《Meta Human》Chapter 30: Black gang warehouse

After Alex arrived home, he switched on the TV as he recalled the shocked expression on Madam Morgan's face when she found out that he was at the top of the class.
He couldn't help but pity her profession as a teacher.
Dealing with stubborn children of all sorts.
Even though most of the students in Alex's class were already seventeen with a few who were turning seventeen, they still gave the lady a headache.
When Trevor browsed through the channel list, he accidentally opened up a news channel and the topic intrigued him.
Dr. Hudson had launched the facilities and restricting anklets for metas.
"I'll try to contact black speed and have him work with me. You can't catch a meta without another meta." Hudson smiled at the. camera.
"Hmm... What is Hudson really up to?" Alex asked himself before changing the channel.
Alex later climbed upstairs and had a bath.
After chatting on WhatsApp with Calvin for some time, he noticed a familiar dark object watch him from behind the tree next to his house.
But as soon as it noticed that it had been seen, it disappeared.
He shrugged the matter off and went to sleep.
"Wtf!" Alex exclaimed when he woke up in his classroom. On the uncleaned dusty floor.
It was still dark outside and no one had arrived at school yet
He continuously asked himself about the way he got there.
After five minutes, he collected his thoughts as he slowly cleaned the dust off his pajamas.
That was when he noticed his bracelet vibrate violently.
He tapped on it to display the message.
Attention... Attention!: new mutation! Molecular transmigration.
"Molecular transmigration? Is it teleportation or something?"Alex wondered with a hint of excitement in his eyes.
He immediately tried to teleport himself back home but failed.
Just as he was about to give up on the sixth try, his molecules vibrated and started fading out of the environment at light speed and by the time he realized, he was underwater.
In the school's swimming pool!
"Crap! I don't know how to swim!" he yelled but his voice wasn't audible.

All that left his mouth were air bubbles. He immediately regretted his actions as he felt his lungs deplete of air
He splashed the water around him as he tried to make his way up as fast as possible.
But like as if gravity hated him so much, it pulled him down to the pool the more he struggled.
Bubbles left his mouth and nose at a first-rate and he was losing his saved breath quickly.
"Why did it have to be the school's pool?" Alex cursed inwardly.
Now he regretted dodging his swimming lessons.
Swimming wasn't an option of escape.
The only way out of the pool would be to teleport.
But he hadn't gripped the concept yet.
Seeing that he was sinking more and more, he tried to calm himself down desperately.
He tried to remember the feeling and actions he did earlier to get into this situation.
"Mmmmm....." he screamed inwardly when his first attempt failed.
He had a maximum of 3 seconds before he passed out.
His head was already starting to feel light. And his lungs felt like they were about to pop any second.
But his descent to the depth of the pool didn't end.
"Crap! Why does this pool have to be so deep." He cursed.
Just as his eyes begun to close as his brain shut down, he pried them open with determination and in the next moment.
He disintegrated out of the pool and reintegrated a few blocks away from school.
He bent down as he held his knees for support and gaped his mouth for air.
After a few deep breathes, he stood upright and looked around; "Well, at least I'm no longer in the swimming pool."
He bit his lower lip as he braced himself to run all the way home before anyone could notice his soaked self.

"Pick up David. Pick up!" Alex stood at his house's closed-door as he rang David impatiently.
He had earlier tried to get in through his window but he had left it locked.
Now all he could do was phone David to let him in through the door.

"The subscriber you've called is busy. Try again later." a lady AI voice came from the bracelet when David didn't pick up.
"God! I hate that lady."
"Come on." he tapped the call button again.
And this time he was lucky David picked up.
But before he could speak, David's angry voice rang through the speakers."WHY THE HELL ARE YOU CALLING ME! WE'RE JUST ROOMS APART!"
It shook him slightly hearing the elevated tone.
"Bro... I'm outside please come and open the door!" he said in a hurried voice.
"Wait! What are you doing out?" David's hoarse and deep voice softened a bit. And Alex could tell that he had just been forcefully woken up from bed. But he had no other choice. It was either that or staying outside. He couldn't tell his parents about it.
"It's a long story. Just come open the door."
_-_-_-_-_
"Why are you soaked?" David asked in a bemused voice after he saw Alex.
"It's a long story. Will explain it later." Alex stepped in and headed to his room angrily.
Not at David, not at himself but at the stupid teleportation thingy.
Of all places he could teleport to, he teleported into a swimming pool.
Now he walked up the stairs shivering uncontrollably.
Well, at least he finally got a physical mutation.
He took off his wet clothes and wore a new set before covering himself up with the blanket and drifting off to sleep.
Two hours later, he woke up and prepared for school. The sun had already cast its light across the landscape. With its morning orange hue filling those who were by it with energy.
As he walked on the street on his way to school, he noticed something unusual.
A speeding black van raced away.
And two riders in completely black leather attire and helmet rode their black motorcycles on either side of the van as if protecting it.
Alex squinted his eyes when the breeze blew right after the speeding vehicles.
He subconsciously turned around to look at the departing vehicles.
"Hmmm....."
He borrowed a BMX from a boy and offered him five dollars.
After getting the bicycle, he rode it as fast as he could and followed the black vehicles.
After riding for about a minute, the distance between him and the black gang only increased by a large margin.
"Damn! This is pointless." Immediately, he rode off the road and into the park.
He then ditched the bicycle and tried teleporting, but couldn't get it right.
He gave up and returned the bike to the boy and continued his journey to school.
Thinking back at his actions, he couldn't help but laugh at his stupidity.
"I wish I had one of those tracking coins. Uncle Ralph gave Joseph!"
He cursed the fact that he had long wanted to join Ralph in dealing with emergencies and had to try hard.
But Joseph was found, and boom, he had already joined and given full privileges. He was allowed to use all gadgets to his use. The tracking coins, Camera Coins, and even the space rippers.
All because he was physically mutated with electric absorption and formation.
The intellectual mutation Alex had was starting to get useless for him.
He couldn't advance past level 3 in telepathy and couldn't pass level 1 in telekinesis.
He could already imagine his future behind a computer and hacking through maps searching for emergencies for Ralph and Joseph to deal with.
But now, he had teleportation.
He needed to focus on improving it and soon, he would be a full-fledged member.
He couldn't help but get excited about what he would do once he learned teleportation to the fullest.
Although one thing still bothered him.
Why was he getting new mutations? If he was to remember correctly, Uncle Ralph had previously talked about multiple mutations in the early stages but over time, he would remain with one.
But he was talking about intellectual type mutations.
Why was he getting physical mutations?
