Stan Cartwright sat in his domicile living room, pensively waiting while reading a banned holo book titled: 'The Sentient AI: A Dystopian Social Paradigm Shift for the Ages, Dehumanizing Humanity.'

The door toned.

"Come on in …"

"I'm Sean, your new roommate."

"Yes, I know about you. Welcome."

"Thank you." Sean entered the living room, then walked in circles five times while counting five fingers.

Stan chuckled.

"What you got?" asked Sean.

"Oh, pretty much the same disorder, but I count the corners of rooms." Stan counted the corners of the living room aloud twelve times.

"It's amazing how they matched us. Our entire village is like us," said Sean.

"Nothing amazing about it." Stan sighed. "It's that damn sentient AI."

"The what?" Sean appeared perplexed.

"Have you been living under a rock?" Stan pointed at his book. "Ever since they taught the sentient AI to scan body language and speech and create genetic profiles, it assigns everyone to live in areas based on their predispositions."

"What's wrong with that?" Sean walked in circles while counting to five again.

"Think about it, dummy. You have no choice. You can never participate with any other kind of people. The AI divides us by the spectrums of our disabilities or abilities."

"But I like being around my own kind," replied Sean.

"It's right here in this book," Stan continued. "Long ago, people voted to make the AI our supreme leader under the promise of utopia. Sure we had our problems, but we compromised, adapted, and tolerated one another for the greater good. But now we're permanently segregated. We're no longer treated as a society of human beings but assigned by our statistical numbers."

Sean shrugged and asked, "Are you hungry? I'm hungry." Then he walked in circles five times again while counting his fingers.
