The word 'nefelibata', contemporarily meaning someone who is always in the clouds and usually refers to a dreamer especially the kind who dreams to escape reality.

This is for Week Two.

The name of this poem is "Fantasiser"

You say I have no choice but to live in this dystopia,

but you're wrong, I'm up in my mind, living in my utopia.

Bet you wish you had a ticket too, but you don't because you're too dull for one.

With the imagination of a depressed elder, you fail to realise that wonder is never really gone.

Magic is possible if your mind lets it be,

you can transcend too, why can't you see?

I fly with the eagles, the canaries and songbirds to the clouds where I stay for weeks.

Look at the children, at what your inner-child seeks, precious dreams it keeps.

Just close your eyes and dream as if you're asleep,

imagine the wildest colours and don't you dare peep.

We don't have to pay any attention to this nonsense,

especially when nothing in our reality has to make sense.

The universe is ours to perceive,

all these narratives ever did was deceive.

You know it to be true, so here's your wand, just try to believe.

With endless possibilities, who knows what you can achieve?

So what if I'm a fantasiser?

Fantasies make up my pacifier.

Dreaming until the paints in my mind run out,

until the light sparked by the pixie dust goes out.

Lay on the grass, soft and lime-green, beside the lilacs,

and watch the clouds serenely move even against the night's blacks.

And take your wand, point it at your forehead, aim for your mind.

Become a fantasiser, and forge your own reality, perfect and defined.

They call me nefelibata

I call them belladonna.

They say I'm in the clouds all day

but they're the ones underground all night.

But what can I say?

They're choosing to live in this dark world without light.

And when the night frightens them they'll realise.

That we really have no choice but to fantasise.
