"YALL HI i had a MAJOR writers block but i'm back :)"
y/n point of view
from last night, your legs felt cramped and your mind was cluttered.
you were basically perished.
just so happened, now was the only class you and kageyama were in together.
but you were already in your seat, the rotting right side corner with your head onto your arms napping.
suddenly, a familiar grunt from the class door tickled your ears.
lifting your head up, you smiled as you saw the setter, feeling your eyes freshen.
from the entrance, his bag was sluggishly draped over his shoulder while he was tampering with the books he was holding. in the other corner table, he threw his books from a few metres as every book landed on the floor instead.
you chuckled at the sight.
"okay class!" your teacher said as he walked into the class ecstatic, pasting a piece of paper on the whiteboard.
"we will be changing your sitting arrangement!"
squinting your eyes at the board, it took you long until you finally spotted your name.
"l/n y/n and kageyama tobio"
that's what was stated for two tables at the very back centre of the classroom.
you got really excited in that moment.
panning your head over to the other side of the classroom, kageyamas face was expressionless.
wait no he, seemed annoyed?
"maybe he got in another fight with tsukki" you laughed to yourself, packing up your things to move to the center. you noticed he REALLY didn't seem thrilled to move at all.
skipping over to your new seat, you pushed everything in neatly before taking your seat.
"hi!" you waved happily.
expecting him to give the same energy, not even his aura did.
instead, a judgy look spread across his face, from up to his eyebrows to the corners of his mouth.

"hi" he murmured coldly, shoving every under his new desk before he sat down reluctantly.
you wanted to ask him something, but the teacher had already started talking and he wasn't paying attention to you.
at all.
so we are REALLY gonna pretend like we didn't fuck last night?
i guess we were, is what the tense air was telling you.
his eyes were set on the whiteboard though.
not looking back at you, he was looking straight forward and jotting down notes on a book like his life depended on it.
saltily, you reached into your bag and grabbed an aloof piece of lined paper, copying the diagram on the board and the answers to it.
but you couldn't help but take another look ar the poor boy.
perhaps i could cheer him up?
scooching over your hand with a pen in hand, you nudged elbows slightly as a smiley face was scribbled onto his paper.
with the sudden contact, he flinched and pulled his arm off the table. taking one glance at it he ignored and looked back straight to the teacher.
"tobio?" you whispered in his ear.
turning his head over, he grabbed your face with one hand and pushed you away.
"could you actually shut up?"
what the fuck?
you literally felt your heart shatter right then and there. you could hear the glass pieces fall out of your chest onto the floor before you. not once has he ever given you a glare colder than snow, but that was the current reality.
looking down at your lap, you bit your tongue.
so that's how it was gonna be huh?
a line had been drawn between you two by him.
you could see it, even though it wasn't visible.
two could play that game.

Marakar
Far from the exploration he yearned to go on, Rae, the Kijah prince, finds himself in the middle of the impending war between Kijah'dar and Ga'ani. Unknown to him, or to the rest of the states, the Kijah Magister plots to overthrow the queen, and he will stop at nothing to achieve his plans. Marakar is a fantasy adventure series about the island states of Mar’narana (with focus primarily on the two states, Kijah'dar and Ga'ani). Tensions between the big players are rising, with more and more plots getting revealed, and powers are unexpectedly shifting. As the string of seemingly unconnected events grows taut, the smaller nations suddenly find themselves into the midst of things, struggling with the sudden shifting of their boards. On a more meta note, I am trying to develop two storylines parallel to each other. As you might have noticed, odd-numbered chapters are very different from even-numbered chapters. That’s because those are the two different storylines; odd-numbered chapters are in the present, while even-numbered ones are in the past. Once the two eventually meet I'll continue with just the present storyline. This story can also be found here where it currently updates every other Sunday (about twice a month). Feedback is greatly appreciated! Thank you for taking the time to read. :) tw/cw list (please take care of your mental health! Don't force yourself to read these chapters if they may harm you). -------> Chapter 14: hate crime description.

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
