(Y/N)'s pov

Before I could say another word, Narissa reached out to grab me. My heart raced as I saw her giant clawed hand coming towards me. People around us began to scream and run into each other to try and espace what was happening. Just as Narissa was about to grab me I felt something pull on the neck of my dress which caused my to fall back onto the ground. Quickly looking up I saw Edward had pulled me out of the way but now Narissa had grabbed his entire body in her giant claw. "You always find a way to ruin everything for me don't you!" She spat out in Edward's face. Edward tried to push himself out of her grip but I could tell he was stuck in place. Narissa ran towards the window still carrying Edward tightly in her grasp. Narissa turned her head towards me and spoke with a wicked grin on her face. "Come along now (y/n), I don't want you to miss this ending!" She then slammed her head through the entire wall and began climbing up the side of the building. "Edward!" I screamed out as I tried to follow. I quickly stopped as I was at the edge of the shattered wall. My body trembling as I looked down to see how many stories up we were and looking up the building only got taller. How was any of this even happening?! Just days ago I was focusing on my next paycheck and now I'm watching a dragon rip a man through a wall. I tried to clear my head and get rid of these anxious thoughts but it was hard to do that with all the sounds of screaming and running people behind me. I had to be brave though, Edward needs me. Looking back I see Giselle and Robert holding each other while trying to avoid the crowds of people running past them. Next to them was Edward's sword sticking out of the grown. Without hesitation I kicked my shoes off and ran to grab the sword. "What are you doing?!" Robert shouted to me. "I have to go save Edward! You heard what Narissa said, she's going to kill Edward if nobody stops her!" They both looked at each other and back at me. "Please be careful (y/n) I know you can save him." Giselle said while Robert pulled her in closer. I nodded my head and ran towards shattered window. I could Edward's shouting at Narissa as she continued to climb up the building.

Edward's Pov

"Let me go Narissa you've gone mad!" Narissa stopped climbing briefly and brought her face inches from my own. "No. Spiteful, vindictive, very large but never mad!" Suddenly Narissa shouted out in pain and looked down below us. Looking down I could see (y/n) as she pulled my sword out of Narissa's tail. "(Y/N)!" I called out to her in a panic. Narissa looked at (Y/N) and grinned at her. "Oh we have a twist in our story. It's the brave little peasant coming to the rescue!" She yanked my body closer to her as she began climbing the rest of the way to the top of the building. "I guess that makes you the damsel in distress now how pathetic. Keep up with us dear! It's time to take our tale to new heights!"

(Y/N)'s pov

As I climbed up the building in the pouring rain Narissa had reached the top and let out a stereotypical evil laugh and then followed up with a monstrous roar. I kept climbing despite the rain and my nerves. I couldn't let her hurt Edward I refused to let it happen. "Narissa! I'm not going to let you take!" I shouted at her I stood tall and refused to show her any fear. Narissa crouched closer to me and I tried to hurt her in the face with the sword but I missed as she pulled back quickly. "We're coming to the end of our story now! Are you at the edge of your seat (Y/N)? Just dying to know how it ends?" Narissa threw her tail at me and I nearly fell off the edge of the building. I tightly held onto the beam that was next to me. Suddenly what I guessed was a squirrel climbed up the beam I was holding onto to. I nearly lost my grip from the shock of being face to face with a random wet rodent. It was squeaking sporadically and waving its hands around like it was talking to me. "Do you know him?" I asked the squirrel as I pointed my head in Edward's direction. The squirrel gave me a thumbs up and jumped past me and started climbing up the building towards Narissa and Edward. The top of the building began to crack and give way from the weight of a giant dragon on top of it. "How about this? They all lived happily ever after! Well, at least I did!" Narissa laughed while waving Edward around in her grip. From what I could see the squirrel jumped in not Narissa and somehow his little body was enough extra weight to cause to start to fall from the top of the building. In a panic she threw Edward out of her hand so that she could hold onto the the building. Edward let out a scream as he began to fall. Thinking quickly I threw his sword towards him and caught the cuff of his sleeve which held him in place against part of the building. I let out a gasp of relief glad I didn't stab him on accident. Edward dangled from the edge of the building when suddenly Narissa no longer able to hold herself up fell from the top of the building. She tried to shout out some spell but before she could finish she smashed into part of the building and was lit up in green and yellow flames. She desperately tried to hold herself up but was once again unable to and continued he fall down. Her screamed could be heard getting farther and farther away until a silence came. I never heard her hit the ground or felt any impact but it was quiet other then the pouring rain. Looking back up I saw Edward struggling to keep himself up and his sleeve was beginning to rip. Just as the sword cut through the fabric he reached his hand up to grab onto the part of the building that was hanging directly over the edge. "Edward! Hold on!" I began running towards Edward not sure what I was going to do. The squirrel was trying to keep Edward secured and was holding onto his finger. The rain was causing Edward to lose his grip and he quickly slipped off of the structure. I reached out to him and grabbed onto his costume but from the force of him falling and the rain, I slipped off with him and we both began to slide across the building. Edward pulled me into his side as we both held each other tightly. As we could do was scream as we continued to slide down the side of the building. By some miracle we managed to come to a complete stop just as we reached the edge of the building. Both of us let out shaky breaths as we stared down at the drop that was almost our demise. We turned our attention away from the drop and looked at each other. I put my hand against his chest needing to feel something so I knew this was real and that we hadn't died. Edward put his hand into mind and held onto it tightly. "Is this a habit of yours? Needing help with the craziest scenarios?" I said as I grinned at him thinking back to how me helping him the first time is what led us here. "Only if you're the one who will help me." We both let out a small laugh as I put my hands against Edward's cheeks. I couldn't believe any of this was real but I didn't want this moment to end regardless of all the crazy things we just experienced. Edward and I looked into each others eyes as we finally leaned in together to let our lips meet. We held onto each other tightly as we finally kissed and it didn't matter that it was raining or that we were several stories up on a the edge of a building after fighting his stepmother. All that mattered was that we were okay and that we had each other. It felt like I was in a fairytale.
