Jane and Paul woke up that next morning in a great mood it made everything wash away fro a second. No war, no army, no vampires. It was just Jane and Paul.

Eventually the couple did have to get up and start getting things together for the campsite. She was just glad her and Paul would have a separate tent from Edward and Bella. Finding out vampires don't sleep really freaked her out and she could just imagine Edward sitting there doing nothing but staring at them as they slept.

She found it creepy unlike Bella who found it endearing..... Jane really was beginning to question which of them was crazier her or Bella at this rate.

"I think this is everything." Paul says handing the last few things to the pack to go help set it up at the top of the hill for the couple. Paul had decided to carry Jane from the house to the top of the hill rather then leave his truck on the side of the road. He had her bundled up in multiple layers and held her hand guiding her through the woods for the easy part.

He could have easily carried her but he knew the others would be upset and decided he'd only do it if she got tired or when they reached the mountain.

The two walked in silence snow had begun to fall and Jane looked at it with some excitement. She'd seen snow so little while she had been in the asylum only when flit helped her leave once every winter to make snowmen and have snow ball fights in the park hitting random pedestrians did she get to see it.

"You look beautiful." Paul says watching her take everything in it made her blush as hammer head gagged.

"Thank you. You look handsome." She says with a chipper little smile that makes him smile his eyes go to her ring finger and then he looks away with reddening cheeks. They soon were at the bottom of the mountain and he began to carry her up. Of course Hammerhead was quick to surface and glare the boy down, she was livid with him.

"Real sweet gesture last night fuck knuckles, think your gonna get some pushy now?" Hammer head sneers making Paul's shake his head with a bit of a scowl. Hadn't he proved him self to her or the other yet that he wasn't going to hurt them or Jane.

"I love her Hammerhead. And like I told her I don't need sex to be happy. I just- want her happy." He admits making her eyes narrow even more on him. She then gags and rolls her eyes before looking at him with an unsure look.

"Happy? Happy?...... more like weak. Just because your "serious" and you put a ring on it doesn't mean anything." Hammerhead says lowly and looking away from him with disgust as terrible memories cross her mind.

"What would be enough Hammer head? Seriously I'll do anything at this point to prove it to all of you that Janes happiness is all I want..... what do I have to do name it?" He begs just wanting the others to accept him but Hammerhead scoffs shaking her head. Her eyes glaze over a bit which is strange for the tough persona but she looks him in the eye fearlessly.

"You can leave her the hell alone. Everyday she gets weaker and weaker..... we need a strong primary or we are just gonna get hurt again and again. Your not helping. You men never help. You just take our primaries and make them think of live and bullshit like that and then you break their hearts and make the rest of us have to deal with the consequences." Hammerhead says with a low threatening tone but Paul wasn't going to back down.

With the imprint bond it was impossible to leave Jane alone even if he wanted to or else it would kill them both.

But also he loved her so much, she made his life actually have meaning and feel bearable unlike before he had her. He was nothing more then some nobody heading towards a pointless job living with his drunk dead beat dad.

Truth be told maybe he would have ended up just the same as his father. But he found a light in his dark life and he wasn't going to let her go.

"I'm sorry it upsets you Hammerhead. I bet one day we will all laugh about this." He says trying to lighten the mood but Hammerhead grumbles lowly to herself calling him a dumb mutt.

Next to appear was Jane and she looked sadly to the boy, everyone in the underground gave her such a hard time over the engagement. Even baby doll, she liked Paul but she absolutely adored Charlie she didn't want to leave him alone in his house with bland old Bella.

"I'm sorry-...." Jane says with a sad huff making him shake his head. "Don't be sorry. I get it Jane I do......" Paul says but it didn't make his heart hurt any less knowing her personality's didn't approve of the engagement.

A shiver ran down janes body as the cold began to deep through her layers of clothes. Paul pulling her closer instinctively as he carried her up the mountain.

By the time they reached the top the sun was beginning to set, thankfully the boys had set up Jane and Paul's tent already. Edward was at the top he looked annoyed and Jane could only figure it was due to Jacob taking his sweet time in order to keep touching and carrying Bella. It mad Jane and her personality's weary as well since he had already forced himself on Bella once before.

Paul and Edward also stared each other down as Edward smirked before glancing at Janes hand. "Congratulations." He says but he looks strained unbeknownst to the couple he and Bella had also gotten engaged the night prior..... but she hadn't worn her ring like Jane did.

In fact he was a bit jealous seeing how easily Jane had said yes to Paul, Edward had been proposing to Bella since he returned to Forks.

Paul gave a simple head nod at the words as Jane muttered a thank you. The couple then decided they'd go in there tent as a cold breeze blew through camp once again.

Jane and Paul laid in their tent with Jane wrapped up in her sleeping bag but her feet were still ice cold. As the sun set Jane began shivering and Paul instantly cuddled her, she made him take his shirt off to warm her up even faster making her touch his bare torso lightly. As she closed her eyes to sleep all she could hear was Bella's chattering teeth less then ten feet away.

"BELLA SHUT UP IM TRYING TO SLEEP!" Jane shouted suddenly making Paul jump before snorting as Bella could be heard lowly cussing about the cold. Soon Jacob went to do the same thing for Bella as Paul was doing for Jane. She could hear him making snide comments to Edward and she finally had enough.

"JACOB IF UOU DONT STOP BEING A PERVERTED DOUCHE NOZZLE IM GONNA COME OVER THERE AND MAKE KATY SHOW YOU JUST HOW HOT IT CAN GET. BUT- DONT THINK IM STICKING UP FOR YOU EDWEIRDO I JUST DONT LIKE PERVERTS!" Jane yells making Paul bust out laughing and she could have sworn she heard Edward laugh as well.

"NO OFFENSE BUT JACOB ALSO NEEDS TO BE PUT ON A LEASH WITH SAM HOLDING THE REIGNS BETTER OR SOMETHING. OR LIKE OBEDIENCE SCHOOL!" Jane lamely jokes Paul doesn't laugh and stares at her funny before she holds her hands up in surrender.

"No offense-" Jane says making him wear a wolf-ish grin as he tickles her making her laugh ring out. "SHUT UP JANE IM TRYING TO SLEEP!" Bella yells finally having enough, it makes Jane roll her eyes. "I SAID NO OFFENSE!" Jane yells with some hostility before she continued to talk crap to the other tent. "YOUR JUST JEALOUS I COULD GET IT IF I WANTED IT. YOU CANT BECAUSE THE 200 YEAR OLD VIRGIN IS TOO MUCH A PRUDE AND WOULD KILL YOU." Jane says and the other tent is silent as Jane smiles with victory.

Paul was a blushing mess but he definitely was trying not to laugh as Jane roasted everyone besides him. It's definitely one of the many aspects he loved about her so much.

Jane wasn't a damsel in distress like Bella. She had opinions, she had the strength and smarts to handle herself and she still managed to care for Paul despite her past issues with men.

Soon it was silent again making Jane curl into Paul as she began to think of how she could be dead the next day. Her hand unknowingly travels around his torso making Paul stiff under her hands but she didn't notice as her mind had wandered. Her hand slowly trails to the band of his Jean shorts making him grab her wrist making her stop. Her wide eyes look to him as a blush crosses both their faces.

She could feel something poking her and felt him trying to avoid touching her with it. He was trying to still have an arm around her but tried turning his body away a bit so it wouldn't brush against her.

Jane stopped him and slowly leaned in kissing him deeply, Paul easily returned it. Jane slowly moving so she was on top of him still kissing him, Paul's hands rubbing her back and thigh but he didn't touch her any further.

The two were simply making out when Edward let out a big sigh trying to implement to Paul he could hear his thoughts and it was making him uncomfortable.

Paul rolled his eyes since he was just making out but it definitely ruined the mood and Jane needed sleep anyway. Paul needed sleep. He was facing the newborn army tomorrow to protect Jane and the potato sack.

And so they went to sleep.

War was coming.

Jane woke up sweating heavily and dry mouthed, her eyes moving around the tent until they landed on a sleeping Paul. He really was like furnace as the sleeping bag felt like a stove due to his body heat. Jane tried wiggling free but it was hard when he had her wrapped up against his body.

"Paul-" Jane finally huffs and the boy simply groans not wanting to wake up yet. Instead he half asleep buried his nose into her hair and sighed with happiness.

Jane didn't want to ruin that but war was coming.

"Paul? You gotta wake up- the vampires will be coming." Jane spoke in a soft tone but the word vampires still made his eyes shoot open. It dawned on him where he was and why and he held her tighter. The girl tried not to make a noise but the heat was beginning to be unbearable.

Paul sensing her discomfort gently unzipped the sleeping bag making Jane sigh with relief as they slid out of it and stepped out of their tent.

The sun hitting the top of the mountain where they were made the girl cover her eyes before looking at the forest that surrounded the mountain. The view was breathtaking and made the girl smile despite the oncoming circumstances.

"You better not do anything stupid today." Paul says while staring off in a certain direction. No doubt the wolves and vampires were meeting there getting ready for battle.

"I can say the same to you. Maybe even more so- don't die Paul. I won't be able to handle it." The girl mumbles making him hug her and pull her close. As Jane held him she could hear Edward and Bella conversing lowly to each other but she wasn't focusing on their words. Paul's body stiffened as he heard the couple say something but it was Jacob that informed Jane why.

"Your marrying him?" The boys voice rang out on the silent mountain Jane felt her heart stop hearing Bella and Edward were engaged.

Bella really was on a course to becoming a shiny corpse, it made Jane feel sick to her stomach. She couldn't picture Bella sucking someone dry like a juice box. And it made someone else in the underground sad, it vibrating through the entire body.

Kay Challis.

She seemed to be coming around more worrying Jane that she would no longer be needed. How would she tell Paul? Would she even get the chance of Kay randomly took over? Would Paul imprint on Kay romantically and be able to move on from her? Would it feel like dying? Jane had so many questions but she ignored it, she had to be wrong.

Jacob storms away and Bella of course chases after him making Edwards face morph into anger and sadness. Jane snorted at him which got her a dirty look that she looked away from. Her focus was on Paul.

"I love you. Come back to me in one piece." Jane huffs as she hugs him as tight as she possibly can. Paul hugged her as strong as he could without hurting her nodding. "I will. I love you- don't do something dumb for Bella or- I'll never forgive you. I'll see it from Seth and I need my focus down there and I won't be able to do that if your hurt or bit." He truthfully states making Jane nod somberly.

The two share a kiss and Paul slowly pulls away from her, his tall form walks away making Janes heart pull.

Once he was out of sight Jane looks to Edward who looks disgusted by something. The girl shakes her head before walking over to Seth's wolf. Her hands begin petting his head, the hangman's daughter kept showing different things she was seeing and they were only making Jane more anxious by the minute.

A lot of the visions were people dying in all different ways.

When Bella returned she looked flush and confused, it made Scarlett and Karen squeal of her being in love with Jacob. Karen's squeal was in anger for Bella disrespecting Edward like that. Scarlet was clapping her on proud the girl had finally experienced Ed someone other then Edward.

When the battle began Edward watched through Seth's mind to see the battle. Jane just prayed she didn't hear Paul's name get brought up. At one point Edward stopped talking and gulped harshly despite being dead.

"What? What is it?" Jane asks already having a bad feeling. "Paul's.... Covered by them right now..... Emmett saved him." Edward says with a sigh of relief making Jane squeeze her eyes shut.

She definitely planned to hit the wolf for scaring her like that, and she definitely owed Emmett a game of UFC on the Xbox.

But again a disgruntled look came onto Edwards face making both human girls panic. "Victoria and Riley are coming- she didn't see me there and knew I would be with Bella." Edward says in an eerily calm voice as his eyes search the trees. He tells Seth to hide making Jane glance at the young wolf fearfully.

She couldn't help but wonder if Paul knew.

At first Jane didn't see anyone but then a boy with red eyes approached them. She didn't think Edwards species could look any freakier until she saw it. Yes she had heard of the red eyes but seeing them less then 10 feet away was far more unsettling.

And right now...,. Jane could only hope all of the Hangman's daughters visions were wrong.

Because she was always the one to die in those visions.
