" Great work, Ash! I bet that Rhyhorn will be a good addition to your team," Yellow praised.

" Surprise, your plan didn't get you killed." Lucario jabbed back

"Thanks, everyone," Austin said with a smile.

It was then they heard a rumbling sound.

" Lucario."

" Don't worry it's just a Tauros stampede."

" Let's get out of here!" Yellow cried as she took off running, everyone else following suit.

" Pika, Pikachu!" Pikachu cried out as no matter what, they always seemed to find themselves being chased by Pokemon.

"This is ridiculous!" Yellow cried as they continued to run.

"Lucario, who is the strongest Tauros in the stampede?" Austin asked as they continued to run not wanting to be in the path of the Stampede.

" The Tauros leading the herd is always the strongest," Lucario informed as Austin stopped.

" Don't tell me," Lucario said.

" I am going to catch it," Austin said as he jumped onto Haunter who began to mimic the sounds of a motorbike.

Pikachu face-palmed as he saw his trainer fly away into the forest.

Yellow looked at Lucario.

" What should we do, Lucy ?" Yellow asked causing Lucario to look at her in shock.

" What did you just call me ?" Lucario asked but suddenly a bush near them began to shake.

Austin and Haunter stood in the trees as Austin scanned each Tauros as fast as he could.

There were about thirty of these Tauros, and there were six in the front. That narrowed it down significantly. The leader would probably move before any of the others so he had to look for just certain actions in the stampede, whether it be a shift to the right, or left, slowing down, or speeding up.

Austin figured as he whispered something to Haunter who began to giggle.

It was then Austin saw a particular one speed up a little faster than the others. It wasn't long before the rest of Tauros matched its speed, and Austin figured that it was the leader.

He could go like Ash and capture all of the herd but no way in hell he was going to pay for the food and other essentials for that many Tauros.

From behind the group, Haunter let out a screech that spooked the entire herd.

For some reason, Austin suddenly stopped as he didn't throw the Safari Ball at the leader.

Slowly but surely the leader Tauros calmed the herd down as their movements started to become more wobbly as they slowed down.

The stampede continued to slow down as the herb looked around to find the source of that noise but Austin and Haunter were long gone.

Austin glanced at the Safari Ball in his hands before placing it back on his belt

Haunter looked at Austin in confusion.

Did he want to capture a Tauros?

Austin could practically read the question from the look on Haunter's face as he smiled.

" Don't worry, I just changed my mind."

Haunter was taken aback by Austin's answer as the transmigrator looked at his hand.

What was he doing?

Even if this was Ash's body, Ash's world, and Ash's Pokemon, why was he trying to maintain the status quo of the anime? Was it to maintain some timeline that probably doesn't exist in this world?

Even if he was trying to go back to his world, it didn't mean he had to follow Ash's example, this was his journey and he wasn't going to spoil it by capturing pokemon that he genuinely didn't care about.

( ~ Beep ~ )

At the sound of the Pokedex, Austin opened up and glanced at an unread message from Bill.

[ I have something to tell you, call me.]

Austin read the message and thought,' Bill should learn how to word his messages better, or else someone will think he is a pedo.'

With a chuckle, Austin returned to his group that was sitting beside a tree as Yellow was playing with something.

" Oh, you're back. Are you done with the suicide attempts or should I give you some time ?" Lucario asked.

Austin just rolled his eyes as he curiously looked over toward Yellow who turned and said.

" Ash, Can you help me ?!"

Seeing Yellow almost in tears, Austin went over to check where he saw a small, rodent Pokémon with pale yellow fur. Its ear-tips, collar, and tail are black and angular with twin pink cheek pouches and a tiny nose that looked like a dot stuck inside a small hole beneath the roots of a tear.

" Should I even ask ?"

" Well, I just wanted to play and Pichu got scared and ran away into the root before she started crying out for help."

" I propose that I should destroy the tree and let the small creature out."

Lucario's words caused Pichu to cry out.

" Pichu! Pichu! Pichu !"

" No, Pichu doesn't like the idea."

" Should I have Haunter go down there ?"

Austin's suggestion caused Haunter to phase out of the shadow.

( ~ Slap ~ )

Lucario and Pikachu tried to stop themselves from laughing as Haunter bitch slapped Austin before going back into the shadows.

" Ok, cancel on the haunter plan," Austin stated as he rubbed his cheek.

" What should we do? We can't leave Pichu."

" Yellow, no one is leaving behind Pichu. Wait, I got it."

" What is it ?" Yellow curiously asked.

" You can catch Pichu inside a Pokeball and then release it. What do you say ?"

" Pi."

" ... "

" .... "

" What the hell are you staring at me for, translate ?" Austin said as he tried to get a cigarette before remembering that Lucario had thrown his pack out and Fuchsia City had a ban on Cigarettes.

" Pichu doesn't seem to agree," Lucario said as he readied his fist to break the tree.

" Wait, Wait, Wait let me convince Pichu," Yellow said as she stood in between Lucario and the tree.

" Let's give Yellow, a chance."

" My way was much better," Lucario grumbled as Yellow took out a fishing poll before clamping a Pokeball on it.

Lowering it down, Yellow closed her eyes as she telepathically communicated with Pichu.

" It is always a surprise to see the aura of a psychic wielder," Lucario stated with nostalgic eyes.

" Why ?"

" Because unlike normal Aura usage. A psychic wielder's aura is like a beautiful artistic network of lines that seems to be unconnected yet connected at the same time."

" Ding " The sound of the Pokeball alerted everyone who turned to see Yellow happily looking at the Pokeball in her hand.

Opening it, a Pichu appears on her hand who looked around in confusion.

" Pichu !" Pichu said as she released small sparks that stung Yellow's hands before giggling.

Pichu jumped down from Yellow's hand causing Pichu to catch and ate a berry that Pikachu threw at her.

" Pichu, as promised I will release you," Yellow said as she handed Pichu's Pokeball to Austin as she had no idea how to release a Pokémon.

" Pichu, Pi!"

" Ash, wait." Austin didn't even bother trying to release Pichu as he knew something like this was going to happen since Yellow in the Pokémon manga had a Pikachu.

Yellow's face lit up as she asked Pichu," Will you join my team ?"

Pichu finished her berry and smiled before nodding vigorously.

" Yay !"

" Pichu, do you want a name ?"

" Pi !"

" Then let's call you Chu-Chu," Yellow said as she picked up the small Pokémon and hugged it who reciprocated the hug.

" I thought, Miss Yellow, would name the rat Pichy," Lucario said causing Pikachu to glare at him.

" Well, her naming sense is unique," Austin said with a chuckle as he saw Pichu struggling and calling for help as Yellow had fallen asleep midway through the hug.

Pichu seemed to get annoyed by the long hug as she released the electricity which shocked Yellow but didn't wake her up.

Austin and the others burst out laughing as he saw Yellow's hair turn into a golden afro.

The stampede of Tauros had resulted in some pokemon of the Safari Zone suffering some severe injuries.

Tangela was one such victim. Thankfully he was able to escape in time but his vines had injuries decorating them.

Suddenly from the bushes a pink, ovoid Pokémon with stubby arms and dark pink feet, tiny eyes, and three hair-like growths on each side of its head. The tufts of hair have dark pink tips. On the center of its belly is a dark pink pouch that contains a single white egg.

" Chansey !" Chansey looked at Tangela before waddling forward to help.

Chansey offered Tangela her egg as Tangela looked up at the helpful pokemon's face as a chill went down his non-existent spine as he screamed out in terror.

" Tangela !!!!!"
