Hey folks. I promised to keep you up to date, so I have new news and here it is:
1. I got the full manuscript back from the copyeditor. It doesn't look too extensive, which is great news. But it will take a bit to get through it.
2. The cover is underway. I might post a few pics if I can get away with it.
So what's next?
Well, after I finish the copyedit, it goes back to the publisher to address any open questions. This usually gets rather technical from a writing perspective. For example, we talk about whether a paragraph should end here or there. It's honestly boring and might be the worst part of the job.
Once all that's done, we give the "pre-final" manuscript to the proofreader, just to make sure no obvious shit is wrong with it. After that, it gets formatted (a few reviews of that follow) and then we publish!
So with all that, when is the target date for publishing, you ask?
Assuming nothing goes catastrophically wrong, we are looking at a mid-January release of the ebook.
The audio is delayed due to scheduling, so I can't give a date on that. It could be as soon as Jan or as late as April
