Felix's POV

«Are you sure we're walking the right way?" Hyunjin asked

"Do you not trust me?" I responded

He sighed

"I trust you"

We had been walking for 10 minutes already. Kai kept sending me messages asking if we were close. I didn't bother responding to them. He knew we weren't running our asses off.

I was confident that we were walking the right way. I had seen Kai's house multiple times before.

"Do you want me to take ur bags?" Hyunjin asked

"Are you stupid?" I questioned him, holding up the lightest bags ever.

I took that as an insult. Did he really believe I was that weak? Come on. The bags were so light, and we only had a couple minutes of walking left.

"My bad, my bad" he apologized after noticing my reaction

"Muh muh my bad blah blah" I mimicked him

He laughed under his breath, annoying me even more. He's lucky that he's handsome.

We were standing right in front of the house only a few minutes later. It was normal-sized. Nothing crazy, but it looked cozy and nice.

I decided to call Kai instead of knocking on the door.

I told him we were outside, and he let out a relieved exhale before saying "finally" as if we were late.

"There you are" he said after opening the door

Me and Hyunjin walked up to him, and he let us both in. I wondered if any of his parents were home yet. I knew his dad was the one making the pizza. He'd been blabbering about that a lot.

I wasn't sure if he had a stepmom tho. It might've just been him and his dad.

He reached his hand out to give us both a handshake.

"Have you guys chosen any movie to watch yet?" He asked us

I started taking my shoes off. Kai took my bags In the meantime.

"Nah, not really" I said

"Good, cause we're watching Shrek" he responded

I looked up at him and smiled

"Alright"

He started walking around in the house, and me and Hyunjin followed after like ducklings. I kept looking around me to see if anyone else were home.

"Which Shrek movie are we watching?" Hyunjin asked

"All of them, duh" Kai said

"Can we skip the third one?" I asked

"Sure, that's fair" he replied

We followed him into a whole cinema-looking room. There was a huge tv on the wall, and the lights were pink. An odd looking fortress made out of carpets, chairs and pillows caught my attention right away.

"I made it myself" Kai said proudly, standing in front of it.

I could hear Hyunjin cackling, so I slightly slapped him to make him shut up.

"It's awesome!" I exclaimed

Kai shrugged and smirked

"Yo, your tv is huge" I said

"Yeah, it's decent" he said confidently

Hyunjin ducked down to look inside the carpet-fortress. I noticed there was some light coming from the opening.

"Damn" Hyunjin mumbled

I ducked down to look inside as well. To my surprise, it looked amazing. He had hung up these hanging lights, just like the ones Hyunjin had in his room. There was a mini table in the middle of the floor with empty plates, bowls and cups on.

I giggled when I noticed the pillow placement. On the left side, there was one singular pillow in the corner, and on the right side there were two pillows scrunched up against each other.

"Don't judge a book by it's cover i guess" Hyunjin said, referring to how much better the inside of the fort looked compared to the outside.

"Are you saying it looked ugly outside?" Kai questioned him.

Me and Hyunjin made awkward eye contact.

"Kind of" he responded

"Whatever, where are the snacks you guys brought?" Kai asked

"It's literally in your hand" I said, pointing to the bag he took from me earlier

He crawled into the fortress, and brought the bag with him. His eyes widened as he noticed all the snacks we had. Yeah, me and Hyunjin kind of went overboard. I had a feeling his parents wouldn't be too happy if they noticed how much we took from the cupboard.

"Dang, I invited you over to a movie night not a diabetes speed run competition" Kai said

We just chuckled in response before starting to fill the bowls and cups. The plates were for the pizza later, obviously.

Kai started explaining us rules that we had to follow, or else he'd kick us out. Most of them had something to do with sex, even though we kept telling him we weren't completely feral.

"Well you guys did have sex at a Christian Bible camp, so i don't see why you wouldn't want to do it here" He said

"That's different" I explained

I started to feel embarrassed after having to listen to Kai talk about me and Hyunjin like that. I felt like I couldn't look Hyunjin in the eyes even though he just found it funny.

Luckily though I managed to change the topic pretty easily. And after all the snacks and soda's were perfectly plated Kai turned the TV on. Me and Hyunjin spared no time to cuddle up in the corner.

I laid myself between his legs, with my head on his chest. Kai side eyed us and rolled his eyes before finally turning the movie on.

I reached my hand out to grab a gray carpet laying next to our legs. I then covered us both with it.

During the first twenty minutes or so of the movie, Hyunjin fed me with a Pringle every ten seconds. No wonder there was nothing left. I had my cup of sprite in my right hand all the time. The left hand was for Hyunjin.

"He's so hot" Kai mumbled, talking about Shrek.

"I thought u weren't into people and all that" I said

"People yeah, not ogres" he responded

I knew he was joking, but a small part of me believed it. I mean, you never know with that guy.

"What do you want?" Hyunjin asked me, pointing to the snacks

His arm was long enough to reach the table. Both of mine were occupied.

"Twix" I replied

He grabbed a Twix bar, and opened the wrapper with his teeth. It was one of these double-bars that came with two. He took one out, and I let go of his hand to grab it. -But then he stopped me, insisting that he would feed me instead.

I opened my mouth just slightly, and the fucker stuck the whole thing into my mouth, causing me to instantly gag in response.

"Fuck you" I laughed all embarrassed

I let go of his hand and slapped the arm he was holding the Twix in. He kept giggling at me.

Not until we were done bickering I noticed Kai had paused the movie staring at us with the most disappointing look on his face.

I broke into even more laughter just looking at his 90° turned head, and curled brow.

"You." he said annoyed

"Turn it on again" I laughed

He was just about to resume when we heard footsteps close to our fort.

I froze in Hyunjin's arms, not even thinking fast enough to roll away from him.

"What are you doing in my swamp?!" A man said before sticking his head into the opening of our fort.

I jumped, and almost spilled my soda everywhere.

"I got you good!" The man said, pointing at me

I was still shocked

"Im his dad", he pointed to Kai, "nice to meet you"

"Hi" I said quietly

He then started crawling INTO our fort, stealing a handful of chips.

No wonder Kai turned out this way. There was no doubt in me they were related.

"I see you two are all cuddled up already" he said

Me and Hyunjin awkwardly laughed.

"It's ok, it's ok, I'm not homopathic or whatever you call it" he added

I had nothing to say.

"Whatever, I'll leave" he said

He grabbed another handful of chips before crawling out the fort. I was left speechless. Kai looked pretty embarrassed, but not surprised.

"Wait!" His dad stopped on his way out of the room, "what pizza toppings do you gays, sorry, guys* want?"

I heard him cackle at his little joke. It was definitely intentional.

"Pepperoni!" Both me and Hyunjin jinxed

I tried to hold my laughter.

"Alright!" He exclaimed before closing the door behind him.

We all went quiet for a couple seconds.

"Sorry bout that" Kai said before resuming the movie
