Both Chaeryeong and Taehyun left the party earlier as they were definitely not one of those who like to socialize with other people.
Taehyun went to the car and sat on the passenger seat. Chaeryeong gave him a confused look.
"I'm really tired!"
He said as he yawned and Chaeryeong glared at him and sat on the driver's seat.
She drove off and Taehyun closed his eyes. She looked at him as she smiled.
"Maybe you aren't that bad, after all."
She said in lower voice and smiled.
"What do you mean?!"
Taehyun suddenly spoke up making Chaeryeong look at him until a truck came in front and she stopped the car suddenly, she put hand on her chest and sighed.
"What the hell was that?!"
Chaeryeong yelled at him as they were about to meet an accident because of him.
"What did you mean by that? I'm not bad at all!"
Taehyun shouted and Chaeryeong looked at him in disbelief.
"Taehyun, we were about to die!"
Chaeryeong shouted.
"Like I care!"
He said and closed his eyes again.
Chaeryeong looked at him in disbelief, does that man think that dying in no big deal?
She thought to herself and started the car again.
Both of them reached the house and straight went inside their room. Chaeryeong buried herself on the bed while Taehyun was already laying on the floor.
"I hate gatherings!"
Both of them said in unison and then looked at each other and started laughing.
Taehyun got up and sat on the bed beside Chaeryeong who was still laughing.
"I'm sorry Chaeryeong, I'm so sorry for blaming you, it was my fault. I didn't even fimd out that whom I was marrying, I ruined your life too."

He said as he lowered his head.
"I already told you to forget everything, we're a family now!"
She said and Taehyun smiled.
"Why are you so nice Chaeryeong?"
He asked and Chaeryeong.
"Born with it."
She said while dramatically flipping her hair and both of them again started laughing.
"So, are we friends?"
Taehyun hesitantly asked.
"What do you mean? Of course we are!"
Chaeryeong said while putting the strand of her hair behind her ear.
"But Taehyun, in front of everyone we'll still act like we hate each other."
Chaeryeong said as her smile faded a little.
"But why?"
He asked being a little concerned about her.
"Will tell you later."
She said and Taehyun smiled and put his hand on hers and Chaeryeong looked at him with wide eyes.
"It's alright, I'll not force you to tell me, after all you forgave me."
He gave her the most appealing smile.
"Thank you so much Tae!"
She said and he smiled.
"But there's still a big mystery."
Chaeryeong spoke and Taehyun's expressions changed.
"Who'll sleep on the bed!"
She said and Taehyun suddenly stood up.
"Is that even a question? Of course it's my bed so I'll sleep on it!"
Taehyun said and Chaeryeong also stood up.
"Ain't no way you're sleeping on the bed!"
She replied.
"Oh yeah? What will you do?"
Before he could proceed further, hey felt something hitting on his face. She threw a pillow at him.
He picked up the pillow and threw it back at her but she dodged it.
"Oh you wanna start a fight?"
She said and Taehyun folded his sleeves.
"For sure!"
He said and both of them looked at each other with piercing glares, they had a different experessions on their face.

Chaeryeong was standing near the door while Taehyun was on the opposite side. Both of them were holding a pillow, they were intensely staring at each other, Taehyun threw a pillow at Chaeryeong but she ran to the other side and the door opened and the pillow ended up hitting the person.
The person picked up the pillow and looked at both of them.
"What a way to welcome your guest!"
It was Kai, Taehyun looked at him with confusion.
"What the hell are you doing here? And with who permitted you to enter my bedroom?!"
Taehyun yelled at him.
"Now, do I need your permission?!"
Kai said.
"But you need mine!"
Chaeryeong spoke.
"I can ask her, but I won't ask you!"
Kai said.
"Am I your enemy?!"
Taehyun said while kai ignored his words.
"Also congratulations, Chaeryeong! You'll soon take over the company!"
Kai wished and Chaeryeong smiled at him.
"Also, I saw Dahye with some dude yesterday."
Kai said and Taehyun's eyes widened.
"Who was that guy?"
He asked Kai just replied, "Don't know."
"And no one has seen her in the college campus too, and there's no way she transferred to another college because we'll be graduating in five days."
Kai continued.
"Still can't get why she lied to me about being the heiress of the Lee Enterprises."
Taehyun wondered and Chaeryeong looked down.
"Only if you believed in me."

Embrace the Blade
Born crippled, it was no surprise when James Ransom died young, but he was offered an opportunity - a mission: to go to a new world and become strong enough to kill the hidden boss behind the final boss. Now in a new world he must research and study the system to take advantage of it, find his strengths; form alliances and find party members to become strong enough to face the end. This story does use Multiple perspectives and tells stories that add to the MC's. I've been given this feedback enough that I feel the need to mention that growth (levels, skills, classes, etc.) is slow, intentionally so, but constant. Credit for the cover goes to a commission for KemptBones from DeviantArt for the cover. This book is a rewrite of the original Embrace the Blade. The timeline for this one is completely separate and you do not need to read the original to understand what is going on. If you want to check out the original you can find it here (just a warning that they are NOT good): ETB Drafts 1&2 If you came here from the original EtB, WELCOME!!

Recruit - An Infinite Labyrinth prequel
A prequel to The Infinite Labyrinth. The year is 1816. The British Empire is in full swing, under the auspices of King George III. The Infinite Labyrinth has been pouring out its product from beyond our reality and fostered a new industrial revolution. Times are changing, and the people of London are feeling the winds of the revolution while British Professionals push into the Labyrinth. The newly formed Artefact Hunting Company is looking for recruits, and they have new technology to help them. From the slums of London, they aim to recruit a new wave of Professionals. And make Zacharias and the Earl of Carnavon lots of money. So, for Rowan Rivers and a handful of lucky ones, it's time to head into the Labyrinth, and discover what makes it different from England. And what makes THEM different? Recruit is a bunch of chapters I wrote to create to the setting, mood, and game systems of the Infinite Labyrinth. It is NOT a complete story in the classic sense. It's more of a slice of life view of early days of a normal Professional from the Infinite Labyrinth, and it's heavy on info-dump. It's 90% canon - there's probably a bit of a difference between how some characters and common behaviour are portrayed here and how they'll come out in the main story. Set two years before the events that kick-start the main series, it features some of the secondary/peripheral characters of the Infinite Labyrinth and will tell you all about the basic mechanics of the Labyrinth's RPG system. It can be considered a spoiler, as the characters in the Infinite Labyrinth are going to need to figure out all that, on their own. But if you like a much deeper exposition in the mechanics, here it is. The entire prequel is about 80 pages long.
