Katsuki was often ridiculed for his outbursts.
Kaminari was often ridiculed for his supposed, "slowness"
Their squad both knew that their beloved blondes often got the shorter end of the stick when it came to their classmates.
They tried their best to cheer up both blondes but sometimes too much, was too much.
.
.
.
"Shut up! Shut up! Shut up!" Katsuki yelled as he shoved his chair backwards, the chair flipping startling his classmates whose jokes finally quieted down.
"Look who's at it again."
The class laughed at another cruel joke.
"Guys.. that's enough." Kirishima said as he stood up.
Mina nodded, also standing up, "I don't know how many times we gotta tell you, it's getting tiring."
"Yeah! Leave them him the fuck alone!" Sero yelled, looking like he would leap from his desk any minute to strangle someone.
"You guys don't need to stand up for him. He's a big boy, he can handle himself can't he?"
More laughter.
Katsuki gritted his teeth together. They wanted a reaction, he knew that. And no matter how much he tried to calm himself down, he couldn't help but react.
"And him? You guys just can't help but stand up for the idiots? Two loud ass blondes. Nice choice."
Kaminari looked down, ashamed. Katsuki looked at the other blonde, noticing how ashamed he looked Katsuki couldn't help but also feel ashamed. Were they supposed to be ashamed?
They were a couple of embasments to the squad weren't they?
"Look, the rabid dog turned docile. Watch out he might still have rabies."
Even more laughter.
"Leave them alone! I'm getting sick of them being the butt of your jokes!" Sero yelled, throwing back his chair as he stood with such speed.

"Who said they were jokes?"
More fucking laughter. Like it was a broken record, playing the same sound over and over again.
Kaminari looked up, he noticed his usual strong and boastful friend crumble with shame. He quickly stood and grabbed his friend's hand, his own shame being pushed behind as they ran out the classroom. Normally Katsuki would be the stronger one in this situation, as usually Kaminari would crumble after the first insult but today was different, the ash blonde looked so defeated and tired.
"I hate them, I hate them, I hate them!" Katsuki shouted as he pulled at his hair, hot tears pouring down his face.
Kaminari nodded, gently pulling Katsuki's hands out of his own hair.
"They're irritating as fuck!" Katsuki cried out as Kaminari pulled him into a hug.
Kaminari held the ash blonde close, sliding down against the tree that the squad made memories at, every day. Some good, some bad. Always memorable.
"I'm sorry.. sorry I can't stand up to them anymore..." Katsuki sobbed as he shoved his head into Kaminari's chest.
Kaminari just held the blonde close, it was true. When the squad wasn't around to stand up for them, Katsuki was always the one to fight back, to stand up. Yet lately he lost the will to fight. It's gotten so bad to the point, Katsuki didn't even wanna leave his room, Kaminari didn't blame him. They were ruthless, at first the jokes were funny, just harmless humor. Then when it came to humor and jokes, they began to only focus on Kaminari and Katsuki. And the harmless human began to hurt.
Why them?
What did they do?
Were they really that bad?
Soon Katsuki had fallen asleep, his sobs turned to soft snores and he let peace consume his body. Kaminari sat there holding the ash blonde, his hands running through Katsuki's soft spikes.

Not long after Katsuki had fallen asleep the rest of the squad arrived.
"Sorry we took so long." Mina apologized as she sat down.
"Yeah, we could have came sooner but Sero was kicking some serious ass." Kirishima said softly as he sat down next to Mina.
"I told him to shut it." Sero muttered as he slid down next to Kaminari.
"He's asleep?" Mina whispered as she rubbed Kaminari arm gently with a sweet smile.
Kaminari nodded, enjoying the soft massage he got from his friend.
"Why don't you sleep as well? We got you guys.. we are gonna protect you." Kirishima whispered as he ruffled Kaminari's hair.
Kaminari nodded once more, he leaned against Sero's shoulder, listening to their conversation as he began to close his eyes, letting sleep consume him.
Kaminari smiled as he drifted off the sleep, he was lucky to have such good friends. Ones that understood.

Almost a Good Person
A memory, a memory of a boy who wanted more than pain, of a girl who wanted more than death, and an Isle that should not exist. The Isle of Red is a small, unassuming, quiet place. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. A beacon in the storm to show him the stunning pastels and brightness the sun may yet refract through his thinner, sharper pieces. Theoline will lead as she always has- well not always, not yet. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. And still, there is earth beneath me, a noisy pub down the road from me, and several people clucking conspiratorially on a balcony above me. She knows... that the Isle of Red doesn't belong here. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello!
