Night of the Eclipse: Capital of Tenochtitlan.

The sun begins to set, Adihe and Xochitl cross the bridge to get to their home. Marina walks slower thinking of the voices she and Adihe heard back at the temple:

“BEWARE”

Xochitl opens the door; “Papá, dónde estás?”(Daddy where are you?)

However Cortes was nowhere to be seen. Adihe runs to the house and sees all the furniture destroyed:

“What happened here?”

“Big brother, I don’t feel so good…” Xochitl loses consciousness. Adihe opens his eyes wider: “XOCHITL!”

(BADUMP BADUMP)

“What is happening?” Adihe also loses consciousness and falls to the ground.

“Xochitl, Adihe…are you okay?” Marina enters the house. She sees their children unconscious.

“XOCHITL…ADIHE” Marina is in shock and quickly goes to her children.

“Don’t worry…they are alright Marina, they are just unconscious.” Marina hears someone talking behind her back. Marina turns around and sees a woman with a red dress and a veil.

(BBADDUUMPPP)

Marina feels an enormous amount of mana coming. from her. Marina asks with a shaking voice:

“W-W-Who are you?”

The woman smiles; “My name is Isabella and you will come with me, the Conquest has begun.”

(BBBBBBOOOOOMMMMM)

A giant explosion hits the entrance of the Capital city of Tenochtitlan.Fire rises with great intensity. Marina looks with a frightened expression:

“W-W-What is going on?”

(SNAP)

Isabella snaps her fingers. A bright light shines Isabella and Marina disappear leaving her children behind.

At the entrance of the city, a great explosion occurs thanks to the man calling himself “Guerra.” Hernan Cortes enters the city with his horse, followed by “Marina” and the two men and all his army of Conquistadors and Natives.

Aztec soldiers defend the city by attacking with arrows and swords. The man calling himself “Conquista'' raises his sword and green fog flows from the sword. The man says:

“Zelenaya Mor” (Green Pestilence)

He swings his sword downward. Suddenly, all the Aztec warriors fall to their knees throwing up blood. They begin to die one by one. Cortes raises his sword saying:

“ATAQUEN!!!” (ATTACK)

The conquistadors and the Natives clash into a bloody battle causing massive explosions, and many deaths. The battle lasted for 3 hours with the victory of the Conquerors.

(CCCHHHHINNNNGGGG)

“Where are we?” Marina and Isabella appear within the crowd looking at the top of the pyramid. Marina opens her eyes wider as she sees “herself '' next to Cortes.

“What is happening?” Marina asks as she begins to walk through the crowd but she is stopped by Isabella:

“Wait, let’s see the show as it begins.”

Montezuma is on his knees bleeding with a sword pointing at him. La Malinche steps forward and delivers a speech in Ancient Aztec:

“AZTECAS KNEEL BEFORE OUR SAVIORS WHO CAME FROM THE HEAVENS, THE CONQUISTADORES!”

The conquistadores cheer as the natives fear for their lives. La Malinche continues to speak pointing at Cortes and Moctezuma:

“HERNAN CORTES IS THE SAVIOR FOR THIS RACE, HE WILL LEAD US TO A BETTER TOMORROW, NOW FOLLOW US OR HE WILL DIE!!”

The Aztecs begin to kneel for Cortes and his men.

“NOOO….!” Marina tries to escape. Isabella grabs Marina and disappears. Cortes, Guerra and Conquista slowly walk down the altar and enter a red portal in front of them.

“MATENLOS A TODOS!” (KILL THEM ALL)

The Conquistadors began to slaughter all the Aztec survivors who kneeled before Hernan Cortes…

Night of the Eclipse: Temple of the Deities…

Marina and Isabella appear in the altar of the 5 Deities; “Now then Marina tell me where is the Golden Key”

Mariana opens her eyes; “I don’t know what you are talking about.”

“You should cooperate with Marina, or else you will die.” Marina hears someone speaking behind her, she turns around and sees “herself”:

“W-W-W-ho are you?”

“I am you...” Malintze replies to Marina laughing. Cortes appears from behind with Montezuma and the two conquistadores.

Marina notices and screams:

“Cortes, help me, she is trying to kill me!”

“...” Cortes stays silent, looking at her with rage.

“Cortes, what’s wrong? Answer me…” Marina runs towards him.

“SILENCE!”

(SSSLLLAAAPPP)

Cortes slaps Marina, making her fall a couple of stairs off the altar.

“Cortes, why did you hit me?” Mariana looks at Cortes with a frightened expression. Cortes once again remains silent. Mariana once again screams:

“Cortes, why are you doing this? I thought we were going to run away!”

“SHUT UP!! YOU IMPOSTER.” Cortes screams at Marina. Mariana looks at him with shock:

“Cortes, that look at your face…what happened to you?”

“Oh dear…” Malitze hugs Cortes; “Cortes you should kill the importer for our sake.”

“Who is she, Cortes, why does she look like me?” Marina exclaims, Cortes make a sinister smile:

“Who is she? She is my wife Malintze…the woman I love…for me, you are the impostor!” At that moment, Malitze grabs Cortes’ cheek and approaches him. Malitze kisses Cortes in front of her.

(BBBBAAADDUUUMMMPPP)

Marina feels a great pain in her heart. She grabs her chest and slowly begins to cry; “Why…why are you doing this to me?

Mariana lifts her head and with great rage, she screams:

“TRAIDOR!!!!”(Traitor)

“Come with me…” Guerra picks up Marina and drags her by pulling her hair towards the center of the altar.

Guerra takes out a sword and points at it directly at Marina:

“Now tell me where the Golden Key is”

“I-I-I don’t know what you are talking about?”

“Tell me and I will spare their lives.”

“Guerra” points at the children who were standing screaming for her. Marina opens her eyes wider; “It can’t be…Adihe, Xochitl…run away!”

“Conquista” points a gun at Marina. “Guerra” walks towards them, with his sword.

“MAMA!” The children scream at their mother.

“NOOOOOO!!!” Marina screams at the man, she looks at Cortes and pleads:

“HELP YOUR CHILDREN! CORTES HELP THEM!”

Cortes looks away; “Those are not my children… I only have one child named Marin Cortes and she is his mother.”

Mariana feels rage as tears continue to come out; “YOU MONSTER!!!!I WILL KILL YOU!!!”

“Guerra” lifts his sword; “I am sorry children…but you need to die!”

“No…someone, help them…someone help!” Marina prays for help.

(BBBAAADDUUUMMMPPP)

Suddenly the five deities from the Altar begin to shine with brightness. The 5 Deities Gods appear before them.

“You sinners…what are you doing here? You dare to challenge us Gods?”Quetzalcoatl releases a mana breath attack towards “Guerra.”

“Run away, you children!” Tezcatlipoca stands in front of them. “Conquista releases a dark green mana as he walks towards Tezcatlipoca:

“A snake and a cat…I accept your challenge…”

(BBBBOOOOMMMM, CCCRRRRAAASSSHHHH)

The stairs begin to collapse due to the impact. The children fall from the stairs.

“MAMA!” Both of them see Mariana with a smile as she screams:

“I LOVE YOU!!”

The Five Deities attack the Conquistadores. “Guerra” punches the Guardian Jaguar and The Feathered Serpent.

(BBBBBOOOOMMMM)

The Red Witch appears in the middle and chants; “Sigillum Ruber” (Red Seal)

The three deities: Huitzilopochtli the Green Hummingbird, Tlaloc the Blue Rain Salamander and Xipototec the Orange Guardian Dog get sealed in three paintings.

“Brothers…Sisters…” Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca escaped the sealing technique.

“I will kill you…Isabella…” Tezcatlipoca charges straight at Isabella.

“Fufufufu…how interesting…for a God to be this reckless…”

“Shut up you mortal!”

(BBBBOOOMMMM)

“Conquista” punches Tezcatlipoca. Quetzalcoatl charges straight at “Conquista”, “Guerra uses the opportunity, and makes a huge cut at Quetzalcoatl’s body.

(SSSSLLLAASHHHH)

“You let your guard down…snake…”

“Damn you…”

Isabella uses the opportunity and touches Tezcatlipoca’s mirror; “I think it’s best for you to sleep…Guardian Jaguar…”

“Wait!”

Isabella releases a red mana and chants; “Infinitum Sigillum” (Infinity Seal)

“NNNOOOO!!!!!” Tezcatlipoca screams as he is being absorbed by his own mirror.

(BBBBBBOOOOMMMM)

The mirror falls to the ground. Quetzalcoatl continues to fight both “Guerra” and “Conquista.”

Isabella smiles; “Just one left…”

(SNAP)

Isabella snaps her fingers. Four portals open, giant chains appear and tie Quetzalcoatl down.

(BBBBOOOOMMM)

Isabella walks towards him; “Oh…poor God…to see you like this…”

“You will regret this, Red Witch! You will feel the fury of the Gods…”

Isabella chuckles; “Foolish snake, I have already been witness of such fury by other Gods and I am the one who is left standing.”

Isabella takes out a sphere and rolls it towards Quetzalcoatl; “Now, let your power be mine; “Sigillum immortale” (Seal of the Immortal)

“NO…SEIZE THIS AT ONCE!” Quetzalcoatl screams as the sphere absorbs his mana.

(PPUUMM PPUUMMM)

Quetzalcoatl struggles trying to break free. -CCCRRASHHH- Quetzalcoatl breaks free and flies away trying to escape, destroying a couple of monuments.

Isabella grabs the orb; “Fufufu…That was 30% of his power…but he escaped when the ritual was incomplete and that means…”

(POOF)

Quetzalcoatl disappears from their sight. Isabella chuckles; “See…the rest of his mana left him and return to nature itself…”

Marina is in shock upon seeing the 5 Deities fall…”

“You have seen my power…Marina…” Isabella goes to where Marina is and grabs her hair; “Where is the key?”

“I…don’t…know…” Marina breathes heavily. Isabella licks her lips; “Oh, so you won’t tell me…don’t worry…I have other methods…”

Isabella grabs Marina’s forehead and closes her eyes; “Aperta Memoria” (Open Memory)

Isabella begins to read Marina’s mind. Marina remembers that the Gods said to her:

“The Key is in the heart of the volcano, it will open on the night of the Lunar Eclipse and we need a sacrifice to see that, please protect it, it will cause the destruction of this land if someone else holds it.”

“I see the Volcano,” Isabella opens her eyes.

Isabella opens a giant portal; “Time to go to the volcano”

“WWAAAIIIITT” Marina screams, and at that moment, everyone disappears.

Night of the Eclipse; Inside the Volcano…

Several kilometers away from the Capital City. The night begins to turn a reddish tone as the sun begins to cover the moon meaning a small light illuminates the Volcano Popocatepetl. The light makes the Volcano shine as a Golden Temple is revealed inside the Volcano surrounded by magma.

The group appears inside the volcano and they see the small light coming to the center. As they go inside the temple they find the altar, the entire city is covered in magma, only a path that leads to the temple is uncovered…

The group walks towards the temple and after climbing the stairs, they find an altar with a giant bowl in the middle and with strange markings from another dialect different from the Aztec.

“The altar of the Gods” Moctezuma looks at it with a frightened face. The light shines and Montezuma continues to explain; “The altar that has been said to have been built by the “CIBOLA” tribe…the protectors of the earth. “

Moctezuma kneels before the altar; “The CIBOLA tribe left this for us to protect the golden key…”

Guerra points a sword at him; “Tells us what the requirement is for the Golden Key…”

“I don’t know…”

(SSSLLLAASSHHHH)

Guerra cuts one of Moctezuma’s arms; “AAAHHHHH” Montezuma screams with agony.

“WAIT…I’LL TELL YOU…” Marina runs and stands in front of Moctezuma; “No, Marina, they will kill you…”

Cortes walks toward her and points a gun at her head; “Tell us…”

Marina looks at Cortes: “ Legend says that it requires the sacrifice of a believer, this is why we always sacrifice the prisoners of other tribes.”

“So it requires a sacrifice.” Cortes looks at Marina. Marina notices and crawls back with fear. Cortes walks towards her; “Don’t escape…you must serve your purpose…”

Isabella steps forward and stops him:

“You can’t sacrifice her, she is important to us…”

“Very well, I have another idea.” Cortes goes directly towards Malitze and hugs her.

“Cortes, what are you doing?”

“I am just thanking you for your sacrifice.”

(SSSLLLAAASSSHHHH)

Marina opens her eyes wider upon seeing Cortes stabbing Malitze in the heart. Malitze bleeds from her mouth; “Cortes…my love…why?”

“You are necessary for this…I thank you…my tool…”

Cortes takes out his sword from Malitze’s body along with her heart and kills her instantly.

“GGYYYAAHHH… YOU MONSTER!” Marina screams. Moctezuma slowly cries as he thinks:

“What have I done? Why did I trust him?”

Moctezuma looks at the man he considered a friend; “Cortes…why did you do this? By doing this, you are no longer human?”

“I know…I am a messenger of God…God told me to conquer this land…and that is my mission…”

Cortes walks towards the altar. Isabella explains; “You two got the wrong idea…the Exploreres are actually Conquerors sent by the King of Spain to obtain new land…those were our orders. The Hernan Cortes that you two have lived with for the past 10 years was just an illusion that I created to gain your trust…this man in front of you… is the real Hernan Cortes…The Conqueror…”

Marina and Moctezuma look at Isabella with sorrow. Cortes arrives at the altar and proceeds in squeezing the heart making blood fall in the altar consisting of a bowl with a key symbol in the middle. The blood pouring down slowly forms a circle in the center.

(BADUMP BADUMP)

Everyone feels nervous, as the temple trembles like a heartbeat. Suddenly, a shining golden light illuminates the area. The blood slowly forms the Golden Key. The Golden Key releases golden with black mana hitting Cortes, Moctezuma and Marina.

Isabella smiles; “The Golden key, one of the seven is here.”

Cortes is about to grab the key. -PPPUUMMM- Moctezuma pushes him; “I won’t let you!”

Moctezuma looks at Marina; “Marina, pull the trigger and stop the key from forming.”

Marina pulls the trigger causing the blood to spill and avoids the key from forming.

“NNOOOO!!” Isabella screams as she grabs the key but it disintegrates in her hand.

“You bitch!!” Cortes slaps Marina. Marina rolls down the stairs. Cortes prepares to fire his gun, pointing at Marina.

(PPPUUMMM)

Suddenly, Moctezuma hits Cortes; “I won’t let you!” Moctezuma breaks free and screams; “VENGAN A MI! ” (COME TO ME!)

In a blink of an eye, dozens of Sombras surround Moctezuma. Moctezuma absorbs the Alebrijes as he looks at Cortes with rage; “YOU DAMN TRAITOR! I TRUSTED YOU…WE TRUSTED YOU! NOW YOU WILL PAY!”

“So, he was a Shadow Tamer!” Guerra shouts, Moctezuma smiles; “You weren’t the only ones keeping a secret…Now merge!”

The Sombras entre Moctezuma’s body. Moctezuma releases an enormous amount of mana, his body grows stronger and his skin changes color into a purple tone with red circles in various parts of his body.

(PPPUUUMMM)

With great speed, Moctezuma punches Guerra sending him away. He kicks Conquista as well sending him to the opposite direction.

(BANG BANG)

Cortes fires multiple times, connecting Moctezuma. However, Moctezuma proceeds and destroys the altar; “You will never obtain the key…”

“Listen…Marina…run away now!” Moctezuma looks at Marina. Marina, feeling fear screams; “I won’t leave you…”

“You must…you need to find your children! Now go…my daughter!”

Marina begins to run, jumping the magma from rock to rock exiting the volcano. Cortes chases after her but Isabella stops him saying; “Let her go, nobody will believe her.”

(BBBOOOMMM)

Both Guerra and Conquista release an enormous amount of mana making the volcano react. The magma level slowly elevates.

“It’s been a while since I had a good fight!” Guerra laughs as he prepares his sword. Conquista also prepares his ax; “You’re right…let’s have some fun..”

Moctezuma summons dozens of Sombras more; “Escape, my daughter! I was a foolish king…I am sorry, my people…”

Isabella opens a portal; “I will leave him to you…” Isabella and Cortes disappear in the portal.

Moctezuma faces one last time against Guerra and Conquista as the Volcano erupts…engulfing the Golden City once more into slumber…
