။
“တကယ်ကြီး ရေက စွမ်းအားနိုးတာကို ကူနိုင်မှာလား? တကယ်လို့ မင်းသမီးလေးအပေါ် အကျိုးမရှိရင် ဝူချန်းယွဲ့က ကျွန်တော်တို့ကို ရန်ငြိုးထားမှာလား?”
“သူ့မှာ ဘာရွေးချယ်စရာများ ရှိသေးလို့လဲ?”
ယွမ်ထန်ရှင်းက ပြောသည်။
“ငါက စိတ်ကောင်းထား ကူညီပေးရုံတင်။ ရေက မထိရောက်ဘူးဆိုရင်လည်း မင်းသမီးလေးကိုတော့ မထိခိုက်ပါဘူး။ ပြီးတော့လည်း ငါအာမမခံဘူးလို့ ကြိုပြောထားသားပဲ”
“စခန်းမှာ သူ့လုပ်ရပ်တွေကိုကြည့်ရင် ခေါင်းဆောင်ဝူက အမြင်ကျဉ်းပြီးတော့ အကျိုးအကြောင်းမစီလျော်တဲ့သူမျိုး မဟုတ်ပါဘူး”
တူယွမ်ရှင်းက ပြောသည်။
“ငါတို့ကို အပြစ်မတင်လောက်ပါဘူး”
ယွမ်ထန်ရှင်းက ခေါင်းငြိမ့်သည်။
တစ်ဖက်တွင် ဝူချန်းယွဲ့သည် လင်းလင်းကို သူတို့နေသည့်နေရာသို့ ခေါ်သွားကာ သူမ၏အိပ်ခန်းထဲမှ ကုတင်ပေါ်တွင် တင်လိုက်သည်။ ထို့နောက် ရှောင်ယွင့်လုံအား နောက်ဆရာဝန်တစ်ယောက်ကို သွားရှာခိုင်းသည်။ ထိုဆရာဝန်သည် စခန်းတွင် ငကြောင်အဖြစ် သတ်မှတ်ခံထားရသူ ဖြစ်သည်။ သူသည် သူများစကားကို နားထောင်သည်ဆိုသည်က ရှားပါးလွန်းကာ သူ့လူနာကို သူကုသချင်သလိုသာ ကုသတက်သည်။ သူမကုချင်ဘူးဆိုလျှင်လည်း ဘယ်သူကမှ အတင်းခိုင်း၍ မရပေ။ သို့သော်လည်း ဝူချန်းယွဲ့က အကူအညီတောင်းလျှင်တော့ အမြဲလက်ခံကာ ကူညီပေးလေ့ရှိသည်။
ဆရာဝန်၏အမည်သည် လျန်တရှုဖြစ်သည်။ အရင်က ဆရာဝန်မဟုတ်ဘဲ စာအုပ်ဆိုင်ပိုင်ရှင် တစ်ယောက်သာ ဖြစ်သည်။ စာဖတ်ခြင်းကို အရမ်းနှစ်သက်မြတ်နိုးကာ သူသည် စိတ်ကူးယဉ်ဝတ္တု၊ ကာတွန်းနှင့် အွန်လိုင်းဝတ္တုများကအစ အကုန်လုံးကို ဖတ်သည့်သူဖြစ်သည်။ သူသည် ပညာရပ်ဆိုင်များ စာအုပ်များကိုလည်း လုံးဝနားမလည်တာတောင်မှ ကြိုးစားဖတ်ရှုခဲ့သည်။ စိတ်ဝင်စားစရာ တစ်ခုခုကိုဖတ်မိပါက အဆုံးအထိကို လိုက်လေ့လာဖတ်တက်သည့်သူ ဖြစ်သည်။
ဆေးပညာကို သင်ကြားခဲ့ဖူးခြင်း မရှိသော်လည်း လူတွေက သူ့အားဆရာဝန်ဟု ခေါ်ခြင်းမှာ သူ့အစွမ်းကြောင့် ဖြစ်သည်။ သူ့တွင် ကုသရေးစွမ်းအားရှိသဖြင့် ဒဏ်ရာအသေးအမွှားနှင့် ရောဂါများကို လွယ်ကူစွာ ကုသနိုင်သည်။ သူ့စွမ်းအားသည် အရမ်းမမြင့်သေးသောကြောင့် ရောဂါကြီးများနှင့် ကုသမရသည့်ဖျားနာခြင်းများအတွက်တော့ နှေးသွားအောင် လုပ်ပေးနိုင်သည်။

“လျန်ဦးလေး ခေါင်းဆောင်ဝူက ဒီကိုလူလွှတ်လိုက်တယ်။ သူ့နေရာကိုလာခဲ့ပါလို့ ခေါ်နေတယ်”

လျန်တရှုသည် ဒေတာများမှ မျက်လုံးတစ်ချက်မှ မခွာဘဲ ပြန်မေးသည်။
“ခေါင်းဆောင်ပြန်လာပြီလား? ငါ့ကိုတွေ့ချင်တယ်ဆိုတော့ နေမကောင်းဘူး ဖြစ်ရမယ်။ ငါသိပြီ။ ငါ့ဆေးတွေပြင်ထားပြီ။ ဒီမှာမိနစ်နည်းနည်းလောက် အပြီးသတ်ပြီးရင် ငါသွားမယ်”
အမျိုးသမီးသည် ခေါင်းငြိမ့်ပြကာ လှည့်ထွက်သွားသည်။
ဝူချန်းယွဲ့၏ အဆောက်အဦးထဲတွင် ရှောင်ယွင့်လုံသည် ကလေးမလေး၏ နဖူးကို စမ်းနေသည်။ ကလေးမလေးသည် ပင်ပန်းနေပုံရသော်လည်း အံ့အားသင့်ဖွယ်ကောင်းစွာ မေ့မျောသွားခြင်း လုံးဝမရှိပေ။
ရှောင်ယွင့်လုံသည် ကလေးမလေး၏ နဖူးကိုစမ်းပြီးနောက် သူ့နဖူးကို သူပြန်စမ်းကာ ဝူချန်းယွဲ့အား သံဿယဖြင့်
“လင်းလင်းအဖျားက ရပ်သွားပြီလား? ကိုယ်က ထပ်ပြီးတော့မပူတော့ဘူး။ လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့သုံးမိနစ်ကလိုပဲ ပုံမှန်ပြန်ဖြစ်သွားပြီ!”
ဝူချန်းယွဲ့သည် အဖျားတိုင်းသည့် သာမိုမီတာကို ကြည့်နေသည်။ စိတ်ပူစွာဖြင့်
“အင်း ခုနက ငါးဆယ့်ရှစ်ဒီဂရီရှိတာ။ အခုတော့ ငါးဆယ့်ခုနစ်ဖြစ်သွားပြီ။ အဖျားနည်းနည်း ကျသွားတယ် ထင်တယ်”
အဖျားသည် နည်းနည်းကျသွားသော်လည်း နံပတ်ကတော့ ကြောက်ဖို့ကောင်းနေဆဲပင်။
“ဘာ? ငါးဆယ့်ရှစ်ဒီဂရီ!!!”
ရှောင်ယွင့်လုံသည် အံ့သြလွန်း၍ မျက်လုံးကျွတ်ထွက်မတက်ပင်။ ဝူယွဲ့လင်းကို အမြန်လှည့်မေးသည်။
“လင်းလင်း ခေါင်းကိုင်အဖေကို သိသေးလား? သိရင် မျက်လုံးတစ်ချက်မှိတ်ပြ”
သို့သော်လည်း ဝူယွဲ့လင်းသည် သူ့ကိုကြည့်နေကာ ဘာမှပြန်မတုံ့ပြန်ပြပေ။ ဝူချန်းယွဲ့သည် သာမိုမီတာကို ချကာ ဘေးသို့လျှောက်လာ၍ ကုတင်ဘေးတွင် ထိုင်လိုက်ကာ ငုံ့့၍
“လင်းလင်း ဖေဖေကို မြင်လား?”
လင်းလင်းသည် ရှောင်ယွင့်လုံအား ကြည့်နေရာမှ ဝူချန်းယွဲ့ကို ဖြည်းဖြည်းချင်း လှည့်ကြည့်သည်။ နားမလည်နိုင်ခြင်းက ဖြတ်ခနဲ သူမ၏မျက်လုံးထဲတွင် ပေါ်လာသော်လည်း ဖြည်းဖြည်းချင်း ခေါင်းငြိမ့်ပြသည်။
“အားရောကျန်သေးလား? နေရတာ မသက်သာဘူးလား?”
ဝူချန်းယွဲ့က မေးသည်။
လင်းလင်းသည် သူ့အားခေါင်းသာခါပြနေသည်။ သူမ၏လှုပ်ရှားမှုများက အရမ်းနှေးလေရာ အတော်အားပျက်နေပုံရသည်။
“စိတ်ကရှိနေသေးတော့ ငါ့အထင် အားပဲနည်းသွားတာ ဖြစ်မယ်”
ဝူချန်းယွဲ့က ရှောင်ယွင့်လုံကို ပြောသည်။
“ငါတို့ပြန်ရောက်နေတာ ၁နာရီလောက်ရှိပြီ။ အခုတော့ အပူချိန်က ထပ်မတိုးတော့ဘူး။ ဒါပင်မယ့်လည်း ကိုမာလည်းမဖြစ်သွားဘူး။ ဒါကောင်းတာလား ဆိုးတာလား? အပူချိန်က များနေသေးတာတော့ ကလေးအတွက် မကောင်းဘူး”
“ငါအရက်ပျံနဲ့ ရေပတ်ဝတ်တိုက်တော့ ပေးနေတာပဲ”
ဝူချန်းယွဲ့က ပြောသည်။
“အပူချိန်ကတော့ ထပ်မတိုးတော့ဘူး ထင်ပါတယ်။ ဒေါက်တာလျန်က သူ့ကိုစစ်ပေးမှာကိုပဲ စောင့်ရအောင်”
“ဒေါက်တာလျန်က စာအုပ်တွေ အများကြီးဖတ်ထားပြီးတော့ အခုလည်း ပိုးသုသေသနလုပ်နေတာ ဆိုတော့ လင်းလင်းကို ကူညီဖို့ သူသိနိုင်မလားမသိဘူး”
ရှောင်ယွင့်လုံက ပြောသည်။
“ငါလည်းမသိဘူး။ တစ်ခုခုအဖြေထုတ်နိုင်ဖို့ မျှော်လင့်ရမှာပဲ”
ဝူချန်းယွဲ့က မျှော်လင့်ချက်အပြည့်ဖြင့် ပြောသည်။

ယြမ္ထန္ရွင္းသည္ သူ႕အားတစ္ခ်က္ၾကည့္ကာ အေရးမပါသလိုျဖင့္
“မင္း႐ူးေနလား? သူကဘယ္လိုဇြန္ဘီလဲဆိုတာကို မသိတာၾကေနတာပဲကြာ။ ငါ့အထင္ အဆင့္၇စြမ္းအားရွင္ေတာင္ သူ႕ကိုဖမ္းဖို႔ မလြယ္ေလာက္ဘူး။ သူ႕ကိုမင္းလို ပိန္းတယ္မ်ား ထင္ေနလား? မဟုတ္ဘူး မင္းထက္အမ်ားႀကီးကို ဉာဏ္ကေျပးလြန္းတယ္။ ၿပီးေတာ့လည္း သူ႕အစြမ္းေတြကို မင္းေမ့သြားၿပီလား?”
လင္းယုသည္ စပ္စုစြာျဖင့္ ဝင္ေျပာသည္။
“လုထန္ယုဆိုတဲ့ ဇြန္ဘီနဲ႕ နယ္ေျမအေၾကာင္း ေျပာေနၾကတာဆိုေတာ့ ဒါကကြၽန္ေတာ္ ထင္ေနမိတာေတာ့ မဟုတ္ဘူးမလား? ဒီစခန္းက နာမည္ႀကီးလုထန္ယုေတာ့ မဟုတ္ဘူးမလား?”
တူယြမ္ရွင္းႏွင့္ ယြမ္ထန္ရွင္းတို႔သည္ သူ႕အားေခါင္းၿငိမ့္ျပၾကသည္။
“မျဖစ္နိုင္တာ!”
လင္းယုက မယုံနိုင္စြာျဖင့္ ေျပာသည္။
“သူက တကယ္ဇြန္ဘီ ျဖစ္သြားတာလား? ကြၽန္ေတာ္ၾကားတာေတာ့ သူ႕ကိုဇြန္ဘီအုပ္ထဲ ကန္ခ်ခံရၿပီးေတာ့ အပိုင္းပိုင္းျပတ္သြားတယ္ဆို?”
“မဟုတ္ဘူး! သူကအေကာင္းႀကီးပဲ!”
ယြမ္ထန္ရွင္းသည္ ေခါင္းကိုခါကာ ေျပာသည္။
“ဇြန္ဘီျဖစ္သြားတာကေတာ့ အမွန္ပဲ”
တူယြမ္ရွင္းက ဆက္ေျပာသည္။
“ၿပီးေတာ့လည္း ဒီစခန္းက လူတိုင္းမုန္းေနတဲ့ လုထန္ယုနဲ႕ကို မတူေတာ့ဘူး။ ကုသိုလ္ေကာင္းမႈလုပ္ရတာ ႀကိဳက္တဲ့ဇြန္ဘီ ျဖစ္သြားတာ!”
“ဘယ္လို?”
လင္းယုသည္ နားမလည္ျဖစ္သြားသည္။ ေျပာေနသည့္စကားမ်ားက ဟာသႀကီးမ်ားလို ျဖစ္သြားသည္။
‘ဇြန္ဘီျဖစ္သြားတာက ထားဦး။ ဒါပင္မယ့္ ေကာင္းမႈလုပ္တာက ဘာလဲ? ေသတုန္းက ဇြန္ဘီကိုက္စားခံထားရတာမလို႔ အခုဆိုရင္ ဘယ္သူကမွ သူ႕ကိုမွတ္မိေတာ့မွာ မဟုတ္ဘူးမလား? ၿပီးေတာ့လည္း ေရကသူနဲ႕ ဘာဆိုင္လို႔လဲ?’

ယြမ္ထန္ရွင္းက ေျပာသည္။
