Taehyung's POV

Y/N fell asleep by my side as I drove us back home shortly after she had calmed down, and I looked down to our intertwined fingers that she didn't let go since earlier.

Her eyes were a bit swollen, and I was still feeling such anger that I have never felt before.

How crazy was he to attempt doing such thing to someone while within the school compound?

Jungkook went ahead to the library after he called Jimin to get the culprit together, and personally, I would like to give a piece of my mind to that fucker as well, but Y/N shouldn't be left alone.

Jungkook told his plan of sending the guy over to the dean right away, and promised to keep me updated on everything.

And by the way my phone kept dinging with every incoming notification, I guessed he was fulfilling his promise accordingly.

Parking right in front of our house, I slowly got out of the car and went to her side, before taking her in my arms.

She seemed to be deep in sleep after the stress were let out from her system, and I was just hoping that she'd be okay when she woke up.

Unlocking the door, my movements had probably disturbed Y/N, when she stirred a little before opening her eyes.

"You can put me down," she told soft, and I simply obeyed, because being stubborn to have her in my arms for longer won't bring me anywhere.

I'm not even her boyfriend yet.

Plus, with what happened to her, she might feel some discomfort with any form of physical contact.

"Do you want something to eat?" I asked as I locked the door once we're both inside, and seeing Y/N nodded gave me a pleasant surprise because some people usually had no appetite after such event.

"Yes, I'm always hungry after crying" she walked to the living room and I followed closely behind, sat by her side when she plopped herself in the middle of the couch.

Staring into her face as she shut her eyes with her head rested on the backrest, I smiled when those pretty eyes fluttered open and looked at me.

"I'm okay," she spoke low, and I grasped her hand in mine, giving it a small encouraging squeeze as the smile stayed on my face.

"My girl is so strong," speaking it out honestly from the bottom of my heart, I earned an eyebrow raise from Y/N instead.

"I'm not yours, I'm mine" she spoke slow, and a small frown made it to my forehead.

"Please, Y/N? Under the pretense of being your boyfriend, I can do so much more to protect you. I'll have reason to stay close to you most of the time. You don't know how much I was regretting not being by your side when it happened," bringing her hands up and kissed the back of each of them one by one, I sincerely hoped that she'd let me be more than just a housemate to her at times like these.

"Jungkook was there, it's all okay now, Taehyung" she let go one hand and ruffled my hair instead, and I scrunched my nose with a pout on my face.

"You're not supposed to be the one who comforts me. It should be the other way around," Y/N chuckled soft looking at me, and I smiled automatically, loving everything about her.

"Will you listen to my request then?" She requested, at which I nodded immediately, willing to do anything to be a help to her.

"What is it?"

"I want cuddles after eating," she told, and I smiled wider than earlier.

With me.

"I'm a good cuddler, in case you didn't realize it last time," raising my eyebrows, hinting about the morning after of that night, Y/N bit her bottom lips before she nodded slow for a few times.

"I admit. You are," she agreed, not running away from the topic, and I was happy.

She acknowledged the night and morning we shared.

"I'll order the food. Do you want me to accompany you to wash up first?" offering her my company, Y/N looked at me a bit suspiciously and I quickly raised both my hands up to prove innocence.

"I'm not coming into the shower with you, I'll just wait in your room" I explained, and Y/N put down her defense slowly before she agreed.

Following behind her as we made our way to her room, I was allowed to sit on her bed after promising that I won't take a peek at her even once.

I obeyed again, respecting her decision, already grateful that she didn't totally push me away after I acted a bit desperate to be her boyfriend a few minutes ago.

She should take her time, and I'll wait until she's ready.

I've waited before, and I can wait more.
