Tell me why you ask
'should I turn back?'
when you have come this far to bask
in night's dark shade that day doth lack.
Close thy eyes and feel the breezes of the wind,
open them to gaze at the stars.
Here, you're away from those who have sinned,
no, you're closer to Mars
than to them, you see.
Who art thee
if not known mystery?
I know you came here because you want to leave,
but you must stay a little longer.
Thy eye-water can take thy sleeve
while you return a little stronger.
Worry not, your sickness shall get better,
and remember, remember,
that thee art coming.
Thy fate thee art becoming.
So, hush, God's child, and next time the sun rises
take comfort in its luminosity.
Trials come in all sizes
miracle, tragedy or monstrosity.
Before you leave, remember to come here again.
So that you may be lifted above, so high.
Brought forth alongside men,
hurting, shifting, warping sky.
Take this heart that is yours.
And tell none of this night.
Let them sink in their pointless wars,
while you prepare to take off for flight.
Leave me to stay, to dream of the time
where lights like fireflies shall fly.
To torture or a place so sublime.
When they shall inspect, pry.
You'll be pushed onto a bridge you didn't choose, or maybe you did.
You know how this goes, no-one from you hid
this information,
tucked away in literary transcription.
Whatever you do, do not fly on your own.
I don't care how great the pain may be.
You must stay here, even if alone.
Your time will be chosen for thee.
Soon, all shall fall in their places.
Soon, all masks will shatter to reveal faces.
Soon, all will be revealed, disgraces

and legends alike, side by side,
moving ahead, still on this ride.
Riding the crazed ocean tide.
Unable to hide, too late to confide.
When will thee realise
that thee don't play the universe
the universe plays thee?
I will not disguise
the truth, the obvious, the living, breathing reality.
Nor, when you leave will this field vanish,
I'll be here still, when you come years later.
This place shall not ever tarnish,
we all wait for the mighty creator.

Legends of Arenia
Arrival: Legends of Arenia Book 1 is now available on Amazon, Apple, Kobo, and Nook! Interested in the Audiobook? Find it on Audible! As for Book 2... new chapters are here! Legends of Arenia: Discovery chapters come out every Monday and Thursday for the rest of Book 2, and at 150k words, it's got some meat to it. Hope you all enjoy the next installment of the Sullivan family's Arenian adventures! The Sullivans are a normal family. But after being transported to the magical world of Arenia, normal isn’t a luxury they can afford. It's just another Thanksgiving for the Sullivans—until the walls disappear and they discover they are being transported to Arenia, a place where game rules are real and their Earthen ability to reincarnate grants them unlimited potential. Or it would, if the celestial administrator in charge of their case hadn't mixed up longitude and latitude and sent the wrong family. Oops. Too bad he already faked their deaths. Now scattered throughout the Arenian wilderness and armed only with their Tomes—books containing all of their skills, accomplishments, and quests—the family members must discover a strength they didn't know they had if they are going to survive long enough to find each other. Note: Contains some profanity and a turkey, but not a profane turkey. Personally, I'm fine with profane turkeys, but if that's where you draw the line, you should know there are none in this book. In fact, I'm going to promise you no profane turkeys for the entire series. That's my gift to you.

The Twilight World
***Welcome, Heir of the Twilight World.*** These words delivered by a sudden blue window changed the life of Zach, a run-of-the-mill CS student about to graduate. His newly awakened power could have granted him infinite wealth. However, reality had other plans for him. After saving the life of his best friend, Zach discovers that the world is not as it seems. He enters a world where magic is commonplace. A world where traveling between dimensions to run an errand is another Monday, and mystical creatures are resources to be harvested. But this brand new world is also one of deception, violence, conspiracies, and hidden secrets. It's also lacking proper means of transportation. Will Zach survive his new environment? Will he discover the truth behind the origins of his power? Or will he fail in a horrible, yet somewhat hilarious way?

A City of One
A three-part story about a mad scientist, a child of death, and a man plagued by imminent doom. Part 1: He's the last man on earth, and it's all his fault. The time counts down as Cain fights against the remains of a fallen world in order to complete a mysterious mission. Where did all the people go? What is Cain's goal? Find out in "A City of One." Author recommendation: This story is best read slowly with sad music playing in your ears. (The Interstellar soundtrack and the song Undaunted, by Audio Machine, are some excellent tone-setters for this tale.)
