Katsuki sat in his shared room, he was currently reading books while he waited for his squad's arrival from shopping.
Christmas was a time when his squad always went crazy. They bought him extravagant gifts and pampered him like crazy. Not that he minded, Katsuki loved his squad no matter what. Gifts or not.
Katsuki enjoyed Christmas because he liked to decorate their shared house. He liked to decorate the tree, their room, he liked to decorate everything. He also liked to be with loved ones. That usually only included his squad, and sometimes his dad.
And even if the gifts were great, he didn't mind if he got them or not. As long as his squad held him dear, he would be happy for eternity.
Speak of the devils.
"We're home Katsubabe!" Kaminari yelled as he ran into the shared room, jumping onto the ash blonde.
Katsuki shrieked slightly, his book flying out of his hands.
"Aww.. I was getting to the good part." Katsuki mumbled as he was brought into Kaminari's arms.
"Opps! Sorry!" Kaminari said sheepishly as he ran a hand through Katsuki's hair.
"S'fine.." Katsuki mumbled as he enjoyed Kaminari's warmth.
"Here you go love." Sero said as he handed the ash blonde the book.
Katsuki smiled as he grabbed his book back, setting the page marker in its proper place before setting it on the table side.
"The tree is adorable, Katsubabe!" Mina shouted as she jumped on both blondes.
"House too?" Katsuki mumbled sheepishly.
"House is gorgeous!" Mina squealed as she praised the ash blonde.
"Good.. I did something different this year... I didn't know if you guys would like it or not."
"I think it's lovely." Kirishima said as he kissed Katsuki's forehead.
The squad agreed, causing Katsuki to blush.

"Y'all didn't shop for long. Already knew what you wanted to get?" Katsuki asked as he sat up, flush against Kaminari's chest.
Katsuki looked at each of his squad members, all of their faces turned red.
"You could say that." Sero mumbled with a nervous smile.
Katsuki looked at them confused, "Hm?"
"We pre-ordered a long time ago." Kirishima explained as he threw an arm over Sero's shoulder.
"The best for the best!" Kaminari cheered as he hugged Katsuki tighter.
"Can we give it to you now?" Mina asked excitedly, bouncing slightly in place.
Katsuki looked even more confused,"On Christmas Eve? I thought you idiots
liked to wait for Christmas Day."
"But we can't wait!" Mina complained as she huffed.
Sero smiled as he ran a hand through Katsuki's hair, "Please? It would mean a lot to us."
Katsuki smiled and nodded, "Okay.. where's the gifts?"
Kirishima smiled his usual toothy grin, "It's just one this year! Sorry we didn't go big like usual."
"Doesn't matter how many gifts you get me, I love you no matter what." Katsuki mumbled as he grabbed onto Sero's hand who seemed nervous.
Katsuki was confused, why did everyone seem on edge, why were they acting so different?
"Are you idiots okay? Did something happen while you guys were out? Do I have to kick someone's ass?" Katsuki asked softly, looking at his nervous squad.
Kirishima laughed, "No- no. Nothing happened! Nobody's ass needs to be kicked."
"Then why are y'all acting weird... making me nervous and shit.." Katsuki mumbled softly, the tip of his ears bright red.
Mina chuckled softly, "Aww.. sorry Kats!"
"We are just nervous about the gift, nothing to worry your pretty little head about." Sero said softly, finally gaining enough confidence to woo the nervous smile off his face.
Sero picked up Katsuki who happily laid his head on the taller male's chest.

"Don't be nervous. I would love every gift you give me, like a mum who got her fiftieth "worlds best mum" mug." Katsuki said softly, laughing at his own joke.
"You think you're a comedian don't you?" Kirishima joked as they walked to the living room.
Katsuki smiled proudly, "I think I'm pretty damn funny."
Kaminari smirked, "You're pretty, I'll give you that."
Katsuki pouted, "Assholes!"
"Joking! Joking! You're the funniest person we know." Sero said as he sat Katsuki down on the sofa.
"Damn right!"
Katsuki sat on the sofa watching his squash nervously make eye contact with each other.
"We can wait til tomorrow if you guys are nervous." Katsuki said softly, taking Mina's hands in his own trying to confront the nerves of each person in front of him.
"Nope! We're gonna do this tonight!" Mina shouted as she kissed the top of Katsuki's hands causing him to blush.
"I also have to finish decorating cookies, do you guys wanna help? Maybe that'll calm you down." Katsuki said softly as he sat his lands on his lap.
Kirishima smiled, "After.. if you would let us, we would love to decorate with you."
"Why wouldn't I let you guys?" Katsuki asked, confused.
"I feel like we are prolonging this for some reason." Kaminari said, the only one who seemed the most confident out of the rest.
Seri smirked, he was prolonging. "Spell prolonging." He muttered with a slight snicker.
Kaminari sputtered offended, "Fuck you."
"Just spit it out!" Katsuki yelled, quite tired of them going back and forth.
The yell caused Kaminari to jump which caused him to to bump into Kirishima who accidently knocked a small box from Mina's hand that was behind her back.
As it hit the floor, the box opened.
"Oh fuck." Sero muttered, his nervousness hit like a freight train as he shoved his face into hands.
Katsuki watched as his squad freaked out over their surprise being split so easily.
Katsuki couldn't help but laugh.
Who else but his squad could fuck up a proposal to such an extent.
"I didn't know you guys could be so formal." Katsuki said softly as he stood up from the sofa.
Kaminari looked ashamed, "We tried to make it perfect..."
"Sorry..." Mina mumbled, disappointment laced through her voice.
Katsuki couldn't help giggling even more, "Why are you idiots apologizing? It's already perfect."
Kirishima looked surprised, "Really?!"
Katsuki thought for a moment, "Well besides one thing."
The group looked nervous, Sero peeking out from his hands, shame clouded his eyes.
"The ring is still on the ground."
Katsuki loved watching his squad scramble to pick it up, it was the distinction that Katsuki fell in love with. His group, his friends, his loves were one of a kind.
"You idiots didn't need to be so nervous.." Katsuki mumbled as he kissed each one of them on the cheek.
"We wanted to make it perfect though." Sero mumbled as he slid the ring onto Katsuki's finger.
"I already told you... it couldn't be any more perfect than it is right now."
.
.
.
"Must you tell that story every Christmas?" Kirishima mumbled with an embarrassed smile.
Kaminari nodded, his face as bright as Kirishima hair, "Yeah! It's embarrassing!"
Katsuki giggled, "I think it's cute."
"Of course you do." Mina mumbled as she pulled the blonde into her lap.
"That was the most stressful time of my life." Sero mumbled as he laid his head on Katsuki's lap.
Katsuki laughed again, "I enjoyed myself."
"And that's all that matters." Kaminari said as he joined the group huddle, Kirishima not far behind.
"It truly was perfect."

Digital Immigrant
This is the story of how James Allen Quick and Sarah Lynn Abernathy died. By 'died', I mean that their hearts stopped, their brains ceased sending electrical impulses, and all other physical functions terminated. Immediately after which, their bodies were placed into an industrial furnace, reduced to ash, and the ash was spread about in one of the last forest reserves in North America. As ash-spreading locations go, this ranked third. First and second places were, of course, a person’s favorite athletic team’s playing field and the sea. Or rather, I should say that this is how the story begins. You see, it’s what came after that is so interesting.

Tabula Rasa : An Unbound Adventure
It starts as many things do: a clean slate, an empty page. What once was set in stone and wholly writ is gone, and all that's left is the vague notion of absence, a fullness lacking. The feeling of being tetherless, pathless, without direction or responsibility is something many would find terrifying. Others might find it freeing - an opportunity to strike out on new adventures and explore the unknown.Either way, first they have to figure out where they are and how they leave. ====== My first novel on this platform! An avid GameLit/LitRPG fan, I decided to start writing this when I seemed to exhaust all of my options for well reviewed content on the site! Inspiration for the world/general feeling is a mix of Azarinth Healer, Abyssal Road Trip, Winterborn, and the Power of Ten series, with a strong reliance on 3.5 and PF1 frameworks as a scaffold for the world. I see Arc 1 as a Robinson Crusoe style coming to terms scenario, lots of exploration of the System, the MC's options, the island and encounters with the denizens and visitors of the Timeless Isle, with a non-zero amount of introspection around their long term goals. I'll publish as frequently as I'm able but don't have a regular cadence planned at the moment.
