Water has no color, it's colorless. However it takes in the reflection of anything its up against. The color of water is different when its cloudy, when it rains, when its sunny. It also changes during the morning, evening, night or day. The color of flowing water is pearl white whereas the one that stays still, imitates the sky.

Use it as a metaphor to represent what does the color of water stand for. Eg: The color of water is different, grey- black, during cyclones or storms, The color of water brilliantly sparkles during the starry night, etc.
