၂၅၉။ လင်းလင်းဖျားနေတယ်
လင်းဖန်သည် သူမကိုကြည့်ကာ မေးသည်။
“နောက်ပြီးတော့?”
“သူနဲ့တိုက်ဖို့ ကြိုးစားပင်မယ့် နိုင်ဖို့မဖြစ်နိုင်လို့ ပြန်လာခဲ့တာ။ ကြည့်လိုက်ဦးမယ်”
ဒီလိုပြောရင်းဖြင့် လင်းချင်းသည် အပြင်အခြေအနေကို မျက်လုံးမှိတ်ကာ ကြည့်လိုက်သည်။
ယန်ကျင်းဟွာတို့က ဟိုတယ်ကို ရောက်နေနှင့်ပြီ။ လင်းဖန်တို့အကုန် ပျောက်သွားသည်ကို တွေ့ရသဖြင့် သူအတော်ကြီးကို စိတ်တိုနေပုံရသည်။ ဟိုတယ်ပထမထပ်မှ ခြောက်လွှာအထိမှာ သူ့ကြောင့် ရေခဲခန်းလို ဖြစ်နေပြီ။
လင်းချင်းသည် မျက်လုံးကိုဖွင့်ကာ ပြောသည်။
“အပြင်မှာ အရမ်းအေးတယ်”
လူစုသည် သူမပြောသည်ကို နားမလည်နိုင်ပေ။ ညလည်ခေါင်ဖြစ်ရာ အနည်းငယ်အေးသည်က မဆန်းပေ။ ကမ္ဘာပျက်ခေတ်တွင် ညသည်အမြဲအေးနေသဖြင့် သူတို့သည် ဒါဖြင့်ကျင့်သားရနေသည်မှာ အတော်ကြာပြီ။
လင်းချင်းသည် သူတို့အတွေးများကို အာရုံဖြင့်သိသောကြောင့် ပုခုံးကိုတွန့်ကာ
“ယန်ကျင်းဟွာက ဟိုတယ်ကို ခဲအောင်လုပ်နေတာကို ပြောချင်တာ။ ဆိုလာစက်တွေ တွေ့သွားလို့ ဖြုတ်ယူဖို့ လုပ်နေတာလို့ ငါထင်တယ်”
ထိုအခါ လင်းဖန်သည် သူ့ပေါင်ကိုရိုက်ချကာ ပြောသည်။
“အာ ဟုတ်သားပဲကွာ ဒီခွေးကောင်ကတော့ ဆိုလာစက်တွေကို ယူတော့မှာပဲ”
အမျိုးသမီးလင်းသည် လင်းချင်းကို ကြည့်ကာ
“ဘာလဲ? ငါတို့ဆိုလာစက်တွေကို သူ့ဆီအပါမခံနိုင်ဘူး လုမိန်းကလေး ဆိုလာစက်တွေကို ဒီကိုယူပေးနိုင်မလား?”
လင်းချင်းသည် ခေါင်းခါကာ
“ပထမထပ်မှာ ဆင်ထားပြီးတော့ မဖြုတ်ရသေးဘူး။ အမိုးနဲ့လည်း ဆက်ထားတော့ အဆောက်အဦးတစ်ခုလုံးကို သွင်းတာမဟုတ်ရင် အထဲကိုထည့်မရဘူး”
“ဘာဖြစ်လို့ သူတို့ဖြုတ်တာကို မစောင့်တာလဲ? ပြီးမှပြန်ခိုးရတာပဲ”
လင်းဟောင်က ပြောသည်။ ထိုအခါ သူတို့သည် ခနပဟေဌိဖြစ်သွားပြီးနောက် လင်းချင်းကို တအံ့တသြ လှည့်ကြည့်ကြသည်။
လင်းချင်းသည် လင်းဟောင်ကို လက်မထောင်ပြကာ
“တော်တယ် ငါတောင်ဒါကို မတွေးမိလိုက်ဘူး”
ဘေးကိုပတ်ကြည့်နေတာ ကြာပြီဖြစ်သည့် ချန်းဝမ်ရှုသည် မနေနိုင်တော့သည့်နောက်ဆုံး မေးတော့သည်။
“ကျွင်းကျွင်းနဲ့ တုံတုံကို မမြင်မိပါလား? သူတို့ဘယ်မှာလဲ?”
လင်းချင်းသည် သူမကိုကြည့်ကာ အနောက်က နယ်မြေလေးကို လက်ညိုးထိုးပြသည်။ ဆိုဖာတွင် ထိုင်နေရသည်မှာ ပျင်းနေရှာသည့် လင်းရှောင်လုသည် မိခင်ဖြစ်သူထံမှ တုံတုံနာမည်ကို ကြားသည်နှင့် မော့ကြည့်ကာ မေးသည်။
“မေမေ တုံတုံနဲ့ သွားဆော့လို့ရလား?”
သူမသည် တကယ့်ကိုပျင်းရိနေတာ ဖြစ်သည်။ လူကြီးတွေကြားက စကားဝိုင်းသည် သူမကို အိပ်ငိုက်စေသော်လည်း အမေဖြစ်သူက သူမကို အိပ်ခွင့်မပေးပေ။ ချန်းဝမ်ရှုသည် ရှောင်လုကို လင်းချင်းကိုတစ်ချက်ကြည့်သည်။
လင်းချင်းက ခေါင်းငြိမ့်ပြကာ
“ရပါတယ် ဆော့ရတာ မောသွားရင်တောင်မှ အဲ့ဒီမှာ အိပ်လို့ရတယ်။ ကုတင်ရှိတယ်”
လင်းချင်း၏ နယ်မြေသည် ကြီးလာသည့်အခါ နယ်မြေလေးသည် အစွန်ဆုံးအထိ ရွေ့သွားသည်။ ကုတင်တို့က လိုက်ရွေ့မသွားဘဲ အပြင်တွင် ကျန်ခဲ့သော်လည်း ကျွင်းကျွင်းတို့က နယ်မြေလေးထဲသို့ ပြန်ထည့်လိုက်သည်။ ထို့ကြောင့် လင်းချင်းသည် လျူကျွင်းတို့ သားအမိကို နယ်မြေထဲသို့ ပို့တိုင်း နယ်မြေလေးထဲသို့သာ တန်းထည့်ပေးလေ့ရှိသည်။
ချန်းဝမ်ရှုသည် ခေါင်းငြိမ့်ကာ လင်းရှောင်လုလက်ကိုဆွဲ၍ နယ်မြေလေးထဲသို့ လျှောက်သွားသည်။ လင်းချင်းက အခြားသူများကို ပြောပြီး ပျောက်သွားသည်။
“ငါအပြင်ကို အရင်သွားကြည့်လိုက်ဦးမယ်”
“သူကတကယ်ဇွန်ဘီလား? ဘယ်အဆင့်လဲ? အတော်ဉာဏ်ကောင်းတာပဲ ပြီးတော့ စကားလည်း ပြောနိုင်တယ် ဇွန်ဘီဘုရင်မလား?”
လီကျန်းက လင်းဖန်ကို မေးသည်။
လင်းဖန်သည် ခေါင်းကိုခါပြကာ
“ငါတို့လည်း မသိဘူး။ သူ့မိတ်ဆွေတစ်ယောက်ကတော့ ဇွန်ဘီဘုရင်မပဲ”
ဖန်ယုမင်းတို့သည် မျက်လုံးကျွတ်ကျမတက် ပြူးကျယ်သွားကာ ပတ်ဝန်းကျင်ကို ပတ်ကြည့်ရင်း
“ဇွန်ဘီဘုရင်မက ဒီမှာလား? ဘယ်မှာလဲ?”
သူတို့သည် ဇွန်ဘီဘုရင်မများမှာ ဒဏ္ဍာရီလာသတ္တဝါများဟု ပြောလို့ရအောင်ရှားသဖြင့် မမြင်ဖူးကြပေ။ တစ်ခါမှ မကြားဖူးကြသဖြင့် ဘယ်လိုပုံရှိမလဲကို တကယ်သိချင်နေကြတာ ဖြစ်သည်။
လင်းဖန်သည် အပြုံးဖျော့ဖျော့ဖြင့် ပြောသည်။
“လျှောက်ရှာမနေနဲ့။ ဒီမှာမရှိဘူး။ လွန်ခဲ့တဲ့နှစ်ရက်လောက်က ထွက်သွားတယ်။ မဟုတ်ရင် ယန်ကျင်းဟွာက ငါတို့ဆီကို ရဲရဲတင်းတင်း ဘယ်လာရဲမလဲ။ ဒီမှာသာရှိလို့ကတော့ ငါတို့နားတောင် ကပ်ရဲမယ့်သတ္တိရှိတာ မဟုတ်ဘူး”
ဇွန်ဘီဘုရင်မ မရှိကြောင်းသိသည့်အခါ လီကျန်းတို့သည် စိတ်ပျက်သွားကြသည်။ ဖန်ယုမင်းက မေးသည်။
“အဆင့်၆ဇွန်ဘီက ဘယ်လိုမျိုးလဲ? ခေါင်းသုံးလုံးနဲ့ လက်ခြောက်ဖက်လား? အရမ်းစွမ်းအားကြီးတာလား?”
အမျိုးသမီးလင်းက ပြုံးကာဖြေသည်။
“ခေါင်းသုံးလုံးနဲ့ လက်ခြောက်ဖက် မရှိပါဘူး။ စွမ်းအားကြီးတာကတော့ ယန်ကျင်းဟွာတောင် သူ့ကိုမနိုင်ဘူး။ ဒါပင်မယ့် အဆင့်၇စွမ်းအားရှင်ကို နိုင်မနိုင်တော့ ငါတို့လည်း မပြောတက်ဘူး”
လင်းဝမ်ဝမ်သည် သန္ဓေပြောင်းစတော်ဘယ်ရီသီးများကို သွားခူးကာ ရေဆေးဖို့လုပ်သည်။ သူတို့နားက ဖြတ်သွားရင်းက
“သူများတွေနဲ့ အချိန်ဖြုန်းရတာ မကြိုက်တဲ့ ကလေးမငယ်ငယ်ချောချောလေးပါပဲ”
ဒီလိုပြောပြီးနောက် ကန်ဘေးသို့ သွားသည်။
ထိုအချိန်တွင် လင်းချင်းသည် ကိုယ်ဖျောက်လျှက်သားဖြင့် ဟိုတယ်အမိုးပေါ်သို့ တက်သွားနှင့်ပြီ။ သူမသည် ယန်ကျင်းဟွာတို့က ဆိုလာဖြုတ်နေသည်ကို ဘေးကနေ ရပ်စောင့်ကြည့်နေသည်။
“သူတို့က ဆိုလာကို တကယ်ကြီး ရှာတွေ့တာပဲ တကယ့်အံ့ဖွယ်ပဲ”
ယန်ကျင်းဟွာက အံ့သြစွာပြောသော်လည်း သူ့မျက်နှာသည် ဆူပုတ်နေသေးသည်။
တစ်ဖက်တွင်တော့ ပင်လယ်မြို့တော်စခန်းသို့ ဝူချန်းယွဲ့သည့် သူ့သမီးနှင့်အတူ ဒဏ်ရာရနေသည့် မုန့်ယွဲ့ဖြင့် ပြန်ရောက်သွားသည်။ စခန်းရောက်သည်နှင့် ကလေးမလေးသည် ဖျားလေရာ ဝူချန်းယွဲ့သည် သူ့သမီးနှင့် မုန့်ယွဲ့ကို ဆရာဝန်ဖြင့် အမြန်ပြရတော့သည်။

ဝူယွဲ့လင်းသည် ပင်လယ်မြို့တော်စခန်း၏ မင်းသမီးလေးဖြစ်ရာ ဆရာဝန်သည် စိုးရိမ်တကြီး အမြန်ပြေးလာကာ သူမအား အကုန်စစ်ဆေးပေးသည်။ ထို့နောက် ပြဿနာက တက်လေသည်။
ပြဿနာမှာ ဘယ်ဆရာဝန်ကမှ မင်းသမီးလေးက ဘယ်လိုအဖျားရှိနေသလဲကို မပြောတက်ခြင်းပင်။ ထိုအချိန်တွင် ဝူယွဲ့လင်းသည် ဖျားနေသော်လည်း သူမ၏စိတ်သည် ပို၍ရှင်းလင်းလို့လာနေသည်။
သူမ၏အနားတွင် အလုပ်များနေသည့် ဆရာဝန်များကို နားမလည်စွာကြည့်သည်။ ဆရာဝန်များက သူမကိုထဖို့လုပ်တိုင်း အမြန်ရှောင်က ဝူချန်းယွဲ့အား မျက်ရည်ရွှဲနေသည့် မျက်လုံးများဖြင့် သူမကို ခေါ်သွားပေးဖို့ ကြည့်တက်သည်။
‘သမီးဒီမှာ မနေချင်ဘူး ဖေဖေ’
ဝူယွဲ့လင်းသည် ငိုတော့မတက် ဖြစ်နေလေရာ ဝူချန်းယွဲ့သည် သူမအနားသို့သွား၍ ဖက်လိုက်ပြီးနောက်
“သမီးက လိမ္မာပါတယ်။ ဆရာဝန်တွေကို စစ်ခိုင်းလိုက်နော်။ မဟုတ်ရင် သမီးနေလို့ထိုင်လို့ ဘယ်လိုမှ ကောင်းမှာမဟုတ်ဘူး”
ဝူယွဲ့သည် ခေါင်းကိုတစ်ချိန်လုံး ခါပြသည်။
‘မဟုတ်ဘူး မဟုတ်ဘူး နေမကောင်းတာ မဟုတ်ဘူး ဘာဖြစ်လို့ ဆရာဝန်နဲ့ တွေ့ရမှာလဲ?’
ဝူချန်းယွဲ့သည် သူမ၏နဖူးကို ထိကြည့်သည့်အခါ ကျွမ်းမတက်ပူနေဆဲဖြစ်သည်။ စိတ်ပူစွာဖြင့် မေးသည်။
“လင်းလင်း သမီးအဆင်မပြေ မဖြစ်ဘူးလား?”
ဝူယွဲ့လင်းသည် ခေါင်းကိုထပ်ခါပြသည်။
“ဆရာ သူဘယ်လိုနေလဲ? ဘာဖြစ်လို့ ကိုယ်က ဒီလောက်ပူနေတာလဲ?”
ဝူချန်းယွဲ့သည် ဘေးက ဆရာဝန်ကို မေးသည်။
ဆရာဝန်က ဝူယွဲ့လင်းကို ကြည့်ကာ နားလည်ရခက်စွာဖြင့် ဖြေသည်။
“ကလေးက ကျန်းမာပါတယ်။ အဖျားဖြစ်ရတာကတော့ ဖြစ်နိုင်ချေ တစ်ခုရှိပင်မယ့် မသေချာဘူး”
“ဘာဖြစ်လို့လဲ? ဘာဖြစ်လို့ မသေချာတာလဲ?”
ဝူချန်းယွဲ့က စိုးရိမ်တကြီးမေးသည်။
ဆရာဝန်သည် ကလေးမလေးကိုကြည့်ကာ ဝူချန်းယွဲ့အား
“ကြည့်ရတာ အစွမ်းက နိုးလာတော့မယ့်ပုံပဲ။ ဒါပင်မယ့် အရမ်းငယ်သေးတော့ အစွမ်းတွေကို နှိုးဖို့က သိပ်မဖြစ်နိုင်ဘူး”
ဝူချန်းယွဲ့တို့သည် ဆရာဝန်အား အံ့သြစွာကြည့်ကြသည်။ ရှောင်ယွင့်လုံသည် မနေနိုင်တော့ဘဲ မေးသည်။
“ခနလေး ဘယ်လိုလုပ်ပြီး ကလေးက အစွမ်းနိုးမှာလဲ? သူ့ကိုယ်ထဲမှာ စွမ်းအားအရင်းအမြစ်က မရှိဘူးမလား?”

လင္းဖန္သည္ သူမကိုၾကည့္ကာ ေမးသည္။
“ေနာက္ၿပီးေတာ့?”
“သူနဲ႕တိုက္ဖို႔ ႀကိဳးစားပင္မယ့္ နိုင္ဖို႔မျဖစ္နိုင္လို႔ ျပန္လာခဲ့တာ။ ၾကည့္လိုက္ဦးမယ္”
ဒီလိုေျပာရင္းျဖင့္ လင္းခ်င္းသည္ အျပင္အေျခအေနကို မ်က္လုံးမွိတ္ကာ ၾကည့္လိုက္သည္။
ယန္က်င္းဟြာတို႔က ဟိုတယ္ကို ေရာက္ေနႏွင့္ၿပီ။ လင္းဖန္တို႔အကုန္ ေပ်ာက္သြားသည္ကို ေတြ႕ရသျဖင့္ သူအေတာ္ႀကီးကို စိတ္တိုေနပုံရသည္။ ဟိုတယ္ပထမထပ္မွ ေျခာက္လႊာအထိမွာ သူ႕ေၾကာင့္ ေရခဲခန္းလို ျဖစ္ေနၿပီ။
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ မ်က္လုံးကိုဖြင့္ကာ ေျပာသည္။
“အျပင္မွာ အရမ္းေအးတယ္”
လူစုသည္ သူမေျပာသည္ကို နားမလည္နိုင္ေပ။ ညလည္ေခါင္ျဖစ္ရာ အနည္းငယ္ေအးသည္က မဆန္းေပ။ ကမာၻပ်က္ေခတ္တြင္ ညသည္အၿမဲေအးေနသျဖင့္ သူတို႔သည္ ဒါျဖင့္က်င့္သားရေနသည္မွာ အေတာ္ၾကာၿပီ။
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ သူတို႔အေတြးမ်ားကို အာ႐ုံျဖင့္သိေသာေၾကာင့္ ပုခုံးကိုတြန့္ကာ
“ယန္က်င္းဟြာက ဟိုတယ္ကို ခဲေအာင္လုပ္ေနတာကို ေျပာခ်င္တာ။ ဆိုလာစက္ေတြ ေတြ႕သြားလို႔ ျဖဳတ္ယူဖို႔ လုပ္ေနတာလို႔ ငါထင္တယ္”
ထိုအခါ လင္းဖန္သည္ သူ႕ေပါင္ကိုရိုက္ခ်ကာ ေျပာသည္။
“အာ ဟုတ္သားပဲကြာ ဒီေခြးေကာင္ကေတာ့ ဆိုလာစက္ေတြကို ယူေတာ့မွာပဲ”
အမ်ိဳးသမီးလင္းသည္ လင္းခ်င္းကို ၾကည့္ကာ
“ဘာလဲ? ငါတို႔ဆိုလာစက္ေတြကို သူ႕ဆီအပါမခံနိုင္ဘူး လုမိန္းကေလး ဆိုလာစက္ေတြကို ဒီကိုယူေပးနိုင္မလား?”
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ ေခါင္းခါကာ
“ပထမထပ္မွာ ဆင္ထားၿပီးေတာ့ မျဖဳတ္ရေသးဘူး။ အမိုးနဲ႕လည္း ဆက္ထားေတာ့ အေဆာက္အဦးတစ္ခုလုံးကို သြင္းတာမဟုတ္ရင္ အထဲကိုထည့္မရဘူး”
“ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ သူတို႔ျဖဳတ္တာကို မေစာင့္တာလဲ? ၿပီးမွျပန္ခိုးရတာပဲ”
လင္းေဟာင္က ေျပာသည္။ ထိုအခါ သူတို႔သည္ ခနပေဟဌိျဖစ္သြားၿပီးေနာက္ လင္းခ်င္းကို တအံ့တၾသ လွည့္ၾကည့္ၾကသည္။
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ လင္းေဟာင္ကို လက္မေထာင္ျပကာ
“ေတာ္တယ္ ငါေတာင္ဒါကို မေတြးမိလိုက္ဘူး”
ေဘးကိုပတ္ၾကည့္ေနတာ ၾကာၿပီျဖစ္သည့္ ခ်န္းဝမ္ရႈသည္ မေနနိုင္ေတာ့သည့္ေနာက္ဆုံး ေမးေတာ့သည္။
“ကြၽင္းကြၽင္းနဲ႕ တုံတုံကို မျမင္မိပါလား? သူတို႔ဘယ္မွာလဲ?”
လင္းခ်င္းသည္ သူမကိုၾကည့္ကာ အေနာက္က နယ္ေျမေလးကို လက္ညိုးထိုးျပသည္။ ဆိုဖာတြင္ ထိုင္ေနရသည္မွာ ပ်င္းေနရွာသည့္ လင္းေရွာင္လုသည္ မိခင္ျဖစ္သူထံမွ တုံတုံနာမည္ကို ၾကားသည္ႏွင့္ ေမာ့ၾကည့္ကာ ေမးသည္။
“ေမေမ တုံတုံနဲ႕ သြားေဆာ့လို႔ရလား?”
သူမသည္ တကယ့္ကိုပ်င္းရိေနတာ ျဖစ္သည္။ လူႀကီးေတြၾကားက စကားဝိုင္းသည္ သူမကို အိပ္ငိုက္ေစေသာ္လည္း အေမျဖစ္သူက သူမကို အိပ္ခြင့္မေပးေပ။ ခ်န္းဝမ္ရႈသည္ ေရွာင္လုကို လင္းခ်င္းကိုတစ္ခ်က္ၾကည့္သည္။
လင္းခ်င္းက ေခါင္းၿငိမ့္ျပကာ
“ရပါတယ္ ေဆာ့ရတာ ေမာသြားရင္ေတာင္မွ အဲ့ဒီမွာ အိပ္လို႔ရတယ္။ ကုတင္ရွိတယ္”
လင္းခ်င္း၏ နယ္ေျမသည္ ႀကီးလာသည့္အခါ နယ္ေျမေလးသည္ အစြန္ဆုံးအထိ ေ႐ြ႕သြားသည္။ ကုတင္တို႔က လိုက္ေ႐ြ႕မသြားဘဲ အျပင္တြင္ က်န္ခဲ့ေသာ္လည္း ကြၽင္းကြၽင္းတို႔က နယ္ေျမေလးထဲသို႔ ျပန္ထည့္လိုက္သည္။ ထို႔ေၾကာင့္ လင္းခ်င္းသည္ လ်ဴကြၽင္းတို႔ သားအမိကို နယ္ေျမထဲသို႔ ပို႔တိုင္း နယ္ေျမေလးထဲသို႔သာ တန္းထည့္ေပးေလ့ရွိသည္။

ခ်န္းဝမ္ရႈသည္ ေခါင္းၿငိမ့္ကာ လင္းေရွာင္လုလက္ကိုဆြဲ၍ နယ္ေျမေလးထဲသို႔ ေလွ်ာက္သြားသည္။ လင္းခ်င္းက အျခားသူမ်ားကို ေျပာၿပီး ေပ်ာက္သြားသည္။
“ငါအျပင္ကို အရင္သြားၾကည့္လိုက္ဦးမယ္”
“သူကတကယ္ဇြန္ဘီလား? ဘယ္အဆင့္လဲ? အေတာ္ဉာဏ္ေကာင္းတာပဲ ၿပီးေတာ့ စကားလည္း ေျပာနိုင္တယ္ ဇြန္ဘီဘုရင္မလား?”
လီက်န္းက လင္းဖန္ကို ေမးသည္။
လင္းဖန္သည္ ေခါင္းကိုခါျပကာ
“ငါတို႔လည္း မသိဘူး။ သူ႕မိတ္ေဆြတစ္ေယာက္ကေတာ့ ဇြန္ဘီဘုရင္မပဲ”
ဖန္ယုမင္းတို႔သည္ မ်က္လုံးကြၽတ္က်မတက္ ျပဴးက်ယ္သြားကာ ပတ္ဝန္းက်င္ကို ပတ္ၾကည့္ရင္း
“ဇြန္ဘီဘုရင္မက ဒီမွာလား? ဘယ္မွာလဲ?”
သူတို႔သည္ ဇြန္ဘီဘုရင္မမ်ားမွာ ဒ႑ာရီလာသတၱဝါမ်ားဟု ေျပာလို႔ရေအာင္ရွားသျဖင့္ မျမင္ဖူးၾကေပ။ တစ္ခါမွ မၾကားဖူးၾကသျဖင့္ ဘယ္လိုပုံရွိမလဲကို တကယ္သိခ်င္ေနၾကတာ ျဖစ္သည္။
လင္းဖန္သည္ အၿပဳံးေဖ်ာ့ေဖ်ာ့ျဖင့္ ေျပာသည္။

လင္းဝမ္ဝမ္သည္ သေႏၶေျပာင္းစေတာ္ဘယ္ရီသီးမ်ားကို သြားခူးကာ ေရေဆးဖို႔လုပ္သည္။ သူတို႔နားက ျဖတ္သြားရင္းက
“သူမ်ားေတြနဲ႕ အခ်ိန္ျဖဳန္းရတာ မႀကိဳက္တဲ့ ကေလးမငယ္ငယ္ေခ်ာေခ်ာေလးပါပဲ”
ဒီလိုေျပာၿပီးေနာက္ ကန္ေဘးသို႔ သြားသည္။
ထိုအခ်ိန္တြင္ လင္းခ်င္းသည္ ကိုယ္ေဖ်ာက္လွ်က္သားျဖင့္ ဟိုတယ္အမိုးေပၚသို႔ တက္သြားႏွင့္ၿပီ။ သူမသည္ ယန္က်င္းဟြာတို႔က ဆိုလာျဖဳတ္ေနသည္ကို ေဘးကေန ရပ္ေစာင့္ၾကည့္ေနသည္။

“သမီးက လိမၼာပါတယ္။ ဆရာဝန္ေတြကို စစ္ခိုင္းလိုက္ေနာ္။ မဟုတ္ရင္ သမီးေနလို႔ထိုင္လို႔ ဘယ္လိုမွ ေကာင္းမွာမဟုတ္ဘူး”
ဝူယြဲ႕သည္ ေခါင္းကိုတစ္ခ်ိန္လုံး ခါျပသည္။
‘မဟုတ္ဘူး မဟုတ္ဘူး ေနမေကာင္းတာ မဟုတ္ဘူး ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ ဆရာဝန္နဲ႕ ေတြ႕ရမွာလဲ?’
ဝူခ်န္းယြဲ႕သည္ သူမ၏နဖူးကို ထိၾကည့္သည့္အခါ ကြၽမ္းမတက္ပူေနဆဲျဖစ္သည္။ စိတ္ပူစြာျဖင့္ ေမးသည္။
“လင္းလင္း သမီးအဆင္မေျပ မျဖစ္ဘူးလား?”
ဝူယြဲ႕လင္းသည္ ေခါင္းကိုထပ္ခါျပသည္။
“ဆရာ သူဘယ္လိုေနလဲ? ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ ကိုယ္က ဒီေလာက္ပူေနတာလဲ?”
ဝူခ်န္းယြဲ႕သည္ ေဘးက ဆရာဝန္ကို ေမးသည္။
ဆရာဝန္က ဝူယြဲ႕လင္းကို ၾကည့္ကာ နားလည္ရခက္စြာျဖင့္ ေျဖသည္။
“ကေလးက က်န္းမာပါတယ္။ အဖ်ားျဖစ္ရတာကေတာ့ ျဖစ္နိုင္ေခ် တစ္ခုရွိပင္မယ့္ မေသခ်ာဘူး”
“ဘာျဖစ္လို႔လဲ? ဘာျဖစ္လို႔ မေသခ်ာတာလဲ?”
ဝူခ်န္းယြဲ႕က စိုးရိမ္တႀကီးေမးသည္။
ဆရာဝန္သည္ ကေလးမေလးကိုၾကည့္ကာ ဝူခ်န္းယြဲ႕အား
