"And David called first dips." [Y/N] said, holding her hand out. David smiled softly. He walked over and kissed the inside of his wife's wrist, wrapping his arms around [Y/N]'s waist, making her smile and lean her head against David's. David looked st the others.
"I'll have her back at 2 in the morning. I know the rest of you want some time with our wife," David said. Dwayne nodded. David looked specifically at Marko and Paul. "And only prey on people who won't be missed. We're in a different country. Different territory. We can't risk anything." David said. Marko rolled his eyes and nodded.
"Whatever you say, Mister-Macho-Man." Marko teased. David narrowed his eyes.
"Marko." He growled. Marko held up his hands in surrender.
"Okay, okay! I get it." Marko said. David sighed and rested his chin on [Y/N]'s shoulder. Marko looked at David.
"And you do realize that if you don't get to spend time with her tonight, we still have a whole week to spend here in Rome." Marko said. David rolled his eyes and nodded.
"I know." David said. He looked down at [Y/N], pressing a kiss to her neck. "Shall we go, my love?" He asked.

[Y/N] stared out at the ocean, watching the waves drift in and out, leaving its mark on the sand. David had his arms wrapped around her waist.
"It's so peaceful." [Y/N] said, smiling. She then sighed and looked down. David frowned and looked at her.
"What's bothering you, Darlin'?" He asked. [Y/N] leaned her head against his chest, letting out a sigh and looking at the moon.
"I can't help but think about what my life would have been like if Max hadn't killed my mom and dad. If he hadn't brought me to Santa Carla. If I hadn't met you four. Would my life be completely different from what it is now?" She asked, more to herself than David. David sighed and pressed a kiss to her head.

"You know I don't believe in fate, I think it's a stupid concept. But, that day Max brought you to the cave, I think that was the one time I was actually willing to believe in fate. Maybe, fate brought you to us for a reason. Having you with us, it gave us something worth fighting for and something worth protecting," he looked down at her, making her tilt her head into his arm. "Something to love," he pressed a kiss to her forehead. "Something to cherish," he pressed a kiss to her cheek. "Something to believe in," he pressed a kiss to her other cheek. "Something to hold onto, for the rest of eternity." He finally pressed a kiss to her lips. They pulled away and [Y/N] stared into David's eyes.
"I love you, David. So much." [Y/N] whispered. David smiled.
"I love you more, [Y/N]. My adoring, beautiful, amazing wife." He whispered back. David then pressed a kiss to her lips once again. [Y/N] inhaled sharply, resting her hand against his cheek as the kiss got more passionate and more desperate. David was intent on showing his wife just how much she meant to him.

The Children of the Divine Limit
A realistic, psychological isekai: What pushes people to rejoice, to torture, to sacrifice, to kill? What gives some the will to survive and thrive in a new land and others the craving for dominance and exploitation? What would those who grew up without power all their lives do when given the approval and blessings of God Himself? How far will someone go to protect those close to them? How far will someone go to exact vengeance against an unjust world? How far can someone go before the abyss looks back at them? "Everything in the world is about sex — except sex. Sex is about power." - Oscar Wilde “Nearly all men can stand adversity, but if you want to test a man's character, give him power.” - Abraham Lincoln Greed is the worst of all the deadly sins; all of human history lays out the evidence to support this thesis. Consider all of the above before reading this story: A 12th-grade high school class is sent to another world; a world of sword and magic called Omicron where other-worlders are revered as heroes given the divine blessing of the Lord God Sapiora, creator of Omicron's human race. It is currently a world at war. The humans of Omicron need these divine heroes as weapons against the Demon Emperor and the demihuman forces of the evil god Azazelin. However, two students within the class, Ajax Leonid and Shaula Seikennith, haven't been given the hero's blessing. They've been given something else, something more curious; the blood of a deity who noticed their specialness. As a result, after escaping the clutches of their summoners who tried to kill them for their lack of heroic potential, Ajax and Shaula enter the new world of Omicron with no one on their side except each other. While wading through rivers of blood, Ajax and Shaula seek a stable life, a life where they can salvage happiness. They have each other above all else. Perhaps the cost will be worth it. Perhaps not.

Alex was dying, and all the millions his father had left him meant nothing. The life he had been so eager to embrace, to do the memory of his father proud, would soon come to an end. Cancer. That ugly, terrible word. He had tried to be strong for his mother, even when the treatments left him violently ill, his body wracked with pain, his friends and even his girlfriend leaving him almost as fast as his once impressive physique wasted to nothing under the ravages of his illness. And just when he thought all hope was dead, a couple discrete referals placed by high-powered friends of his family got him an exclusive spot at the most sophisticated cryonic facility in the world. He didn't know if there was such a thing as an afterlife, but part of the package included uploading a copy of his cortex into a digital universe filled countless worlds to explore, where he could embrace whatever class or profession he could dream of. All of which sounded hell of a lot better than the miserable death waiting for him in the real world. In the end, he signed the paperwork, putting his pathetic flickering life in the hands of potential quacks and charlatans. After all, with death just days away, what did he have to lose? Even if he could never be successfully revived, he could at least adventure his heart out. (Authors Note: Books 1-6 are now live on Amazon and here is a link if you wanted to check it out!
