《Austeled one-shots》The ballroom

This is a part 2 to 'the locker'
(I used AI to write this so that's why it doesn't entirely make sense 💀)
3'rd person
They both thought.
Austin looked back to see the previously decrepit doors slam shut to reveal a fancy, non-broken design on the other side.
Out of the blue, calm ballroom music started playing.
Eteled yelled as Austin grabbed him by the waist.
"May I have this dance?~" He asked.
Eteled exclaimed.
"Oh, cmon. It's fine!" Austin persuaded.
Eteled complained.
"Just try!" Austin urged.
Eteled insisted.
Austin sighed as his grip loosened.
"You're right. I'm sorry it's fine you don't have to–"
Eteled stopped him, groaning slightly.
Austin chuckled.
"Alright..."
Eteled looked nervous.
"So how are we going to start?" Austin asked.
Eteled replied. Austin nodded.
He mumbled under his breath.
Eteled placed his hands on Austin's shoulders as they began to dance. Eteled did his best to follow his instruction as the music continued.
They danced in a circle around one another, every so often repeating the motions.
Austin tried to teach Eteled a more difficult dance, but he seemed to have trouble figuring out what to do while also not tripping.
Eteled complained.
"Just keep doing it! You're almost there!" Austin encouraged.
After a few minutes, Eteled learned how do it without tripping or messing up.
He muttered.
"See? It was easy, right?" He exclaimed.
He complemented, almost envious.
"No way..." He replied, awkwardly laughing.
Austin raised an eyebrow.
"I mean... it's not that..."
Eteled thought for a moment, and then gave Austin a soft smile.
Austin smiled and nodded at him.
"I guess you're right..."
He asked.
"O-Okay, you're gonna put your arms up above your head and show me your stomach."
Eteled admitted.

"You've done a lot of stuff already! How can that be a new thing?" Austin complained.
Eteled blushed.
Austin giggled.
"You're cute when you're embarrassed."
Eteled blushed even more.
"So... what do you think is gonna happen next?" Austin asked, breaking the awkward silence. Eteled shrugged.
"Danced before?"
Eteled nodded, flustered.
"That's okay. Seems like you're already getting the hang of it!"
Eteled smiled.
He said excitedly.
"It is! So is... well, so is a lot of things, you know? A lot of things you wouldn't expect." He smiled. "And... that's what makes me happy."
"Yeah..."
Austin and Eteled danced a few more times. At one point, Eteled put his hands to his chest.
Austin and Eteled continued to dance until the music ended.
Eteled said. Austin nodded.
"Good. It's something new, right?"
Eteled hummed in agreement.
"You should do more of that. Just to have fun!"
Eteled smiled at him.
Austin chuckled and patted his head.
"Sure thing."
The pair kept dancing for a while as a new song played alongside them.
"Can we just have a couple more songs? Please??" Austin begged. Eteled laughed softly and nodded.
Austin and Eteled did another dance for a few songs, until Eteled accidentally tripped over Austin's foot.
Luckily, Austin caught him, wrapping an arm around his waist and a hand gabbing onto his thigh.
Their faces were so close, making the tension rise. They looked into each others eyes for a moment, feeling their hot breaths brush against each other.
And, before either one of them could even think about moving away, Austin kissed Eteled on the lips. The kiss lasted only for a moment, before Austin pulled away.
"Fuck! I-I'm sorry!" Austin apologised, getting Eteled back to his feet. Eteled smiled nervously.

He stuttered.
They held the other's gaze a bit longer. Then, the music ended.
Eteled started to say, his words soon trailing off.
"... And they say gay and straight can't be together."
Eteled grinned at Austin's remark.
He laughed.
"Shut up, dork." Austin smiled. Eteled blushed.
He joked. Austin's expression lightened.
"Erm... No... You're right. I... am kinda gay..ish"
Eteled giggled.
Eteled felt himself blush, as he couldn't help but look away, breaking contact.
After that, Eteled looked around for a potential way out. Out of nowhere, the floor began to crack and break open.
"Hm?"
"...Shit."
Just as he said that, large cracks in the floor fell into an abyss. Eteled grabbed Austin's hand, holding it tight.
Austin pulled Eteled close as the ground slipped from underneath them.

Journey West 5000

Unstable and weakened, will he be more hindrance than help? Can he become the warrior he once was?A Monk and a Monkey journey across a world...... where the remnants of technology are seen as magic, while pockets of humanity strive to drag themselves out of ignorance.... where the descendants of animal-human hybrids, once created as instruments of war, now seek to dominate the world as demons.... where beings who call themselves Immortals and Gods preoccupy themselves with selfish pastimes, ignoring everything else. Among other things, a story about growth, grit, and being better than the person you were yesterday. Here's my rambling on why I'm writing Journey West 5000. Journey West 5000 is my crazy ambitious writing project to adapt a classic epic called "Journey to the West" for a global, modern audience. It's a sci-fi story disguised as fantasy, and has some road trip + monster of the week elements (as does the original Journey to the West). No system, definitely no harem, gradual power progression. Hmm, what else can I put here so potential readers know what to expect? My writing style for now is mostly "show don't tell", because I believe that readers don't need to have everything pointed out to them, and that they should be allowed to make up their own minds about characters based on the actions of those characters. I'm also trying to be less long-winded (a weakness pointed out by some friends) in order to write according to something Neil Gaiman said, which is to write as though I'm the one who has to pay for every word, not the reader. This will bring down my chapter word counts, and might drive away potential readers, but I believe there's value in learning to compress and be concise. All chapters posted here will have been edited. Constructive criticism, comments, and feedback would be very much welcome and appreciated. Please, please help point out any typos or grammatical mistakes, I'm striving to minimize those as much as possible. Above all, I hope you enjoy my story.

Thomas the Brawler
Thomas doesn't remember what his last name was, before it became Bluebrim, a name belonging to another universe. He's also pretty sure he wasn't this stupid before he arrived, but what can you do, when a day that was supposed to begin with an interview to set your life back on track instead begins in a universe that makes no sense, with rules you can't begin to understand? Maybe he should have paid more attention to the avatar creation screen ... Content warnings: All of them. Seriously. Expect lots of blue screens to begin with. Don't expect a power-leveling fantasy, in which the lone hero beats up all the bad guys, and gets a harem of women. There's just a guy who treats character creation like an annoying series of pop-up advertisements, and the story is basically the ramifications of that. The main character has to learn to take the world he's found himself in seriously, and he'll learn the way most of us do, by doing it wrong first. This is, insofar as it is successful, a dark comedy fantasy. Also a bit of horror, particularly but not exclusively body horror. I'm pretty sure I've earned those Content Warning tags, so, uh, yeah. This is practice. Hopefully things improve as I go, and figure out what I'm doing wrong, but I make no guarantees things will ever get better. I've already made mistakes, I'll make more, and I'm happy to notice them each time I make them. You don't improve unless you fail. (On the plus side, it probably won't get much worse.) Feel free to point out anything you think I'm doing wrong; I don't promise to change anything, particularly if it's a matter of taste, but I am looking to improve, and figuring out what I need to improve goes faster if I don't have to try to figure it out myself. I've updated the earlier chapters for formatting, in the hope that it would make everything easier to read on mobile devices. Hopefully things work slightly better now, but please let me know if there are any issues anywhere.

The wish trials
The God of reincarnation has brought to many idiots back to life with ridiculous wishes and the high council is sick of it messing up their worlds. So a new God was brought in. One that actually made people earn their new lives. But the actions of this unknown deity cause a boy's life to spiral out of control. After a tragic incident, the boy meets the diety where he requests to be able to fly. To accommodate this desire he allows the Boy to complete his task in the body of a random bird. There's only one problem, this bird cant fly. Follow the voices in the boy's head as he struggles to survive and grow stronger so he can get the life he always wanted. Criticism would be great. I also have heavy dyslexia along with some other metal 'uniqueness' so this whole story is a big F you to it but I am sorry for any and all inevitable mistakes.
