《The Solitary Sword Sovereign》Child Of The Literati: Polarising Energies

Will now had his lower senses and his control over intent was now almost back.
I'm nowhere near completing the process, but I can already feel that my control over intent has improved massively. Is this what Odin meant by the foundation? Was my mind now that weak?'
Will estimated that his intent would have been strengthened by tenfold at the very least if he brought his minds together back into one.
'My mind is undergoing a painful metamorphosis. It won't just be my mind that gains from this.'
Will still could barely control his body and soul. But he knew that they would benefit greatly as well. Soon hundreds of minds became tens, and tens became a handful until only two minds were left.
Within Will's metaphysical mental space, two large bubbles existed. They were the only minds left. Only one wall existed in these bubble-like giant structures.
Bloodlust concentrated on the remaining wall. Corroding it piece by piece. It was like watching a video of natural rusting accelerated so one could see the whole process.
"Bloodlust is the Empyrean Intent of Metal. It has many uses, such as tracking, weapon reinforcement and support. For example, if you kill a lot of enemies and spill their blood, then you can draw strength from the blood you have spilt. This is called the Bloodlust Mist. You have used these skill passively in the past, in particular against the Storm Wolf King and his Protectors.
Now that your mind is no longer fragmented and more wholesome, you will discover that you can do a lot with the abilities you already possess."
The smooth, cool and mesmerizing voice of Wodin gave Will more hope.
Will was not surprised by the fact that Odin had seen his battle with the Wolf King. Modus would have definitely given Odin information on Will so that the former could properly educate the latter. How can any teacher impart their knowledge when they do not even know the capabilities of their student.

' That's right, there is a point to all this.'
Will could vaguely sense that the curse Odin had placed on him would elevate him to new heights, so he took the suffering without a single complaint.
Meanwhile Radiant Energy was fast at work, fusing the two bubbles within his mind. This time, Will was using the Breath to fuel his intent. Bloodlust drained him of yuan but the Breath allowed him to act as a conduit.
As soon as he gained control of his mind, Will had started to use the Breath. Without it, using Bloodlust would have been a pipe dream.
Radiant Energy drained his mental power, but his mind was refreshed every time partitions fused together so he was on a steady supply of Energy for both Empyrean Intents.
'Come on, just one more wall.'
Bloodlust and Radiant Energy were fast at work as Will spurned the Breath within him to propel his cultivation.
'I'm going to assume crossing that line will do something, so let's make that the first objective.'
Will expected something to happen as he touched the line but it did nothing. Will was a bit confused, but he continued on.
'Wodin made me face the screen for a reason. So I will just crawl. If I was doing something wrong the dude would tell me. I think...'
"Radiant Energy is the Empyrean Intent of Water. Water is the source of most life in existence and it is everywhere. You used Bloodlust poorly, but you have been severely underutilizing Radiant Energy. In fact, you haven't even tapped into 1% of its power.
All you did was use it to heal, but Radiant Energy can do much more. Of all the Empyrean Intents, it has the greatest utility because it carries forth the adaptation aspect of the Dao of Water. Vitality isn't just something you infuse, it's also something you can take away."

After speaking, Wodin kept quiet and silently stared at Will. Adelda had not come across any Empyrean Intents in her lifetime, not to mention that Information on them was scarce, so she was also unsure of what he meant. But someone else did.
'Vitality can be given, but it can also be taken away. Ah, I see. So that's it.'
Will's eyes regained the light they had lost due to the curse. Blue Radiant Energy pulsed from his gaze as he filled the final wall in his metaphysical mental space with Radiant Energy.
'I just need to go from pushing to pulling. Reverse the polarity of the Energy. What would happen if I handled Radiant Energy the way I do Bloodlust.'
The Blue Radiant Energy Slowly started to change colour as it become red. But it wasn't a bloody red like Bloodlust. It was a loud, intense red that seemingly burst with vitality. Only half of the Radiant Energy changed colour while the other half remained blue, catalysing the fusion of the bubbles.
Wodin watched Will with a happy eye.
'The boy realised that Bloodlust and Radiant Energy are two extremes in the same spectrum. When healing with Radiant Energy, one imbues vitality within the target. When corrupting a target with Bloodlust, one isn't just corroding the vitality of the opponent, one is also sucking it out.
He isolated the sensation of sucking vitality and applied it to the versatile Radiant Energy. Earlier on he applied Intent to the Metaphysical, which was a superb show of reversing initial steps. Now he has reversed Radiant Energy by using his experience from Bloodlust as a reference. He still needed a push from me but it was still decent.
The way this boy is able to polarise abilities. He must have the innate ability to change Yin into Yang and Yang into Yang. This must have to do with his Spirit Gate. And the one who noticed this anomaly first.'
Wodin glanced in Adelda's direction without the latter noticing.
'A child of the Literati, working for Modus the Mad, the world is truly changing in unpredictable ways. Well, I'm not complaining.'
Meanwhile, inside Will's mental space, the wall between the two bubbles started to recede at an incredible pace. It disappeared within minutes as the bubbles finally become one whole entity
Hong!
The moment Will had completed his task, his mind felt an overwhelming feeling of power. It was like he had gained an extra reservoir of mental Energy, and it spilt out of him uncontrollably. This power spilt into his soul and into his body.
