I instantly pulled him into a passionate kiss, wrapping my arms around his neck as I pushed us back towards his bed. We toppled over onto it when he lost his balance, unable to contain his laughter any longer as I felt his lips curl into a giddy grin.

"What's gotten into you?" He sighed, now looking up at me with lovestruck eyes. All I could manage was a dizzy smile, pulling him back into another kiss, wanting nothing more than all of him. He played along for a bit, tangling his fingers in my hair, kissing me back, before giggling again.

"Jaime.." He sighed, his hands moving down to my hips, carefully moving me from on top of him.

"W-what's wrong?" I asked. I had just thought.. after everything, we were finally here again. And I didn't care what it was like, all I wanted was him.

"I just think that.. well, you've had a lot to drink, and.. I didn't, and I don't want it to feel-"

"It's okay, I'm okay, I promise." I said, pulling him into another long kiss, my heart beating faster as he reached his hand up, gently caressing my face before moving away again, leaning his forehead against mine.

"Oh, I know you're okay." He laughed, brushing the hair out of my face. "You're a little too okay. I don't think I'll be able to keep up with you."

"Well, then let me-"

"Jaime.." He said again, shaking his head.

"You're no fun." I groaned, rolling over, now hiding my face in his pillow.

As I finally closed my eyes, I could already feel the room start to spin, but couldn't help but smile at the sound of his laughter.

"I'm no fun?" I shook my head, peeking back out at him. He nodded, playfully rolling his eyes.

"Come here.." He said, reaching over for me, helping me back up. He unzipped Sam's jacket and tossed it onto the floor before lifting up his blankets and helping me underneath them, cuddling in close next to me. I instantly rolled over, wrapping my arm around him, pulling him up against me. He smelt of cinnamon and sugar and Winter air; he was so easy to get lost within.

"You smell good." I whispered, cuddling closer, nuzzling my face into his neck. I felt his grip on me get tighter as he draped one leg over me, and for the first time in a long time, I felt completely safe. I knew that if I was with him, nothing bad could ever happen, and that's all I've ever wanted.

"Well, thank you." He said timidly. "I always try to for you."

"You don't have to try."

"Yes I do." He laughed. "You have no idea how hard I try to be perfect for you."

"You always have been."

"Then I'm glad it's working."

I don't know how he managed to do it, time and time again, but he was the only one who could ever talk me down in such a way where suddenly it was like nothing was more intimate that simply laying in his arms; just being held by him was enough to make me feel so loved, and maybe if I had been able to see it back then, then maybe things could've gone better our first time.

But even still, I was happy that it was with him, regardless of how, because if it hadn't happened then, who knows if it would have been him at all.

So at least I'll have that forever.

"You know what I want though." I muttered. He nodded, giggling to himself again.

"Oh trust me, I know exactly what you want. I've seen that look before, but.. you're not getting it tonight."

"Why not?" I sighed, peeking back up at him.

"Because.." He said. "When I make love to you, I want you to remember it."

My heart jumped, my entire body feeling like it was on fire. That was all it took; nothing could make me want him more than I did right now. And I knew it didn't matter how much I drank. I would never forget the next time we were together. No matter what.

I pulled him into another long kiss, tangling my fingers in his hair. He kissed me back harder, his hands slowly moving up my body, gently caressing my neck. Maybe I could convince him..

"Jaime.." He sighed, moving away again. "And.. you know how I feel about.. wanting to be together before we do anything."

"So then ask me." I said, gently kissing up his neck, slowly maneuvering myself on top of him. He shook his head, his smile growing as his hands moved down to my waist.

"Then.. what if I ask you." I said, kissing him across his cheek, to his lips, to the other side of his neck. His grip got tighter.

"Don't, Jaime." He laughed. "I don't want to say no."

"Then don't."

"I want to do this.. a certain way."

"Why?" I sighed, moving away. He stared back up at me with a gentle smile, now reaching up to gently caress my cheek. It was impossible to not to love him with everything that I had.

"Because we're special, Jaime. And I want it to be special. I want everything with you to be special." I held my stare on him, eventually leaning into another gentle kiss.

"Okay." I sighed, rolling back over next to him, lying my head on his chest. My heart started beating faster as I felt his hand gradually slide under my shirt, his fingertips gently grazing up and down my back.

"Thank you."

"Josh, can I ask you something." I muttered, feeling my eyes lids start to get heavy. I felt him nod.

"Mhm."

"Do you want a family?" I felt his chest gently bounce with his quiet laughter.

"Is this drunk Jaime talking?" He asked. I nodded. He was quiet for a moment.

"Yes." He said simply. "Do you?"

"Yes."

"I think you'd be an amazing mom." He said softly, his hands slowly moving into my hair, gently massaging the top of my head. I couldn't help but smile, nuzzling closer.

"I think you'd be an amazing dad. And then.. one day we can all make cookies together and drive around and look at Christmas lights and.. we can take them down to the gazebo and wrap their gifts while they're sleeping." He was quiet again. I peeked back up at him, his silence now making me nervous that I had said too much. But he was already staring back down at me with a smile, his eyes looking like they were seconds away from welling up with tears.

"I would love that, Jaime." I pulled him into a gentle kiss, leaning my forehead against his again.

"Me too." I managed before my eyelids became heavier again.

"You would want that.. with me?" He asked. I nodded.

"Yes."

"I really think this is just drunk Jaime talking." He laughed, holding his stare on me as his fingers lightly traveled up and down my spine.

"It's not." I muttered. "I've thought about this a lot."

"Oh you have?" I couldn't help but smile, as his grew into a toothy grin. I nodded.

"And.. what are our hypothetical children's names?" He asked, now playing along. I sat up to face him, reaching over for his hand. He slowly intertwined our fingers without breaking our wistful stare.

"I haven't gotten that far yet." I giggled. "What about you?"

"Have I gotten that far yet?" He asked. "I don't know, you kinda just sprung this on me a few minutes ago." I playfully rolled my eyes, moving in closer.

"I'm just kidding." He said softly, his eyes moving down to my lips. "I.. I might've thought about it."

"Might've?" I teased, leaning in closer. He nodded, biting down on his lip.

"I have." He sighed.

"With me?" I asked, giggling to myself. He eventually nodded, his cheeks burning bright red.

"With you."

"We can name one after you." I said, climbing back into his lap, wrapping my arms around his neck.

"Oh, how many are we having?" He laughed, leaning in, gently kissing my cheek.

"Lots." I said, smirking back at him. He sighed, holding his stare on me for a moment before finally leaning into a long, tender kiss.

"Whatever you want, Jaime. But let's get through school first."
