The car ride home was agonizing.
You sat in the passenger seat, arms folded across your chest, head pressed against window as you watched the trees whir by. The brutal reality of what you had just done sunk in all too quickly after your adrenaline induced high faded away— your lustfully clouded mind was finally clear and coherent...
You cheated on your boyfriend.
Not only did you cheat with one man, but two.
Go big or go home, right? No— this was no time for jokes.
Jean was a lot of things, but surely he didn't deserve this. You felt sick to your stomach— disgusting. Worst of all... you knew that you'd do it again, if given the chance.
What the fuck is wrong with me?
You honestly didn't have the slightest clue, but it was undeniable; the way that anytime Eren looked at you with those gorgeous viridian eyes, it made you melt into a pathetic puddle of simp. Ick.
Amidst your morbid frustration, you feel Eren's heavy palm rest against your thigh— a light squeeze beckons your attention, as you glance over at the brunet who steadily focuses his eyes on the road. He even made something so simple as driving down the street look like it came straight out of a page spread in Vogue magazine.
How could you get passed something like this? You weren't sure if you'd be able to, especially since even if you decided to cut things off with Eren, the fact remained that he was still your neighbor. You couldn't escape your shame.
"You good?" He asks, taking a quick glance in your direction before his eyes flit back onto the road.
"I don't know."
It was the honest truth. You couldn't really decipher how you were feeling in this instant. You certainly felt horrible about cheating on Jean, but at the same time, you were enjoying Eren's calming presence. You felt free with him, like you could be yourself without Judgement.

Still, you loved Jean— you've always loved him, even when you were at each other's throats.... but is that really enough? Is it enough to stay in a relationship that has more downs than ups?
Your answer to that loaded question would've been yes a week ago, but now... you weren't so sure.
You knew one thing, you needed time to think. That meant time away from Eren, even if your body was telling you otherwise.
The car rolled into your apartment complex— he parked his car in the assigned parking space, cutting off the engine as he turned to face you. He studied your body language throughly, taking notice of how stand-offish and uncomfortable you've become.
He understood, he really did; but don't expect any sympathy from him. He doesn't regret what happened, and quite frankly, he doesn't think you should either.
"It's okay, you know. You did what you wanted to do, there's nothing wrong with that."
Nothing wrong?
"I cheated on my boyfriend, Eren. That's wrong."
"Did you enjoy it?"
"What?"
"Answer me."
Your brows furrow. How could he ask you something like that? You were sure it was obvious— what struck you as odd was how nonchalant he seemed about the whole thing, as if this was just normal behavior, as if it was just to be expected of you.
He leans over, gripping your jaw to face him directly as he stares at you with such intensity— hypnotically focused as he breathes you in.
"Did you like it when I fucked you so hard, that you made a mess all over my cock?"
His sultry words fanned against your lips; his breath cool and minty from freshly brushed teeth tingled your skin, all the way down to your core. It wasn't fair... Eren had you wrapped around his finger— he knew it, and so did you.

"...yes."
You answer meekly, not only out of shame, but because Eren's intimidating demeanor commanded your obedience. You really did belong to him now, even if you weren't fully aware of that yet.
He backs away, releasing his hold on you as he sink back into his seat.
"Then, maybe he shouldn't be your boyfriend anymore."
You weren't sure why, but his words stung. The thought of Jean being anything other than your boyfriend felt... fabled; a fictitious fabrication of something that just wasn't possible.
"It's more complicated than that Eren... I can't just— I need to think about it." You weren't sure what you were even rambling at this point and it probably wasn't making sense, but you didn't want to tell him something that you couldn't hold yourself accountable for.
"If you say so."
His words were painstakingly condescending, trailing off as he opened the door and exited the car— striding his way over to the passenger side, opening it for you.
As soon as you climb out, he gently pushes you against the car, your back pressed to the chilled window as he cages you in. His hand travels to the nape of your neck—
"But let me make it easier for you."
His lips are on yours, soft and sensual; though his kiss is deep and passionate, as his tongue teases yours with fervent. You feel his knee start to part your legs, the apex of his thigh rubbing against your center causes you to gasp shallowly— to which he swallows it with ease, smirking against your lips.
It makes you nervous to kiss someone other than Jean so openly in your apartment complex where anyone who knows the two of you could see... but partly, it ignited something inside of you; the part that lived impulsively, the part that craved freedom.
That's exactly what Eren tasted like, with each swipe of his metallic tongue.
Maybe you weren't exactly sure of what was to come of your relationship, but one thing was certain: your life would never be the same.
"Text me when you figure it out." He grins, leaving you breathless as he floats away with every pull of the frigid winter's breeze.
Ethereal, almost, like a heavenly being blessed with the most sinful temptation.
Ironic, perhaps;

In ancient times, so long past that even the few immortals still around can barely remember, there existed beings who no one could stand against. Four entities of such might, reality eagerly bent to their very word. But they had a problem common men are not usually around for long enough to experience. The indifference of time. The ever-repeating cycle of events. Live a thousand lifetimes and everything is one big replay. Same events, different faces. Different events, same faces. Like a bad movie, on repeat forever. And yet, time presses on relentlessly, never stopping, never wavering. Pointless. Indifferent. The supreme ones would not accept it any more and so they decided to sleep, waiting for change to come. They separated the void, their home, from the other planes of existence and fell into a mindless state of unconscious bliss. Aeons came and went, until one day, change would finally come. That day is soon to arrive now, the veil concealing the League of the Void about to be lifted.
