《Duplicity | E. Jaeger/J. Kirstein》° 016

When Connie said truth, dare or drink with a group of people, you had assumed it was would be some randoms that you've never met before, not the exact people you were hoping to avoid all night long.
Armin, Mikasa and Eren sat around the seating area in a secluded room, along with a few other people you didn't initially recognize— two other blondes; one a tall, muscular male and the other, a petite woman with long hair and eyes as blue as Armin's. All the while, the freckled brunette you spotted Eren speaking with moments earlier was seen seated closely next to her, fingers deftly intertwined.
This was not good.
Jean immediately locks eyes with Eren— the two sporting the same vicious gaze, neither one willing to back down first before the other. Jean hasn't forgotten the name you called out that day in the kitchen; truthfully he'll probably never forget it, even if he's chosen to forgive you for it.
So being here, now, face to face with the neighbor you were thinking of while he was the one lapping at you... well, it was taking everything in him to not reach across the center table and strangle the man.
He meant what he said to you earlier, that he was going to change for you; be a better man, like the one he was when you fell in love with him. He was determined to prove it to you, and this was the first step— no more accusations, no more petty arguments, no more jealousy.
Still, that doesn't stop him from from wrapping an arm around your waist and pulling you closer; one last ditch effort to show Eren that despite your current situationship, break or no break, you still belong to him.
Eren's skin crawls at the sight of Jean's hands all over you. Maybe it shouldn't bother him this much— surely he knew what he was getting himself into when he decided to mess with someone in a relationship... but fuck, it hurts.
It actually hurts.
It was this exact moment when he realized how truly attached to you he had become. Whether those feelings were more than just lustful infatuation, he wasn't entirely sure... but he knew one thing; he didn't want you to be with anyone else but him, especially not the asshole who was gripping onto your hips like a vice.
He could ruin you right now, if he wanted to.
He could expose you for the little slut you were, telling everyone in this room how you were just bouncing on his dick in the fuckin' parking lot of Connie's apartment complex the evening before.

But...
He won't.
He won't, because he knows he'll lose you indefinitely if he does.
That would be much worse; having to share you unknowingly with another man was better than not having you at all. So, he'll keep his mouth shut.
Even if it hurts.
"Okay, everyone here?" Armin asks as he holds of an unopened bottle of tequila, waving it around with a pert smile on his pouty lips before setting it down on the expensively glassed coffee table. He glances around the room and checks heads, making sure everyone was accounted for.
"Rules are simple— when it's your turn, you either choose truth or dare. When the question or dare is given to you, you can either choose to accept it or take a shot." He continues, mischievous sapphire eyes flitting over to catch your gaze.
"Anything goes."
You gulp at his statement, which was clearly meant for you and you alone.
What exactly was Armin up to?
You were afraid to find out.
"Everyone good with the rules?" He asks once more, finally taking his seat down beside Eren. After the crowd all agrees, he offers a subtle smirk before whispering something into his best friend's ear.
"Then let's get started."
The first few rounds of truths and dares were fairly tame and idiotic— Connie ended up having to squirt lime juice in his eye while Jean had to snort a line of salt; you had to fake moan and Armin had to answer whether he was a virgin or not— to which most people in the room were shocked to find out that he wasn't.
Alas, as the shots started flowing, the rounds became much more daring. Poor Reiner had to strip completely naked and finish the rest of the game with only a sock over his genitals; a dare that you were sure he would drink for but instead, he insisted 'he wasn't no bitch' and fulfilled the request.
"Okay, Eren." Reiner starts, chewing at his bottom lip as he thinks of some material for the brunet. "Truth or dare?"
Eren ponders for a bit, running a hand through silky strands of his thick, chestnut hair. He's careful about where he places his eyesight, not wanting to witness how Jean steals a kiss from you every now and then between questions— the way his lips playfully graze your neck as he loses himself in your scent, the alcohol fueling his flirtatious motives and you so willingly going along with it.

Truthfully, he's had about enough.
"Dare."
His reply is short and sweet as he awaits his fated requirement to leave Reiner's lips.
"I dare you... to kiss the person that you're most attracted to in this room."
Eren's eyes shift between his options, although he knows he doesn't need even a semblance of a second thought about who he wants to kiss. He thinks pretty damn hard; should he just play it safe and take the shot? Should he kiss one the other girls, maybe even Armin?
Just as he's about to decline and reach for the bottle, he hears a soft giggle leave your lips as you swipe Jean's sizable palm away from creeping up your thigh. He watches the man mutter something in your ear, to which your expression flusters almost instantly.
Yeah, he's definitely had enough.
Eren stands up to his full height before leaning across the table over to the couch that you, jean and Connie were seated on. He wastes no time in gripping your jaw firmly in his grasp, forcing you to witness the glare that glows green with envy, just as brightly as his viridian eyes.
In an instant, his lips crash against yours. You hesitate to kiss him back at first but as soon as you familiarize yourself with those deep, passionate kisses that you've been blessed to taste, you melt into Eren's touch— a tiny whimper escapes your throat as you feel his pierced tongue swirl against yours, and you don't even realize how hard you're gripping onto Jean's forearm as a way to prevent yourself from letting out anymore lewd noises.
Your eyes flutter shut, while Eren's peek open to side-eye the man seated next to you as he smirks against your lips before releasing you from his grasp. Jean's blood boils as he watches Eren wipes your essence away from his mouth with the back of his hand— shakily attempting to stand to his feet and give the asshole a piece of his boozed mind.
"What the fuck, Jaeger?" Jean's tone is sharp and volatile in the way he suddenly spits his venom at Eren, who simply displays an expression of no fucks given.
Luckily, Connie's there to stop him from going any further as he grabs his wrist and pulls him back down onto the couch with a thump. Meanwhile, you sit there stunned, exchanging bewildered glances between the two men who keep their eyes on each other.
Did Jean notice the way you lost yourself in Eren's touch? Did he notice the familiarity between the two of you, and how Eren knew exactly how to kiss you to elicit a response such as that? You had hoped the alcohol was enough to slow down his thought process— in any case, he didn't make a single peep more.
"Relax, it's just a game."
Armin's softly toned voice is enough to stop the stir of commotion happening the room, as everyone stops to face the blonde who only smiles back sheepishly at his peers. Jean groans something inaudible under his breath as he slumps back down next to you. His demeanor is much different now— no longer wanting to be close to you or make bodily contact.
Maybe it's a good thing, you think, because now he won't be able to feel how your skins burns at the thought of your previous sins with the man who just so blatantly kissed your lips right in front of him.
Eren slumps back into his own seat soon enough, tying up his hair into his signature bun before leaning forward, resting his elbows atop his muscular thighs as he peeks at you through wispy strands of the dark hair that frames his face. His intense eyes bore into you as if you two are the only ones here in the room; as if he's challenging you to make a move... daring you to try something he would consider an act of betrayal against him.
This is a side of Eren you've yet to see, and it should probably frighten you.
So why does is excite you, instead?
"Ok, no more dares— since some people aren't able to handle it." Armin gripes, poking at Jean's inability to control his emotions during what the blonde would consider 'all in good fun.'
Undoubtedly, Armin is the mastermind here— enjoying the way everyone so unknowingly bends to his will, like puppets putting on a show for his own twisted sense of entertainment. His lips curl wickedly as he smiles; those haunting eyes swallow you whole and pull you under, drowning in a sparkling sea of baby blue.
