Flowers spring from the ground

The rain of my pain

Transforming life into something beautiful

Eventually I crawl out of my house

The clouds replaced by the sun

I lost the battle

But I won the war

In the ground

I planted more flowers

In memory of the ones I lost on the way

Including the old me

At least I learned to make friends with the dark

I talk to myself

More than I talk to others

Because people can't betray me

But their words do

May is the bop of colors

Flashes of flowers in the musty dirt

Being able to roam the outside

Preparations for summer ahead

Sand-filled beaches in our minds

It's in-between

A new hope for summer

For happiness again
