Sleep calls me, and I scream silently, telling it 'not yet'.
They call this scream of silence a yawn, that I won't forget.
My eyes cry, yet I do not fret.
For us the dark and sky have met.
Now, beds and pillows lay set.
I may dream tonight I bet.
Come to me,
sleepily, inevitably.
Come to me,
loyally, repetitively.
