《Suffocate My love》Chapter 78

Jakhyer had a book about an eight leafed clover. He is very much interested in the book ever since Ryle recommended it. It talks about how the clover can be used in sedation as well as purification techniques in cultivation. However most of the information Jakhyer already knows since he has prior exposure to the leaf. But since Reed suggested he reviews the text before he can authorize it to the students, he thought it would be a great idea to do so in this long journey to the capital. He did think he would be so magnetized towards how the author arranges the facts and keeps throwing important notes every chapter
Honor to the fact that it's already late, Kijad had them rest for a while and eat something. The servants brought four tents similar when the disciples sleep outside for practice and that is what they are currently using. They couldn't bring one for every single being as there is not enough space on the carriage so the tents have to be shared among a total of eight cultivators plus servants.
The servants slept in one tent, Jakhyer and Ryle in another , Kijad with Adrian and Valian with Joln and Syin. This arrangement is the most convenient of all given the emotional situation and tension among everyone.
Ryle laid next Jakhyer who had the light on dim. He didn't want to disturb him but he was also not sleepy. He could try to keep quiet but he would keep replaying Joln's face throughout his brain. Owing to this, every now and then he would make small talk but Jakhyer 's response was very short yet extremely dismissive as he was really distracted. A few pages and a couple of akward moments later , Ryle fell asleep
Just minutes afterwards a small rustle was made outside in the dead of the night and it immediately caught Jakhyer 's attention. He could think that someone wanted to use the bathroom but he didn't hear any other motions so he stood up to check it out . His elevation was so casual to confuse Ryle but his guard was sky-high.
He opened the entry of the tent and soon after he scanned the perimeter . No tents were open and all of them were dark inside. He moved towards the fire they had set up on the middle and he went to warm his hands.
It's quite typical for the night to be this freezing but the level of coldness is slightly more unfriendly which is probably the reason why some wolves here are finding it hard to sleep. It would make sense if they all transformed to wolves to use their fur but Kijad suggested that they do that for a short while. He thinks that they can get mephistopheleanically manipulated when in wolf form which is true.

Even though some features of the wolf get disabled when it changes form, the fact remains that it has a plastic core that is flexible and is the target of cacodemocic creatures.
The mechanism behind the demonopathic state of creatures is that a fox demon is more like a zombie. It can transfer that ability by simply killing the being immediately after making it agitated
What this means is that a single creature doesn't migrate from one organism to the next as stated. Rather it induced these death characteristics onto the living creature by murdering it. If it kills the creature as a human, it will become a human ghost but if it does so ad a wolf , it becomes a fox.
Another thing is that, the fox targets certain points on the host's body to induce the insane appetite of a fox onto it. This is the only way that 'possesion can occur '.
Wolves and ancient hummus believed and continued to preach that only a fox can cause the tremendous appetite and that is true to some point. If a spirit immortal attacks the wolves at those pressure points they can Kill it and make it a fox. This is tribute to that the spirit immortal would be able to control the animal as they are in the same realm , that is of the living dead. They would be able to connect to the creature and see which points in the creature are still usable enough to cause this . this is because some and not all the points remain active while the rest are inactive or just dead. Dead in the sense that they let energy flow and not accumulate, they aren't removed or blocked.
Some chapters in the books of cultivation say that disactiving a certain point causes a certain degree of diabolism to the animal. For example, if the spleen is attacked , the energy drains to other places like the eyes and nose, so the fox becomes a great hunter that isn't too hungry.
As for the fox's ability to destroy pressure points, these points have high volumes of energy therefore the fox can smell this as much as wolves can smell it from a dying human. This ability decreases with how much of the fox sensing apparatus are active.
But isn't feeding reducing the likelihood of the wolf to become a fox?
The answer is it does. An active core doesn't a full core, it's just one that has the most ability to fire up energy sort of like a hot pot.if a wolf dies with a hot pot , they become a fox . Inevitably the core will have energy inside and it will be so that it is fired up hence the belief that an active core is a fired up core. Understand that all networks in the body follow energy just like blood circulates through the body. Some parts of the body have blood moving at certain pressures than others while some parts of the body allow for a pulse to be felt. When the body is at rest, blood is still flowing but as soon as the body is promoted to be quicker, the blood flows faster. So even those dead points still flow energy. Whether or not all points pump energy at the same velocity is debatable .

When fired up this energy is detectable from a distance but when calm it's still detectable since the core works. Only at the time of death does the core become infinitely weak that it doesn't probably concentrate the energy and regulate the networks so the energy seeps out.
When a fox feeds they just drink the energy from meridians and destroy vital points along the way. They do so by causing a rapid energy influx . They inject their energy which is bad into the body. The body will be overwhelmed and destroy that point. Do note that a small amount from the fox is massive when transferred. They are wolves who died with a full core that is active and after-death remains active when feeding so they are always toned-up hence the sort.
Most sect-masters then question how is it possible that a creature such as a fox that needs bad energy to survive can survive just fine with energy from good source?Children are innocent and foxes feed on them. Don't they need bad energy?
They were then convinced by that, energy never gets destroyed but it is transferred from one form to the other. Meaning that as good energy concentration in the blood increases, there is a likability that it will induce conversion in the body.
The journal says this is true. But the conversion is from good to bad and uncommonly from bad to good. Bad energy has too high of kinetic power than good. most of the time, when the low kinetic power energy enters a powered up core the energy also gets fired up. Supremely infrequent does the good energy cause everything to slow down .
Therefore when this happens it's unlikely that the fox will be less gruesome when they consume good energy as the energy is turned to bad especially when the concentration of bad is great. Implying that if a creature has too much bad energy, every single time they feed that energy will convert the good energy tribute to that the proportional balance favors the bad and overpowers the good.
In conclusion, foxes feed on any source of energy both good and bad. Feeding on good doesn't affect the fox at all as the good gets converted to bad swiftly because good energy has lower kinetic power. Another thing is they induce death of point by injecting their bad energy into host causing stress as it has high kinetic energy, so the point gets maligned as they are like the points where energy accumulates before heading to the core.
To make a wolf a fox , simply mutilate the pressure points. Destroy only a single kills the wolf in sloe motion, so demolish several times to make sure the wolf dies faster.
Spirit immortals know the exact location of the pressure points since they can connect to the wolf easily. They know how to annihilate but they use good energy. Since their core is hyper, they can damage the point by flooding in the high speed energy hence the phrase too much of a good thing is bad.
Sudden death doesn't mean quick lightning or a arrow to the chest because the core will crumble in five times the speed and the energy will seep out at fourteen times that. Sudden death means when the networks get interrupted thanks to a dead point .there are many ways to cause this , just like there are many ways to kill a human.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
