I'm sorry everyone - I've been fighting a cold/flu since the middle of last week. With meeting all my mandatory (bill paying) obligations, I just haven't had the energy to complete my outline/draft for this week's post. As soon as I stop trying to cough a lung out (and the associated headache stops), I will try to get the chapter posted later this week... but as of right now, not sure what day it will be.
The above note is just repeated below, because a chapter must be at least 5000 characters long.

How A Villain Builds A Kingdom
READ THE WARNING Amadeus Devereux was born into a rich and powerful household. But he did not pursue power like his brothers because of his love for art, flowers, and poetry. Until one day, a servant arrived in the garden to see Amadeus smiling as if he was looking at a flower. Only this time, Amadeus was looking at the mangled corpses of two gardeners. ————————— Set in a fantasy world where magic exists, follow Amadeus as he embarks on a journey of self-discovery. Will he be able to feel emotions as others do? This is a novel that I wrote because I got tired of all the tropes that had transmigration, regression, deus-ex machina, etc. where everything that makes the main character reach the top is left to luck. —————————

Forsakens' Worlds
During the wars, there were rumors about random portals leading to different worlds. At first, they were neglected due to the ongoing conflicts, but as the battles dwindled down to minor skirmishes, it was finally noticed by the human population. Now, with the earth at peace, all governments and organizations encourage the people who find these portals to go through them, stating that behind them is a paradise, a land with unlimited resources and absolutely free of war. Lorn knew these proclamations were nonsense; he even knew there was danger behind those portals, yet, he still chose to pass through. What he didn't know was, passing through the different worlds, he will track monsters, meet different lifeforms, experience unimaginable terrains, maybe even find a new goal in life, but first, he will like to figure out how the hell he ended up in a cell.
